Having now had two jobs completed by Foothill Renovators, a bathroom remodel and, most recently, an ADU build, I can attest that Peyton, Sam and their team are quality people who deliver quality work. I was happy with the outcome and process of completing my bathroom remodel, so when I decided to take on a bigger project - building a nearly 900 sq ft ADU on my property, Peyton at Foothill Renovators was the only contractor that I trusted to take on the job. Peyton is skilled at his craft and, with both projects, he & Sam were able to make my vision a reality. For me, a team who was reliable and honest was just as important as skillset. The entire crew at Foothill Renovators: Peyton, Sam, Manny, Beto, Mario, Isaac, & Denver was an absolute pleasure to work with. Each of them was knowledgeable, friendly, and hard working. I felt like every member of the team was truly invested in the outcome of the project and took pride in their role. They showed up every day and kept me in the loop about what part of the project they were currently working on completing. In addition to having an amazing core team, I was happy with the work from each of the subcontractors that Peyton recommended for various needs on the project. To be able to say that completing a construction project was a good experience is rare, but that was definitely the case working with Foothill Renovators. I am extremely happy with the end result of my ADU build and highly recommend Foothill Renovators to anyone looking to take on a similar project.

My fiancé and I were looking for a contractor to handle our remodel and were lucky enough to come across Peyton and his team. When first meeting Peyton and Sam we went over what the vision was as far as the whole layout. Peyton was confident about the job and the quote was very reasonable compared to others we had received. Once we hashed out all the details, we got the official quote and a timeline of when the project was going to be finished. Peyton has a full roster of specialist for different trades needed in a remodel and Manny was a great foremen who always made sure the details were to the T. I learnt a lot from Manny throughout the whole process just by talking and asking questions. He was always willing to give valuable knowledge on different things around the house. If you're lucky enough to get a bid from Foothill Renovators, I'd definitely recommend going with them.

After being mislead and abandoned by a couple contractors we set an appointment with Foothill Renovators. Peyton showed up and took some measurements and gave a ball park idea of timing and pricing. We promptly received a written quote and proceeded to move forward. The crew showed up day 1 and begun process of demo and we were extremely happy with the organization, and planning they put in. Not sure if this makes sense but even demo was clean, in past experiences not the case. The process of remodeling our kitchen was in full swing and we were very content. One of the highlights was one day the crew was working and I spoke to a foremen about how we gave up on a new design and just settled with a refacing based on all our consultants. Manny came back to me and had designed a whole new layout. Our house is a typical 50s house in Northern Glendora with not much kitchen space. Mannys idea opened up our kitchen and gave us a brand new feel. My wife and I are so happy with the process and the final product. There were a couple things that needed our attention and the team did not fuss and made time to correct. We would recommend Peyton and his team to all of our friends and family!!!

Foothill Renovators completed a Kitchen Remodel, repiped our laundry closet, and replaced about half the floors in the home. Peyton's crew was always on time and responsive to our requests. He was easy to work with and stayed in budget. When we had change orders the price was fair and agreed upon before work was completed. When the project started he provided me a copy of his license, bond and insurance which I had requested. We had started plans with another contractor who quoted us double our budget and pressured us into buying materials before the project even started. At this point we contacted Peyton and he gave us a quote that was within our budget.. Peyton worked with us and was very patient as we struggled with getting the materials we had paid for from the other contractor. Peyton listened to us and built what we wanted and was very upfront about pricing. At the end of the project his crew resolved all of the items on our punch list. My wife and I love our new kitchen!

Foothill Renovators completed a garage conversion to an ADU for us in Long Beach. From the very first visit, Peyton listened to what we wanted, how we wanted it done, and then gave a us a quote that matched. He then worked with us on the scope and change orders to make sure that we stayed in budget and got the most from the work that they did. Once the project started, Peyton and his crew didn't waste a minute. They were there on the first day with about what felt like 100 people for concrete and stucco demo, trenching, plumbing, black pipe, etc.. and cranked through the hard stuff - it felt like we had the building inspector over daily to sign off on work they were doing. He was always available for questions or concerns and took care of any issues immediately. Foothill Renovators gave us exactly what we had asked for, and it turned out great.

UPDATE: we just had the Foothill Renovator team back out to do a master bathroom remodel / refresh to match the master bedroom that they built for us last year. Once again, Peyton and his guys came out, we created a plan and were in full "go mode" within a couple of weeks. Check out the before and after pictures and you will see why we keep having this team come out! Seriously, no messing around here. The price is right and the crew(s) are top of their game. We had to push the toilet over a foot to make room for our new double vanity and mirror set. Recessed lighting, paint, floors (thank God on that one , this bathroom was OLD!) Thanks again Peyton and crew.... See you in a few months for the kids bathroom!

