S BACON, EGG, AND CHEESE Banana Bread Latte
    Maya B.

I've visited the Baltimore location so I thought I'd check out this one. This is a great place to work from home. There are so many tables inside along with plenty of treasured outlets. In fact, I'd say most people are working so they don't keep the music too loud which I really loved. The baristas were also friendly! In terms of what I ordered, I tried the scallion pancake bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was delectable! Perfectly crispy and just a bit oily, but I didn't mind. They even gave you hand wipes on your plate. I thought for $10, the size could have been a little bigger. I'd still order it again. Now, the banana bread iced latte! As someone who likes sweet drinks, it was the perfect latte. It's difficult to find parking here and once you do find parking it's very expensive so unfortunately I don't know how often I'll be back. Overall, really enjoyed this cafe!

Visited this cafe while waiting for a Washington Spirit game on a Sunday late afternoon. The space has quite a few tables and it wasn't that packed so me and my friend got seated easily. The servers were very nice and attentive and even helped us close the blinds when the sun was shining too much from the windows. My friend and I both got the general tso's chicken sando. The scallion pancake was perfectly crispy and thin and the marinade on the chicken was rich and delicious. Would definitely visit again!

This is one of my favorite cafes in the DC area! They have more of an Asian take when it comes to food and drinks, which reminds me of home. I get various stuff, ranging from pastries to sandwiches. The service is always A+ quality too, I always talk to friendly employees who want to help me order. However, one of my favorite things about this place is that this is one of the few places in DC that truly feels like a cafe. Clean, quiet, respectful. Definitely recommend folks to swing by!

Had a lovely lunch here with some international family after a day of walking in DC. This spot was a little bit expensive, but the ambiance and food were amazing. The worker even spoke some French to accommodate my French family which was extremely thoughtful and kind. I ordered a club sandwich which came on a scallion pancake (crispy and delicious) and a cherry blossom iced latte (espresso was a little bitter). Our food was brought to us without even needing a table number (great memory by the person taking our order). I'm pretty sure this cafe is connected to either a hotel or apartment building. There is lots of great seating and it wasn't too busy when we ate around 3pm. Terrific experience and I would highly recommend!

This place is SUUUUCH a cute vibe! Various types of seating and is cozy but spacious so pretty versatile... like it would be cute for a date and also great for teleworking! The breakfast sandwich was interesting... like a deep fried tortilla with stuff inside... I think it would be much better with cheddar cheese instead of American. I'd prob get a pastry next time - those look amazing. And lots of coffee options, but quite pricey. An iced mocha was more than $7! It was yummy tho! I'd go back!

Any Day Now has a little something for everyone. Good food if you're there for a meal, good coffee and espresso drinks if you want more of a cafe experience. Plenty of seating from counter top to table to lounge style chairs. And yes, free WiFi. I had a Vietnamese iced coffee with ube and loved it, the espresso tasted great and the ube was a nice touch without overpowering the taste. I also had one of the breakfast scallion pancake sandwiches, super interesting! The scallion pancake served as the "bread" and was itself very tasty. It was a nice, relatively light meal, and the kimchi I added gave it another burst of flavor. I'd definitely come back here, great spot for food, drinks, and a little work.

Good food, coffee, free WiFi and ample seating? This coffee shop never disappoints! Whether you're coming for breakfast or lunch it's the perfect spot to work remotely, catch up with friends over coffee or chill and read a book. Also, the sandwiches are amazing and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Great spot!

ABSOLUTE YUMMMMMM. Went with a friend since this has been on our NEED TO TRY list for so long Brown butter sage caramel latte 9/10. The barista was so kind and recommended to get it hot so I did and it was gas. General tso chicken sando on scallion pancake. 9.5/10 like wowowowo no notes. Ts was so gas I ate that up. The scallion pancake was perfect and crispy. Flavor on point. Miso Mac and cheese to share: 9/10 this was also amazing. Chunks of like sausage? In it was a great touch. Iced Ube Vietnamese coffee was amazingggg. Maple pork bfast sandwich on a scallion pancake- chili oil was rly good and loved the pancake- the only thing was the sausage was kinda overpowering. The setting was great for getting work done, doing meetings, or just a casual place to relax and hangout. Will come again and not too far of a walk from the metro!

