PSA: as the window signs indicate, they've been trying to close the store for about a year which means no new inventory coming! I then returned to the Dick's app to chat with their AI assistant. I inquired about my order and when it would be ready for pickup, and the AI indicated that it would be ready within two hours. By 7 PM, I still had not received any updates, so I decided to call the store. When I spoke to a Dick's employee about my order, they were unable to locate it and went to fetch their manager, Averie. Upon speaking with Averie, I provided her with my order number and mentioned that I had not received any text messages, inquiring about the status of my order. She informed me that she had not received my order. I asked her why, given that I placed my order online at 3 PM. She patiently listened and requested a few minutes to contact their tech support to determine why my order had not been received. Less than 10 minutes later, Avery called me back to inform me that their system was down, causing delays in processing online orders. She mentioned that I could expect an email by 10 PM notifying me when my order was ready. I agreed to wait. The next day, I called again around 1 PM, and fortunately, Averie answered the call. I informed her that I had not received the email. She asked if she could call me back while she contacted headquarters to find out why my order had not been processed. I was grateful that she was able to handle this herself, as I wouldn't have known where to start. I also appreciated Averie's assistance during my calls; receiving answers from a human is much more reassuring than an automated AI response. Ultimately, I was able to visit the store on Sunday and purchase the bicycle.

The clothing racks are clearly marked by size and the different sections are arranged according to styles with attention to colors. This retail team truly takes time to keep their selections appealing to their customers. This evening's event featured 90% off clearance, 20% off storewide, and 10% off designer ($250 or less). I have to admit that the additional discounts are music to my ears...and my wallet, too! Thank you, Style Encore for such a nice shopping event!

If you're going to deny someone a service, you should at least be able to clearly explain why in a respectful and professional manner.