Can't say enough great things about foothill renovators. Peyton is very hands on in making sure everything was done to our satisfaction. This is the second time working with Peyton and his team, and they did a great job. We redid the entire flooring of our home and redid our kitchen. Their team was always on time, and cared about making it perfect. Everyone was involved with every step of our renovation, and I wouldn't use another contractor. I highly recommended them.

Peyton and his crew recreated my fireplace in December and did a wonderful job. Despite being in the middle of the holidays and 6 other jobs, Peyton was flexible and completed our project quickly before Christmas. I had a difficult time finding a contractor that would do my fireplace without also taking on a larger project, like a bathroom or kitchen, so it was a relief that he so easily made himself available. I showed him photos of what I wanted & Peyton helped guide me to find the right materials. We previously had a chimney specialist remove some of the extra brickwork, which left an exposed area. Peyton's crew added drywall & texture to the wall & ceiling and then painted it our desired color. They also added in a small section of flooring and baseboards where there had previously been bricks. He worked with an excellent tile specialist named Carlos, who cut and applied the stone. The seams are flawless and beautiful. The team applied drywall and then wood paneling above the stone. After painting the panels, they attached our mantle. We painted the inside with black out paint and added the gas burner and fire glass at a later date, but they were willing and available (we did not have the materials yet at the time of our project). I'm posting this review a few months later now that our glass door finally arrived and was installed (it was the last step in our project). It was such a relief to work with Peyton as he was courteous and available. Overall, his team was clean and they were worked efficiently. I was very pleased with the end product as it is exactly what I wanted.

    Before

When looking around for a person you can trust that does a quality job can cause a bit of anxiety when you're trying to remodel your house. Reaching out to Foothill Renovators and having Peyton come out for a walk-through on what we wanted done to our place was a great experience. Over the years different people have worked on this house and hasn't always been 100% quality. Peyton and his crew seem to find everything that wasn't how it should've been and corrected it along with turning our house from the 50s into a beautiful modern masterpiece! We gave him a time frame and he completed it on time and made sure we were 100% satisfied with the work done. I got to give a shout out to Manny the lead on the job for taking care of what we thought was the impossible and executing it to the highest level. Thank guys!

We finished up a whole house remodel with this company in May 2021. From start to finish they were professional, reliable, on time and clean. This was our second project with them and again Peyton was communicative and responsive anytime I had a question. We met with 5 contractors and he was by far the most professional and easiest to talk to and offered a fair price for the amount of work we requested. We did a full gut of kitchen and 2 bathrooms, flooring, paint and popcorn removal throughout. The project took about 7 weeks start to finish (we were able to completely move out of our home for the duration of the work) and it was quality from the inside out. Trusting someone with this amount of work in your home is a big and stressful decision and we're happy we chose this company to work with.

    Old bathtub

After two false starts with previous contractors, our timeline to replace the old bathtub with a new one and add a shower (before the arrival of a houseguest) had become stressfully short. Knowing Peyton Stewart of Foothill Renovators had a great reputation, I reached out to him. He wasn't going to have time personally, but told me he had a highly skilled guy who was looking for extra work on weekends. Enter Chris! We struck gold with this good man. He is not only very talented, he is a meticulous perfectionist, respectful of property, and a sweetheart. I'm a tradesperson myself, so I know, appreciate and would never take for granted how extra-committed Chris was when he took on our project. We hit a few snags along the way, and he never flinched. He always came up with a professional workaround. The finished product is a work of art. We worked together on this, almost every day after work as well as weekends. No matter how exhausting his days would be, he was always ultra conscientious about cleaning up and keeping dust to a minimum. I look forward to hiring Chris for all future projects. He is a gem.

Foothill Renovators did a complete remodel and addition for us. Our house started as a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom, 850 sqft home in need of lots of care. Now it's a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom, 1900 sqft gorgeous home! We're so happy with it. Peyton and his team were awesome. Peyton always had great ideas for us. Being a 1902 house we had a few unexpected surprises throughout the project and he offered great ideas that would work in our budget. What sets them apart is how well Peyton worked with our city and all other parties involved; he always found ways to get things done quicker and at a minimal cost if any. His team was phenomenal and reflected his work ethic. Everyone we interacted with were super friendly, respectful, and pleasant to work with. Peyton was always available for us to contact him and answered our many, many questions we had during the whole project. Overall, there is no one better in the area to get the job done than Peyton and his team.

One roofer came out and said we needed a new roof. Two other roofers came out and said they could replace the tiles, and fortunately the previous owners left us a stockpile of tiles so they wouldn't need to order many -- or any -- tiles. Mind you, according to all of these roofers, the tiles we have are top-of-the-line, expensive freaking tiles! When Jim came out, we could tell he was the man for the job. He walked on our roof, but he knew exactly how to step on the roof to not break any of the tiles. He counted all of the broken tiles, assessed the damage, and pointed out other areas that needed some work. He was by far the most detailed roofer to inspect our roof. His solution was to repair the cracked tiles that could be repaired (approx. 25 of them had hairline fractures), and replace the other 25 tiles. We really liked the fact that he could save some of the tiles and could repair them -- so we'd still be left with extras. We decided to go with Jim because we liked his approach and felt his solution was the most beneficial. Thanks again, Jim & Everlast Roofing!

