    Margarita pizza - missing basil
    Olivia S.

My husband and I are in town for a few days. He loves pizza so we decided to check this place out yesterday. We ordered a margarita pizza and a Caesar salad. Our pizza was missing basil and the croutons were burnt. We were extremely disappointed by that. The pizza was good otherwise. The pasta sauce was sweet which is what we like. The salad was just a salad. For the place not being busy, we didn't expect for our order to be wrong.

Probably the best kosher pizza in Miami but it take so long it's completely under staff, 35min for a salad not acceptable.

Shortly after, the manager or owner approached us and said I could not feed her those crackers because they were not kosher. I asked if there was something suitable we could order for her, but options were limited, so we ordered fries, which thankfully came out quickly. We initially wanted to order a smaller steak along with several appetizers, as we enjoy trying a variety of dishes. However, after a lot of back and forth, the server strongly pushed us toward their recommendation instead. We eventually went with it, but the food was mediocre and the sides were very basic. We felt pressured into ordering something we didn't really want. Later, the steak arrived medium rare instead of the medium well we requested, which meant we couldn't give much of it to our baby. Wanting to be respectful, I asked the manager if I could feed her a Serenity-branded baby food pouch. After examining it for a while, he said no -- again because it was not kosher -- with no explanation or alternative offered. Overall, the experience felt rigid and unwelcoming, especially for a family with a baby. The food did not justify the price, and we left feeling that we overpaid for a disappointing and uncomfortable experience.

In my head, it was going to be enormous. A tower. A bucket of fries I couldn't finish. Something that justified the swing. What landed was good. Genuinely good. Homemade patty, proper crust, held together, didn't fight me. Fries were decent. Service was warm and dialed in, no complaints there. But it was a regular burger: regular size, regular plate. The price never crossed my mind until the check did. Ninety dollars for two of these and a Diet Coke. Farmed salmon. Sit with that for a second. The adventure turned into a receipt I had to read twice. And it's the same story across the menu. Everything's priced like it's special, and almost nothing is. The room is fine, the interiors are fine, and "fine" doesn't pay a ninety-dollar tab. The table wobbled throughout the whole meal, which, at these prices, stops being charming and starts feeling like an insult. Good food, bad math. Come if you're curious what a thirty-three-dollar salmon burger looks like. Know going in that it looks like a regular burger that happens to cost thirty-three dollars.

This is nothing like Motek or Abbale, not even close. From the very first bite, my taste buds (and my expectations) were blown away. We came as a girls' night out, sharing plates and ordering "just one more dish"... and then another. The Truffle Wild Mushrooms Polenta was incredibly rich and silky, deeply earthy without feeling heavy. The Pappardelle Tomato was perfectly cooked, vibrant, and comforting in the best way. And the Cabbage "cacio e peppe"? Unexpected, bold, and absolutely addictive. The raw fish dishes were also a highlight, beautifully sliced, ultra-fresh, and paired with bright citrus, herbs, and crunch that elevated the fish without overpowering it. The grilled fish was crisp on the outside, tender inside, and plated with a smooth, flavorful puree that tied everything together effortlessly. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is a whole vibe. As the night goes on, the lights dim, the music comes on, and it transforms into the perfect setting for a stylish dinner that slowly turns into a fun night out with friends. Chic, warm, and energetic without feeling forced. I left wishing I had more room to try the entire menu, but happily signed up for their VIP rewards program (available to everyone), which basically guarantees my return. Next time, it's another girls' night at Neya, and we're coming hungry. If you love Mediterranean inspired cuisine done with precision, creativity, and soul, Neya is a must.

The guy who is the check came over to our table to schmooze( make light conversation- yiddish phrase) to tell me that he thinks I was at his father's wedding in brooklyn in the early 80s...which is entirely possible. Shmooze= banter I went with my former neighbor in chicago and his 3 friends. This is a very popular place as they want you to get a online reservation and not calling on the phone. Although they say it closes at 9pm they wont rush you out at that time.i came late so I was worried about it. I got there at 8:30 , reservation for 8, my friends got there at 8:15....I was glad I let them order instead of me as they ordered the 2 orders of brisket and burned ends and some assorted other meats. Speaking of bbq I would say if you Are a semi bbq aficionado like myself and are in Miami or even Broward come visit this place because it smells just as good as the famous Weber grill in Chicago and that is not an easy feat if you are a kosher bbq chef. . The order came and it just melts in you mouth and if you are cutting it with a fork and knife so you dont feel like a scene from the show "vikings" then it will be very easy to cut.. It's very high class but not pretentious. Good people watching as well. Some guys are taking their wives out and some guys are very religious and are using this as the meal to deal the deal so they can pop the question to the woman they met last week or the week before. Such is dating in the chasidic realm. I wont knock it if I have not tried it :) My sodium level was enhanced and I'm drinking water as we speak for it to be fully restored. Not that it's a bad thing, right. The one thing I would suggest is that they invest in printing up some laminated menus as it is on one page on both sides. It would be much classier than the piece of paper that is handed to me like I might be an 8th grade customer and all i need is a number 2 pencil.

Positives - We were seated immediately which was good because at other places there were long waits. Also, the sweet sauce that went with the brisket was delicious. Negatives - I ordered the half chicken which they ran out of. They substituted the grilled chicken breast instead. Unfortunately it was very dry. I would like to try this place again when it is not as busy.
