Nice 2 bay range in Greenville. I belive there are a total of 16 shooting spots, 8 in each bay. They are military friendly and you can shoot all day for 1 low price. They have everything you need to enjoy a day at the range so you don't have to be prepared to go there, just show up, have fun and of course be safe. read more

When you are shooting the target, the instructor can immediately tell you what you did wrong, how to adjust your trigger finger, even why you hesitated. See, I just gave away my flaws in my training LOL. But all in all he said I did great. We were looking for a nice place to shoot for the afternoon so we thought we'd try Sharpshooters. The folks were friendly, so we decided to rent a few handguns to try. The 4 rental guns we tried jammed and misfired. We had to get the guy out several times to look at the weapons, and he deemed them filthy. No attempt as made to compensate us for the time we should have spent shooting. If this were my first time shooting, I would have given up the hobby. If they would take the time to take care of their weapons, I'd go back but as for now, we will be going someplace else. read more

This review is for the range only. The range is a well ventilated and bright gun range. Each of the bays has a automatic control to love the targets back and forth up to 25 yards. There are lines at I believe 3, 7, 10 yards. Unlike other ranges, this one does not have a digital display of the distance that the target is currently set at. They have plenty of targets to choose from, and a decent demo gun program (wish they had more to choose for a rental). The store inventory is pretty low. They have a minimal amount of guns for sale for a show room so large. It feels sort of empty. But hey, you come here to shoot, the range is a 'blast'. It's worth every penny. read more

Frazier was our instructor and you could not have asked for a more professional and knowledgeable employee. I took my son for individual instruction and we were never rushed and every question my son had, and he had quite a few, was answered thoroughly. Very unorganized only 1 rifle rental. Had to wait over 2 hrs and had a shooter jump in front of us because we went to the bathroom so we lost our spot and weapon thinking they would hold it for us after we already checked in. Staff wasn't nice and did not offer any help. Overall terrible experience and waste of time. Never even got to shoot. read more

The staff especially the Gunsmith were very helpfully for my first time at their range. My handgun had an issue and the gunsmith looked at it. He determined that one of the springs in the trigger mechanism was not attached at both ends. He fixed it and refused to take money for it. The range is a little gloomy. It feels like you're walking down into someone's basement. But it was adequate, clean and reasonably priced. read more

My Mother-In-Law, who is 81, wanted to practice firing her revolver, so I got a couple of Groupon's and took her, my wife and one of my sons shooting on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived around 2PM, which looked like a lull time, but we had a 15 minute wait, which gave us time to look around at the knives, pens, firearms, etc. They have some interesting merchandise if anyone is looking for a Fathers Day gift. Our Groupon covered targets (8 of them) and hearing and eye protection and we could have gotten a rental gun to try, but didn't. We fired off about 150-200 rounds in the revolver (firing 38's in a .357) and my Glock 17 and Glock 43X. The range is safe, clean, well monitored and loud. The help behind the counter was very polite, I did not catch the young man's name, but he well represented the business. Overall, this is a unique and different thing to do, but ammo is scarce nowadays and expensive. read more

I really appreciate this place. I am an older woman, and unlike certain other ranges that shall remain nameless, I feel totally welcome here. I'm new at this and very clueless/curious, and the staff are super-helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with my endless questions. At another place I went to shoot, the staff guys were so dismissive, condescending, and really downright hostile, that I was unwilling to return, even to shoot for free. Shooting at Sharpshooters is like meeting up with old friends, even though I've only been there twice. This is my new range home. Purchased a gun and extra mag two weeks ago. Found the gun, TWO mags, holster and hard case for $111 cheaper at Academy. Called Sharpshooters to see if they would honor that, thinking they might throw in a holster or hard case. Pretty much had a "too bad, so sad" attitude. Maybe if they talked to a man they wouldn't have been so snarky. Didn't appreciate the attitude. They were really nice while we were buying the gun. Go figure. read more
