I was originally looking for a day of coordinator, but what I got with ABC was more than I could have dreamed of. I was paired with the planner Sherry on Kauai and before the 3 month take over...she was very involved and supportive. We got to have as many meetings as I needed. She guided me through the process. When she took over it was incredible because that's exactly when I needed to focus on other things. She contacted vendors and made sure we were on time with payments. Wedding day was incredible! Went off without a hitch. If there were any problems - I don't know about them because she just handled it all with her team. She coordinates and communicates so well. Sherry is the calming energy a bride needs on the big day allowing you to just relax and enjoy. An angel of a human! Her assistants Julie and Alyssa constantly came up to me during the wedding handing me water, food, whatever I needed! ABC arrives first and stays last to make sure everything is taken care of with vendors and the venue. My biggest advice to brides is to get help planning...especially for those planning a wedding in Hawaii from the mainland. ABC will have your back through it all. I was told throughout the planning, leading up to the moment that we were married, how relaxed I was and such an easy-going bride. Part of that was because I had her as our minister. Planning a wedding when you aren't there, can be daunting... but that is where Ms. Kube comes in. Granted it was a small ceremony with only 7 of us total, but there are beach permits to file for, flowers, etc that needed to be done. I first contacted Christine about 8 months before the wedding and I knew immediately that she was going to make this a breeze. We used one of her packages that includes a photographer (Images by Liz) and I would recommend budgeting for this cost. The package is affordable and you are going to be in paradise so you will want to document it. The basic package includes lei for you and your partner, a champagne/cider toast, beach permit, and minister; but you can add to that by including a cake, a musician, hair/make up.. etc. She was able to answer any and all questions I had about Kauai whether it was regarding the wedding or if she knew of the best food truck in Koloa (it is Kauai Food Truck btw). There are 3 ceremonies to choose from; so if you are religious or not at all, or prefer something more Hawaiian, she has them. We were married at Shipwreck Beach at mid-morning (a great time as it was still deserted somewhat), and it was actually a warm day. The ceremony was short and sweet (15 min tops) and then the photographer takes over for the next 45min-1hr.

My wife and I decided to elope to Kauai, and after doing some research, we contacted Aloha Ever After, we first spoke to Nicolle, who was very helpful, polite & attentive to our wishes, I liked that she listened to what we had in mind and didn't try to steer us in different directions. I also liked the follow up emails and videos from Timory, Their organization made all of the planning go so smooth and easy. On the big day, the weather was a little unstable, "No panic needed", As we sat in the parking lot praying for the weather to clear, we spoke with Joel & Timory, who had several ideas for alternatives in case the rain persisted. moments later, our wishes and prayers were answered, the sky cleared enough to proceed and not only did we manage to enjoy an amazing and beautiful ceremony, complete with the traditional Hawaiin Lei swap and sand ceremony, But we felt like we were blessed with several miracles during the wedding, In the bay near our "I Do" location, Our photographer (Timory) noticed and pointed out a manta ray, which she said she had never seen in all of her years of performing weddings on that beach! when I asked at our restaurant that evening, our waiter couldn't believe it either, he stated he was born and raised there and had never seen a manta ray either! then rainbows were popping up all around us and the sky cleared to make way for an amazing sunset and many more great photos! I wanted to take pictures in the McBride Botanical Gardens. A few days before the event I received an email with instructions and "what if it rains" options. The morning of our shoot, it was raining. Timory called the gardens to make sure it was in fact raining there. Different parts of the island rain at different times. She wanted to make sure before she rescheduled. We rescheduled for a few days later. Good plan. It was a beautiful day. She arrived on time, and was flexible with our time and a second event she was working at. She was fair with our pricing as we went over our one hour agreement. The photo's arrived via email and download a few days later and they were just what I was hoping for! I would use this company again down the road. Very nice and made my kids comfortable during the photo shoot!

To be honest, I was skeptical about needing a videographer, but after seeing just our highlight video alone, I couldn't imagine not having had Michelle there (in fact, I wish we had her stay longer!). Capturing the words of our ceremony, the cocktail reception, our guests reactions when we entered the tent for the first time, the surprise hula I did for my husband, our first dance, and all of the other sounds and words of happiness was so important to me. But the magic really happens during the editing process, and Michelle did a superior job. She blended wonderful moments, words and music together seamlessly, creating a beautiful story of our special day. Not only was the video she produced top-notch, Michelle was on time, professional, and completely inconspicuous (most of our guests saw the video and responded by saying, first, that it brought tears to their eyes and second, that they didn't even realize that we had a videographer there!). No small feat considering all of the cameras etc. that Michelle had with her that day. She was easy to communicate with both before and after the event, and finished our video quickly. When we received our hard-copy video in the mail, it was beautifully and thoughtfully wrapped with a hand-written note from Michelle and stunning still photos she took out from the video that were framed in the leather CD case the disc was in.
