    Strawberry Matcha Latte

Sweet girl working the counter. Made sure we were aware of the caffeine when ordering in the afternoon. The matcha latte was hand whisked which is great. The cold brew was a tad bitter for me. The caramel latte was good.

This coffee shop sits up high on a corner. It's beautifullll from the outside looking in. especially at night. However, when you go in it's super tiny! lol the visuals are deceiving but it's still a super nice coffee shop. There's more seating outside than in. I tried a cappuccino and a birthday cake cookie if I'm remembering the name correctly. My coffee was so good and so was the cookie. Instead of it being a cookie, it's more like a biscuit! Please do not expect a soft gooey cookie. Very pleasant taste though. I will go back when I'm in the area for the vibes.

I have been to For Five a couple more times now and tried their food. I was very disappointed. I ordered one of their breakfast sandwiches, which they heat up, and when I got back to my office and took a bite it was still very cold (refrigerated cold, not like room temperature just not warm) and very hard - I literally spit it out into the box and now have nothing to eat. The black coffee is also mid. It's not the worst, but definitely not strong enough.

Went in to grab a cookie and . My 2nd visited , the 1st time I wasn't impressed, so I decided to give it a 2nd look. The or whatever it is , was not coffee. The cookie was hard . Overall, I could just go to Wholefood and buy a packaged cookie mix to throw it in an oven, and it would be 10x better and cheaper. 2 star for cleanliness

I tried the Matcha. The verdict is overpriced and underwhelming. If you like quality Matcha, you will not find that here.

We hoped to find a place that offered decaf coffee since it was late in the day, but really wanted something warm since it was a bit chilly outside. Unfortunately, this location of Toastique does not offer decaf - they only have a single hopper for their coffee, so it is not an offering. We were going to find another place, however, they said how about a hot chocolate or a tea. My friend is vegan and inquired if their hot cocoa was vegan, as most places have dairy in the chocolate. The cashier went to look at the chocolate syrup and also had another person look at it to verify it's vegan. My friend ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk. Even though it was busy, we only waited about 5 minutes for her drink. We appreciated the effort to double check it was vegan, though I do wish they had decaf options.

The bread was too chewy, which made it difficult to bite off because there was no proper angle of attack since the toast was large. With that many toppings, it really should have been pre-cut, especially for a takeout order. I could not even cut it properly with the plastic knife they gave. Flavor-wise, it was fine but underwhelming. The salmon was good, and everything seemed fresh, but the overall balance felt off. The cucumbers were plain, and the toast leaned dry, like it needed more sauce or spread to bring it together. For $18, it felt like a ratios problem more than a quality problem. Overall, it is not bad, but I left a little underwhelmed given the price.

Oftentimes, I don't get enough "crunch" in my acai bowls, so I was very pleased and satisfied with the crunchy texture of this bowl. The granola is homemade and has some chopped nuts (which I believe are almonds), and they added a really nice nutty/savory flavor to the bowl, making it feel more filling. Half (chicken) sandwich and half (mushroom) soup is a good deal. Nothing particularly mind-blowing about these foods, but the soup was hot, and the sandwich warm and satiating. The soup was a bit thin and could be thicker, but the flavors, slightly peppery and salty, were satisfying enough. Service was good and quick. There is a cute patio in the back of the cafe, with plenty of tables and chairs.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich and the rise and shine smoothie. The biscuit, omelette and turkey sausage breakfast sandwich was huge and delicious! If I hadn't been with a colleague I might have eaten every single morsel on my plate. Unfortunate, I had to maintain a modicum of etiquette for the meal. The smoothie was great too, with its nice blend of coffee, banana, chocolate and almond milk. This place is a must visit!
