I absolutely adore Sarah and the beautiful foot and hand print treasures she has created for my family. I learned about Footprints 'n More during a labor and delivery prep class at Hoag Hospital. Upon meeting Sarah, I asked her about the longstanding relationship she has with the nursing staff at Hoag. She explained that for years she did the hand and foot prints of the babies born still or who passed right after birth (at no cost to the grieving parents). This is not something Sarah discusses openly, but I was moved to tears. What a kind and generous gift to give these parents the hand and foot prints of their beautiful and beloved babies. This generous act just shows you what kind of heart Sarah has. Over the years, she has trained the Hoag nursing staff on how to take the prints. And she finishes the mementos in her studio at her cost. I think that is nothing short of outstanding. I took both of my babies in for their hand and foot prints at ages one month and again at one year. I treasure the beautiful ornaments and plates. Sarah is a gifted artist, and I love her work. My doctor's office displays another artist's hand and foot print plate, so I have a point of reference for comparison, and I can say that nothing compares to the quality of Sarah's work. Sarah is a delight to talk to, and she is brilliant with the babies. My preschooler really enjoyed playing in Sarah's kid friendly studio while his baby brother had his prints done. BEST PLACE EVER!! I was looking for a keepsake and found this place to be just right. I got my daughters footprints done and life got in my way and I never went back to get them. It hurt my heart, I beat myself up for a very long time because I didn't go back and it meant a lot to me to be able to give this gift to my daughter when she was of age to appreciate it. Fast forward. So my daughter now has her own daughter and I'm a very proud grandmother!!! I remembered this place and I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to give this gift to my granddaughter. I live in west LA. We took the drive down to find a wonderfully decorated space, very kid friendly with toys Everywhere, I mean there were so many toys I actually want to get in there with the kids and play. Very warm home like feeling when you walk in, I was impressed. Believe me that's saying a lot!! I was greeted professionally but like I was family. My granddaughter was only 5 weeks at the time and needed to be changed. She had a changing table!! Couldn't believe it!! Very nice feature! My daughter and I were looking at all the decorations and options to choose from there's so many really cool ideas, and there it was. 19 YEARS LATER my daughters footprints were on the wall. I cried! I have known Sarah for almost 18 years now. That's how old my little girl is. I have 18 wonderful, very creative footprints and hand prints of my daughter, my husband, my dog and myself in every configuration and color possible. Sarah is kind, patient and oh so loving with every family that comes to see her. You get a Yorkie to stick its paw in clay! The clay they use for molding is completely safe for your little ones!! My aunt offered to get me a footprint for my first son and we went to another place. With my second son she suggestd we try footprints n' more. We have a collection of prints from 2012 and 2016, and that one already twice! Sarah works very effectively and gently with kids of all ages. Our kids were only a couple days old while we took the first footprints, and Sarah handled it very professionally. Her studio is decorated with a lot's of her work as a great inspiration for color and shape reference. There are toys to play while taking turns, and even a wipe warmer to clean easily and gently after the print is done.
