Stopped in spontaneously on Saturday morning with a friend. Originally came in just for coffee, but we ended up also getting some food. I ordered the Iced Pistachio Latte - Espresso, pistachio, milk, ice, pistachio cold foam and the California Omelet- Egg whites, sauteed kale, mushrooms, avocado. She ordered the Llama Bowl - Organic fair trade acai, bananas, strawberries, 100% pineapple juice, granola, bananas, blueberries, strawberries and the Iced Mango Matcha Latte. Everything was delicious and there were several offerings for my friend who is gluten-free, which was a major plus. The service was great - answered all of our questions, offered suggestions, etc. The serving sizes were good size - I was pleasantly surprised the omelet came with potatoes and toast (there weren't pictures on Yelp yet - so happy I can add one)! I came for the coffee, the private event, and to try the banana cream matcha--but ended up leaving with new friends. Such a great experience! The music playlist always perfection, so you'll find yourself (quickly) signing along to most of the songs while working if you're a music lover. The service is always top tier although the last few times that I've been to the cafe, staff could be more attentive to cleanliness of the place.My favorite meal is the Crabby Patty BLT which comes with a side salad, and a bag of chips (if the server reminds you to grab the chips). Overall, Llama Bar is worth the visit if you're looking for a quick meal and/or coffee/matcha. The first time I came I ordered one of their fall seasonal drinks - a pumpkin cream chai latte. I came back last week to try their sweet potato and quinoa bowl and their banana matcha drink. Again, the drink was entirely too sweet and the banana was too overpowering. What a lovely time! I stopped in here one morning after running some early morning errands in DC and wanting to stop for a quick coffee. Sadly I didn't have a lot of time to try other things on their menu but what I did have was delicious and everything I saw being ordered smelled and looked delicious as well. The vibe of the whole place was very calming and refreshing with lots of plants, natural light and great music! It was definitely a great place to read a book or get some work done. I liked the latte, however, I do wish the cookie butter flavor was more apparent. The Wagyu chopped cheese good. The meat was juicy, but just average. It is a nice portion size so it was very filling. I stopped by another day to try the strawberries n' cream latte. This latte was a miss for me. The top strawberry foam tastes great but when you mix it into the coffee, the flavor begin to muddle and don't go well together. Overall, I like the cafe. Love the vibes here at Llama Bar. I've tried their cookie butter latte and their banana cream matcha latte. Both had the right about of sweetness. It's very cute and cozy in here but also provides the right amount of space. I've also had their cocktails I can't remember the name of the tequila cocktail it had some sort of vanilla liqueur, which I wasn't sure how that would taste but surprisingly it worked! I also had their espresso martini which I thought was pretty basic and standard. Not bad, if you enjoy espresso martinis you'll enjoy this however I did think as a coffee shot they would perhaps put a unique spin on it.
