I was nervous about bigger kids accidentally pushing my baby while running around, but it felt comfortable and manageable the whole time. The slides and play structures were really cool and my little one had such a fun time running around and exploring. I especially appreciated that they have a separate toddler/younger kids area which made it feel safer and less overwhelming. As a parent, I noticed the staff did a good job keeping things organized and the overall environment felt pretty clean. There were also plenty of places for parents to sit while still being able to watch their kids play, which I appreciated. But it's either my hubby, I, or the both of us with my baby the whole time. Parking was easy too and check-in was pretty smooth. I do wish the place was a little bigger, but I also understand indoor playgrounds are probably expensive to maintain and operate these days. Overall, it was a fun experience and my baby left tired and happy which is always a win. Would definitely come back. Just wish there was a location closer to Morgan Hill!

Every employee there was smiling and super happy. I don't know how they do it because being around that many screaming, running, excited, energetic kids for hours on end would drive me crazy. Every employee was extremely helpful and courteous and very patient with all those children running around. The bathrooms were clean. The snack area was clean. They cleaned the tables off as soon as people left. I attended a birthday party and the birthday room was the perfect size. Our party room attendant was a super sweetest young man. He was so patient with everyone and did not seem annoyed by all of the screaming and excited kids running in his way while he was doing his job. He brought us everything we asked for with a smile. They are extremely organized. I love the colored wristband method. A child did get hurt while we were there and the employees rushed to help her. They were organized, they weren't frantic or freaking out at all. They had clear communication with each other. Because they were so organized and professional it kept the parents from freaking out and they kept the child relaxed until the ambulance arrived. You could totally tell this was not their first rodeo. Before I got there, I was wondering, would it smell strange because of all the little kids and the sweat, it being an enclosed building and the no shoe thing, but to my surprise, it smelled clean, I didn't see any trash anywhere you can definitely tell that they take pride in this business.

I arrived on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon. High Scores Arcade is located in a nice area off Alvarado street in downtown Monterey. Parking is free and accessible along the streets and the nearby parking lots. The arcade games collection are classic, vintage, and from the 80's-90's. The space is on the smaller side but has just enough video games to look reputable. The decor is vibrant, bright, and playful. In the front is the counter where you purchase your admission, snacks, and alcohol/non alcoholic drinks. The admission is fairly priced. 1 hour of unlimited play is $10.00. All day unlimited play is $22.00. Overall we enjoyed our experience at High Scores Arcade. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The vibe was nostalgic and bustling. It was nice to introduce the games I use to play back in the day and play along side with my son. We hope to be back when we are in the area.
