I purchased a boat from Foothills Marine a couple years ago and have continued to use them for my annual service. from the time we started shopping for a boat we knew Foothills was the place for us. absolutely zero pressure, answered all of our questions throughout the process, had an on water delivery / demo to make sure we were comfortable with our new boat. we have continued to receive the same level of professionalism and expertise from their service department. can't say enough good things about foothills, they are the complete package and we always recommend them to our friends and family. read more

My husband and I took our 2018 Pontoon boat to trade in for a newer boat. Our boat was well taken care of. It did have a miss when you were taking off. We picked out a boat we wanted to trade for. Peyton was the salesman we spoke to. He immediately acted like he did not have time to go over the new boat or discuss the boat we brought in. He was very short and distracted. He told us to call the next day and he would let us know what they would give us for our trade in. My husband called them later the next day and was told Peyton did not work on that specific day. The next day my husband called and Peyton offered $5300. There was no way we were going to take that. Peyton told him that he was more than welcome to come and get our boat and take it somewhere else. Well we did. We went toward Marion. The boat dealership we stopped at offered us $15,000 right on the spot. We traded that day. Paid cash money for our new boat. Beware of them. If you go in dressed as a blue collar worker you will not get good service. read more

Had to take my boat here only because they are an authorized service dealer for Tahoe. The first time I was there I had them add vessel view. When I picked up the boat they told me all of the paperwork is in the boat which I had to ask for from the service manager. They said to follow the directions when you get home and you will be able to connect via an app. My mistake was not having the person do it before I took the boat home. Long story short but I was never able to connect to the app. The second time I came in for another recall I asked them to see why I am not able to connect to vessel view. I was told on the phone that service tech was able to connect. Great. When I picked up the boat three service techs were not able to get it to work so went home without the boat now going on the third week. Now they are telling me that the vessel view which they installed and never worked is no longer in service but they could put a new product on for a fee but they will not charge me for installation. Mind you the service part of installing the product takes maybe 5 minutes so they are doing me a big favor, not. I have emailed, texted and asked to have their service manager Charlie call me so we can discuss this matter but I have not received any communication from him other than to send me an invoice for the work. ***OUT OF STATE BUYERS BEWARE*** I am embarrassed for this company that I even have to write this. I was an out of state buyer who travelled from a few states away to purchase a high-priced bass boat IN APRIL OF 2023. WE ARE NOW A DAY AWAY FROM SEPTEMBER AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THE TITLE TO MY BOAT AND TRAILER SO I CAN REGISTER IT. The following is what has transpired since the day of purchase, and the absolute clownery that has followed. Upon arrival, sale went fine, and BILL HOOPER did his job, had boat ready, looking good, and we went for a test drive to make sure everything was good to go on a nearby lake. So, thank you Bill for having that taken care of. After my time with Bill, I went to see TRACY who works in the finance and paperwork department (She's the only one). I signed documents, and she stated she had all paperwork ready to go for registration in my state with no issues. Tracy then said she would have the mercury warranty transferred over, and I will get documentation in an email when she gets it (never got it until months later, after requesting multiple times via phone and then email). I then stroll into my DMV with all paperwork provided (We all hate DMV) and they informed me that I'm missing the title for boat and trailer along with trailer MSO / Certificate of Origin. 1) I call Tracy and she informs me that she will have it take care of. Two weeks go by, and I hear nothing. 2) I call again, and she stated its coming and she will have it mailed out in a day or so. Two weeks go by and nothing. 3) I call again, she stated it was accidently sent to the state of North Carolina on accident?! and they will have it back in a few days. Tracy stated once received they will overnight it and email the tracking #. Two weeks go by and nothing. Also, I was still requesting the mercury warranty card during all this time. 4) This time, I call and speak to the manager NATHAN DAVIS. I explain my frustration and he promised me that he will get to the bottom of it and get back to me asap. 5) WERE IN JUNE OF 2023 NOW and Nathan texts me that he will have titles in hand and sent to me by next week June 14th. 6) I wait until JULY 6th to send an email to Nathan explaining how I have been misled and lied to multiple times. I also tried to CC the owner, so he is aware of what is happening (unknown if he received). I also still don't have mercury warranty card to show it's in my name still. 7) Nathan responds to my email same day July 6th and states he mailed my titles in the USPS mail with no tracking number, and it was an oversight on their part and that they will already start the process to get a title replacement going. (Basically, it was never mailed). 8) Two weeks go by, and I send another email on July 20th requesting update. Nathan informed me Tracy on short vacation but once titles show up, she will overnight the. 9) I then wait until AUGUST 25th OF 2023 to get an update since I have yet to receive these documents 10) Nathan has yet to respond to the email and it is AUGUST 30TH of 2023 So I sent a follow up email to my follow up email...SMH. 11) APRIL TO SEPTEMBER (5months) is this acceptable to any buyer? Local or out of area? BUYERS beware before you send 80k of your money to this place this is what you're possibly going deal with. I have been very patient in all of this and given them the benefit of the doubt through it all to make it right to a customer, but they have failed at every turn. Which now makes me write this review and plaster it everywhere. All of this is verified, and the company cannot refute these facts. I just want my titles, and what is Foothills Marine going to do to make this right and show me or customers that they care. read more