I came to Any Day Now to do interview prep for a big interview. I have not been called back for a second round yet, so take that however you'd like. That said, if my focus slipped at all, it was only because this place is genuinely cute and very easy to settle into. It feels like the kind of coffee shop where you can stay for a while without feeling rushed or awkward about it. The seating setup is ideal if you actually plan to be productive. There is a couch for lounging, tables if you want to spread out, and counter seating if you are more in and out. It strikes that rare balance of feeling cozy without being cramped and energetic without being distracting. A great spot for thinking through answers, calming nerves, or just pretending you are the main character with a notebook and coffee. I went for breakfast and ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee with ube, which was excellent. It was sweet but not overly sweet, balanced, and honestly very drinkable. The ube added depth without turning it into dessert, which I appreciated since I was there to function, not spiral into a sugar crash. For food, I got their breakfast scallion pancake sandwich, vegetarian, no kimchi. I love kimchi, but only when it is grilled, and I did not want to risk it mid prep session. The sandwich was scallion pancake, steamed fluffy egg, and cheese, and it was delicious. Simple, comforting, and satisfying. It comes with a side of chili crisp, which added just the right amount of heat and texture. Interview outcome pending, but the coffee and breakfast absolutely delivered.

I had my first experience at this coffee shop and truly enjoyed my experience from the friendly staff and service. I ordered an ice vanilla latte & coffee cake muffin that was sooo yummy! They have plenty of seating available whether at a table, bar, and sitting chairs. This place had great energy and was filled with people. I can't wait to visit again.

Went with friends to work for the day. Cute shop with ample seating, strong WiFi, and plenty of outlets to plug in. My first time and I will def be back for remote working! Seating is open and you order at the counter. For lunch I ordered the chicken club sandwich and loved that they come on scallion pancakes, and the pancakes are cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the General Tso's sandwich and enjoyed it as well (check the empty plates)! They have breakfast sandwiches too if that's more your speed. I had an iced vanilla latte with oat milk to drink - bc we always need caffeine) which was also sweetened well, delicious, and needed no additives. The only complaint would be that we had to ask for water while sitting at the bar all day (10a - 5pm), and the music selection prior to 4pm, but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable when I asked for recommendations. They have a happy hour (not sure when it starts) and I had a glass of wine and my friend had an espresso martini that had too much espresso.

Ube Viet iced coffee and matcha latte
    Lisa T.

The food here is good, but everything is oily. All their scallion pancake wraps have cheese in them. There's even cheese in the eggs, which is a bit strange. So this place doesn't have many options for vegans or people who are lactose intolerant. The service was fine. The person taking out order spoke very fast, which was a bit difficult to understand. The matcha latte was good. The ube Vietnamese coffee was also pretty good. The food and drinks here weren't extraordinary. The restaurant is clean and had lots of open space for people to work.

Even though we got our drinks and food to go, I couldn't help but admire the cute ceramics and overall aesthetic of the space. I ordered the lavender latte, which was good but didn't completely wow me. My husband and I also shared the bread pudding, and that was definitely the highlight. He gave it a 9/10, and I'd have to agree, it was delicious and the perfect treat to enjoy while walking around the pier. One thing to note is that prices are definitely on the higher side. I noticed the avocado toast was around $18, and while it looked nice, it didn't seem particularly special for the price. Overall, a very cute café with a great atmosphere and an excellent bread pudding. A lovely stop while visiting the Wharf.

Total came out to approximately $55. What's hot - Menu. Good variety and there appears to be something for everyone, even possibly vegans. There are sweet and savory options, eggs, french toast, salads, sandwiches, etc... - Quality. Excellent! All 3 of us really enjoyed the food that we ordered. Their french toast and omelettes are delicious. My husband particularly liked the maple syrup that was served with his french toast, because the maple flavor tasted a bit stronger than your average maple syrup. Their pastries are also delicious! Soft, good texture and not too sweet. Given the softness, my best guess is that their sweet treats are recently made. - Service. Pretty good. We did not wait very long for our orders to be ready. The hot foods, like the omelettes, french toast, and drinks, appear to be freshly made. - Price. Good value for money, given the quality and portions. - Location. Convenient location in D.C. However, given the location, be prepared for it to get busy quickly, which means decent lines and wait times. What's not - Interior space. Very tight squeeze inside. There are tables and chairs inside, but their biggest tables can only fit 4 people. If you have children with a stroller or whatever, be prepared to not have room inside. They have outside seating, but that's only conducive to when the weather is warm. This place appears to be popular, which means it can get packed very quickly and seating can be difficult to find. - Acoustics. They play relatively loud music inside, which makes it difficult to have conversations with those you're with. That the interior is small, the music travels easily, which does not help. - Omelette. Even though I liked the flavor of my omelette, it was rather thin. I prefer my omelette to be more weighty/fluffy in texture. Additionally, cheese is not automatically included with the omelette. I ordered mushrooms, red peppers, spinach, and bacon in my omelette. I mistakenly believed cheese was automatically included, but I was wrong. - Parking. Is not easy to find given the location. There is street parking, but it's very difficult to come by. Final Answer Would like to come back, but probably not a first choice given the tight squeeze of the interior. If I do return, would more likely than not order takeaway.
