Service isn't the best. The employees aren't rude but just not friendly. Some of the female employees could be nicer and actually care about their jobs. It's not often I get a smile or even a thank you. Even though they've been around for a long time and have strong business. Becoming complacent can hinder your reputation. So this mom and pop pizza place has been in the same location for 20 years or more, the owner is amazing and she is all about family, always a friendly face waiting to greet you as you walk through the doors. This place has plenty of room for a large group or if you just come in by yourself for lunch your gonna enjoy your time here. I'm only giving this place a star because I have to to leave a review. My grandmother which is in her mid 80s ordered an pizza over the phone. The girl on the phone (phone call was on speaker) was extremely rude and argumentative and impatient with her. She never gave her a total price for the one pizza she ordered. My grandmother handed me 45 dollars to pay to include the tip.(5 for tip and 40 to cover the pizza due to not having exact change) I handed the cash to the Delivery girl as she snatched out of my hand and immediately rushed back to her car. She never said how much the price was or if she was going to bring change back. I confirmed with my grandmother to see if she only ordered one pizza and she only order one. I called Foot Hill Pizza to see what the total was. $23 plus tax and delivery fee came out to be 29 and some changes Not 45 dollars. This girl over the phone tried telling me and I quote, " she must of ordered something else". I informed her that it was just one pizza that was ordered. I was put on hold, then told me she would bring the money back. The girl had no intentions on bringing the money back until I called her out. She thought she was going to pocket this cash. This girl had an other coworker bringing the money back to tell me that is was a miscommunication and a miss understanding. We will not be ordering pizza from the place again. This girl had no intentions on giving the change back. I hope the man that dropped off the money had some morals and informed his boss of the situation. They deliver to my house which out here is a miracle in itself. Their pizza is good. The garlic sidekick is the bomb. If you go there and don't order it, you're missing out on the one thing that brings the entire meal together. Bottom line is that the place is great, not amazing. I was absolutely blown away by Foothill Pizza. Walking in, the restaurant was very clean, which is always a good sign. As soon as we got there, the line got pretty big, so we had to wait a bit to place our order. As we waited for our pizza, the amount of takeout orders was insane! Another good sign of great food. Our pizza was ready about 20-30 minutes after ordering, but it was so worth the wait. The proportions of sauce and cheese were so perfect and the toppings were excellent. The crust was the absolute star and omg I'm drooling, just thinking about it. After we demolished our pizza, we got the kids ice cream, which was also very tasty. The gentleman working was so friendly and was clearly a super hard worker. He deserves all the praise. The only problem we had was the kids wanted to play the arcade games, but they were unplugged. The temptation was real, but we were able to bribe them with the ice cream We live in Lodi, but we will most definitely be making the trip out to Lockeford for this pizza often. read more

I ordered half cheese (for my son) and have cheese, artichoke hearts and peperocinis for myself. They sure are not shy on toppings! Crust had a perfect crunch! Foothill Pizza is the best pizza in town. I almost always get deliveries. I'm clear on what I want and how much the total of my order is. I've never had a problem with them giving me back my change. I let them know if I need to break a bigger bill (that way the driver is prepared and doesn't have to go back and get it). Try the brownies. It's yum, especially with ice cream and chocolate syrup on top. read more

Terrible. I went to get some pizza and relax. The soda machine had bugs coming down in my drink. The pizza had a hair and the candy machine took my kids quarters. I have lived in Lockeford for over 30 years & I have been going to Foothill Pizza for more years than I can remember. At any given time there is only one or sometimes two other pizza places in Lockeford. Don't go to those other places. Foothill is by far the best pizza in Lockeford. They have recently remodeled & it looks really fresh & clean now. They make great sandwiches in addition to their pizza. Also you can order take & bake to prepare at home if you want to save a few bucks, which we frequently do. I would be greatly remiss if I did not give a shout out to Angela. A super nice lady who is in charge most of the time we order or frequent the establishment. Most of us remember when we have had a bad experience with a pizza place or restaurant with an employee.