Besides price, our other priority was a company that did not use subcontractors, and SoCal Roofing only uses their own employees, so we felt confident moving forward with them after checking out some of the previous homes they'd worked on. From quote to install, the project went very smoothly. They were quick to respond to any questions we had, and the full roof replacement was done in about three days. Timing couldn't have been better, since we got several days of rain a few days after the install, so it was the perfect time to "test" the roof to make sure there weren't any leaks. We were solid. Among all the businesses we've worked with for other upgrades to our home, we can honestly say that SoCal Roofing is one of the only ones where we have felt 100% confident in the work that they did. What really stood out as part of the decision was his knowledge, attention to detail, and prior experience working on the same type of roof as mine. In addition to standard shingles, my home includes a permitted sunroom with an aluminum panel roof that had been leaking. Bottom Dollar Roofing was the only company willing to address this as part of the project. Keith's team cleaned and sealed the aluminum roof, and it has held up with no leaks, even through the most recent heavy rainstorm. The process was smooth from the start. Only a small deposit was required to get on the schedule, and Jill in the office kept me informed throughout, especially regarding weather-related scheduling updates. She also provided helpful guidance during the color selection process, including a list of nearby completed homes with color choices I was considering, so I could drive by to see them in person. That made a big difference in choosing with confidence. Keith's crew was professional and detail-oriented. They kept the job site clean each day, removing debris and nails from the surrounding area. The work was completed on schedule, and the quality was excellent. They also repaired weather-damaged plywood and ensured the existing structure was brought up to code. Any potential additional repair costs were clearly outlined in the initial quote, so there were no surprises (though, as expected, some issues only became visible once the old roofing materials were removed). I highly recommend including Keith and Bottom Dollar Roofing in your vendor selection process. We're very satisfied with the results, and the new roof looks great.

His personable nature immediately put us at ease and showed his genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Our roof had several areas of concern, and he communicated everything clearly and knowledgeably highlighting all of the risks and recommendations. He even made a detailed video on the spot during the visit to walk us through his findings which proved valuable during negotiations with the seller. Later Noah returned to help troubleshoot several leaks during heavy rains. He again demonstrated his commitment and attentiveness and methodically tracked down the source of the leak and presented solutions. Upon initial inquiry, Specialist Roofing & Repair was pretty quick to reply, so I scheduled a consultation. One odd thing is, when I scheduled, they asked if the would be seeing both my husband and I or just me; I find this a strange question as what if I wasn't married? It is awfully assumptive to think I had to have a husband, but I digress. Noah was scheduled to perform the inspection. He was running a bit late and called about 5 minutes after our scheduled time letting me know he ran into some traffic and would be about another 5 minutes or so. He showed up 20 minutes later and it was the oddest thing, he parked in my driveway. When he came up to the door he asked if it was okay and I said okay, but honestly, I found it really strange and just didn't want to prolong the appointment. Upon inspection, he seemed very knowledgeable and personable and did a pretty thorough inspection taking pictures and videos of the roof and surrounding areas. As mentioned, I am the type to obtain multiple quotes, so I expected that after he did the inspection, we would go over his findings and a few days later I would receive a quote. After he did the inspection, he showed me a video of something the other roofers didn't, which was nice as I like a thorough job, but then said he would be in touch with a quote. I received a phone call a few days later asking to discuss findings, but when I called back, I got an AI bot which was then followed up by a call back from a real person. Oddly enough, when they called, they literally said nothing. They asked if it was a good time to talk and I said yes but they wanted to talk when "my husband was around." Even though I said it was a good time, they said they would call back. I followed up via Yelp message. It has been over a week and I have yet to receive any quote from them. Needless to say, I won't be going with this company. They aren't willing to work with just a woman and are unresponsive.

Their pricing came out second lowest of the 6 companies I received quotes from. However, Kyle's communication and praise from other reputable contractors convinced me to roll with them. I wanted the roof done correctly, not necessarily for the lowest dollar amount. Once I signed on, Kyle was there throughout the entire process. He took care of permitting, informed me of when inspectors would show up, and even called to ask if I would like to be moved up on the schedule. I was impressed--I rarely come across contractors that are great communicators. Our new roof took 4 days. Kyle laid out exactly what would happen during each day. He was onsite during the tearoff and walked me through any small issues he saw, such as a few pieces of rotted plywood. The crew Kyle worked with was excellent. Each day, they cleaned up thoroughly and even took in my trash cans on garbage day! What kind of contractors go above and beyond like that? On their final day, one of the workers proudly showed me a video of the roof. I love it when people take such pride in their jobs. Overall, I cannot recommend Competition Roofing highly enough. They are true professionals in their communication, execution, and operations (yes, they are licensed and insured!).
