I heard about Footprints n' More from my sister-in-law who had some prints done as Christmas gifts to our family. She had given us beautiful hand and foot print ornaments for our tree. They are extremely special to us as it is a great keepsake of our sweet Godson when his little 5 month old hand was so tiny. It was not long after that I gave birth to my son at Hoag hospital. A pamphlet was given to me there and I decided to get some prints done as well. We went for our sons first print at 6 weeks old. Sara was patient and kind throughout our entire appt. I had multiple prints done- a golf themed print for my husband for Father's Day, a birth keepsake with one foot and one hand, and the start to a series of prints I will do over the course of the next 3 years. Sara was quick with the baby so he wasn't too fussy. She uses warm wipes so it was really nice for the baby after she took his prints in the cool clay. While she was prepping the clay for baking she made me feel super comfortable so I decided to nurse the baby right there. She even has a rocking chair! So convenient! We chatted for a bit about what our husbands do for a living, how old her kids were etc. She was so friendly and personable. I returned a few weeks later to puck up my prints and discussed when yo get more prints done. She is realistic and mindful of people budgets and even suggests not to do to many prints at one time. She says to space them out over time so I don't have too many of one age. I just thought this was so reasonable of her considering this is her business and how she makes a living. I decided to wait to do more prints at Christmas. Fast forward 9 months, we came back for our Christmas prints. I had her make me these beautiful pearl colored hand prints for all the grandparents and godparents. We got some for ourselves too. I was a tad late on my order but she made sure to fit me in so I could get them before Christmas. She accommodated me by coming on her day off when her daughter was out of school. So kind of her! Fast forward another couple months and my son turned a year old. It was time for the 2nd of my print series I was doing. First was at 6 weeks, next at a year and the third will be when he is 3. The timing was crucial so he could truly be a year old at this appt. I called Sara and asked when he availability was. She was off yo visit her son in college in the next week and we were having trouble to coordinate. I had recently moved to the Inland Empire from Orange County and getting out there was challenging. Sara told me to come in on Sunday when I was meeting my family for family dinner! I was beyond grateful!! Working on a Sunday for me!! We were so glad to have received a gift certificate to this place! Once our baby girl was born we made an appointment to visit Sarah at her shop where she had numerous examples of her work. She went over all the options and was not pushy or trying to upsell in any way. If anything, she was giving her creative input while deciding so that the finished piece was not too busy. When we made our decision, she laid out the fresh clay and gently took the impression of our two week old's hand and foot. She stated, it would take 6-8 weeks for the finished product to be completed and Sarah had it done within that time. Since we were not available right at that time to pick it up, she placed it in a pick up box just outside her office for our convenience later that day. I immediately messaged her to find out where she got them and how I could make an appointment for my daughter. I am so glad I did! I could NOT be happier with the finished products. We got one hand print and three footprints. We will keep one footprint and the handprint, and give a foot print to each set of grandparents. They are absolutely adorable and are heirloom quality. I can't recommend this highly enough. Sarah was awesome with my daughter and got the impressions SO QUICKLY. She wiped off her hand and her feet with a wipe and we were done. That's impressive when you're talking about getting impressions from a 9 week old! Side note: I had tried to make my own footprint with one of the store bought kits and it was difficult and hardly worked. What a waste. For a couple dollars more you can get these professional and perfect impressions. DO IT! You won't regret it. We love Foot Prints and More! I came to Sarah 12 years ago with my first baby. I loved the keepsakes she made, and made it a tradition to get handprints at newborn, 1yr, 3yrs, 5yrs, and 8yrs... for all 4 of my kids!! Over 12 years, that means I rarely go a year without seeing Sarah. Even when we lived abroad, I would have the prints done in the summer and she would hold on to them for months until my husband made it back to the U.S. on a trip to pick them up. She has always been very accommodating and more than reasonable. I am always impressed by her quality of care for both the product and the client. She is very caring and easy to get along with. Need to nurse a baby? Change a poopy diaper? Run a kid to the potty while the others play with the toys in her playroom? No prob! I've done it all! I've posted several pictures of both wet clay and completed projects. My favorite picture is the one that shows all four parent/child handprints for each of my babies! That's an 11yr span and her quality is proven steady over time. There's also a pic of a plaque with all four siblings as they were last summer. I'll be headed in again this summer for the baby's 1yr prints ( we now live out of state, but I insisted we get to CA this summer as we are *due* for more prints)! read more

I am writing this review with much frustration and stress. I wish I can give a zero-star for this business. I received a coupon for a free footprint while taking birthing classes at Hoag. Although we live in LA county, I thought it will be a great keepsake for our baby. 1) Price: I will be posting the picture of a price list. Our subtotal came out to be over $75 for one handprint and a footprint in a heart-shaped clay and a separate handprint. I thought it was quite overpriced but I decided to purchase it anyways since it will be a keepsake for our daughter. I think many parents think the same way. Now that I think about it, I should have shopped around a little more. 2) Customer Service & Flexibility: When I was trying to make an appointment for prints on 2/14, the owner, Sarah, said she won't be available that day because it is her anniversary. Okay... So we chose another date and did the prints. When the prints were ready to pick up, I really wanted to check the prints right then and there so that I do not have to make the drive again to OC from LA county if there are any issues or concerns. She got offended by my question (to see if everything is okay with the prints while she is there in the office). She told me that most clients just pick up the finished product from the pick-up box. I said that is fine but I would really like less than 5 minutes to check if everything is okay with my prints. Then she got really upset and started sending me long harassing texts messages stating how I don't understand her being focused on the quality of the product, how she has forwarded my text messages to her attorney, and how she fears for life and she is planning to seek restraining order against me. I am a very mild person and usually do not offend anyone. I just think she is a bit crazy in her mindset. I will be happy to disclose all the text messages I have received from her for prospective clients. Today I drove from LA county to OC with a crying baby hoping to pick up precious prints. I came home with no prints. I received a text from Sara in the middle of my drive that she would like to offer me a refund - which I responded yes because I really do not like to deal with the stress caused by her. First, she said I can keep the prints. Next, she said if I show up at her office today, I will not get a refund and I would have to sign a waiver. I did not go to her office today. I think she was afraid that I may prevent other prospective clients from doing business with her (she had an appointment with other client at 10am and my pick-up time was supposed to be at 10:30am). I will be waiting for my refund check in the mail but I will have to take legal action if it does not arrive within two weeks timeframe (causing me stress and agony). I am sharing this experience hoping that there will be no disappointing mother of a baby like me. We lost the precious prints because of the crazy owner, Sara. If I were you, I would never to business with Sara. Not worth the money and time. read more

I usually get the single ornament of the foot or hand which is great for having a small keepsake of your child throughout the years.
