I purchased a shogun for home protection and came here to learn the ins and outs of my firearm. Lane rental is $30 and Mr Jule gave me a personal assessment for no extra charge. What a guy. A year later I took my local CC class I came back to Mountain Range to train and learn more about 9mm's. They had a selection of rentals for me to choose from and once again I had a Lesson with Mr. Jule. I left feeling much more confident about not only my skill level but also which firearm I would be purchasing in the future. It wanders by the old granite quarry and has shots below you, shots over water, some are quite unique. There are two stands on a high point where you shoot down at clays that are above the tops of the woods below. One of the best courses you will shoot. Additionally they have Trap as well a a five stand setup and skeet. Whatever you prefer to shoot with a shotgun is available... The have numerous pistol bays where you can likely shoot by yourself with high berms between you and the adjacent shooter. They have a rim fire only setup for anyone so inclined. And the center fire rifle range reaches out to 400 yards. Nice clubhouse. They have shells for sale. The shotgun courses accept a credit card size card that you charge with clays. You can come out any day, open the gate with your code and shoot clays on your own or with a friend. I've been a member for years and highly recommend it.

It's pretty well away from the nearby homes so I think they shouldn't be too disturbed by the gunfire. I was here for a sanctioned IDPA match (International Defensive Pistol Association) and the folks who ran the match did a fine job. Lots of space for parking, a reasonable amount of shade and stages that were well designed to challenge shooters. I still did an awful job, but I am improving!
