Julie (the manager) and her staff, including John and Tiffany, make this location a cut above the rest. I've visited many Planet Fitness locations across the country, and this one is my favorite by far. Every staff member greets me with a smile, knows me by name, and makes me feel like I belong. That welcoming atmosphere has been one of the biggest reasons I've been able to stay consistent on my health journey. Since joining in April 2025, I've lost 45 pounds and gained a lot of strength. What is it with the Ceres Planet fitness? Literally every time I go to this location it is a…read morehorrible experience. Went there today because I had some business to take care of nearby. Went to work out on a machine that had been empty for several minutes. Guy walks up and says that was his machine even though he was on the leg machine and the chest machine and doing curls with the curl bar. He felt that the four pieces of equipment he was using were his own personal circuit of equipment. I told him BS and went ahead and did my set. Problem is that this gym has zero control of their gym floor and every time I go to this location there are issues with people's behavior and staff does nothing. Meanwhile I go to Turlock several times a week for more than Five years without a single incident. Ceres, get your shit together.
