Then Covid came and our wedding was cancelled by the venue (he worked for the venue) and we were directed to him when contacting the venue. After that, we reached out to Enoch to have our deposit refunded. Considering no work for the wedding had been done yet. 0 decisions made. Nothing outside of the deposit to secure the date. He agreed to our request but asked if we would wait until business was better for him as Covid had his him hard. He was a nice guy so we happily obliged. Well after that he has been 100% unresponsive to all calls, email, or Instagram messages (he is active on there). It has now been 3 years and we assume we will never get our money back or and services from him. I would highly recommend against using his services regardless of any positive reviews you see. I have no doubt he may put on a good wedding, but businesses that steal money should never be trusted. I would be happy to update this if he ever reached back out to me. I really do feel he is a nice guy, but I doubt he will ever reach back out to correct his mistake.

When my wife and I decided to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we had no clue where to start. I started out researching photographers and ministers, when I contacted Aloha Ever After and spoke with Timory, I just knew this was the right company and the right people to make our wedding the best it could be. We set our wedding date for Dec.9,2018. (I know, I unintentionally procrastinated with my review.) But our experience was phenomenal and the memory stays with us every day. Timory did an incredible job helping us with information to get the marriage license, flowers, suggested accommodations in the area and even provided great options for the ceremony. after seeing Shipwrecks Beach, we chose that as the place to start our new life. We arranged to have her partner/Husband Joel perform the ceremony and Timory on photography. They were both awesome to work with, in tune with our wishes and exceptional with assisting us the whole way. The ceremony was beautiful, we did a sand ceremony as well and all of the photos were absolutely breathtaking! One of my outstanding memories during the ceremony was Timory asking us to pause briefly to look into the ocean, there was a Manta Ray lingering just off the beach, in front of our location, she said that was a rare occurance at that beach, in fact, she said she hadn't seen that in 20 years of performing weddings at that beach, the locals at the Tidepools restaurant all concurred and didn't believe it until I showed them the photo. we chalked it up as the spirit of our lost loved ones joining our special moment. that was super cool to experience. I truly can't say enough about Aloha Ever After, The prices were more than reasonable, the help with planning was priceless, the team of Timory and Joel and the overall experience is something I'll never forget. We've returned once to revisit for our anniversary and to reflect on the memories. We hope to go again someday to renew our vows and you know my first call will be to Aloha Ever After! Thank You for a job well done!

Living in the Bay Area, we did not have the time or money to make repeated trips to Hawaii while planning the wedding. We needed a coordinator who could take our ideas and turn them into reality. Jill is very well-connected to the island community in Kauai - when we needed something, she could get it. It didn't matter if we were looking for a place to eat, a projector or something completely random. Once we selected our vendors, Jill acted as our single point of contact, greatly simplifying the planning process. Jill is also extremely accessible, both by e-mail and telephone. She maintains a spreadsheet with a breakdown of the ceremony and reception details, including price, so it is easy for couples to figure out what tasks remain unfinished (or unaffordable). I don't think any wedding is stress-free, but Wedding in Paradise made our wedding as low-stress as possible.

After a lot of stress and frustration we decided that Kauai was our dream location and we decided that we wanted just 20 of our closest friends and family present for our big day. The ceremony was absolutely phenomenal and exactly what we always dreamed of. Jill is amazing at what she does, she made the entire experience special and stress free and all about my husband and I. The value of her service does not even come close to covering the type of first class service and planning that she provides. We were on a tight budget and never once did she make me feel like we were any less important. There was no funny business or attempts at upselling us, she only made adjustments when requested by us. We planned the entire thing via email and phone calls from the Bay Area and after the experience I felt like I knew her and she was a friend. One week prior to the wedding, my husbands father passed away unexpectedly. I reached out to Jill and let her know the situation and that we would like to do something special to remember him. On the day of our wedding, Jill came with a beautiful memorial lei for his father and added a small memorial ceremony into the plans. She did this all complimentary and without a single added fee, we were shocked to discover that and will be forever grateful to her. I would recommend Jill Kosen and Wedding in Paradise to anyone that told me that they are getting married on the island of Kauai, she made our dream a reality and she is the BEST at what she does.

We found Marie and her team through a venue recommendation, and from our very first call, we knew we were in the best hands. Planning a destination wedding in just six months felt daunting--especially from the mainland--but Marie made it all feel doable (and even fun!). She was incredibly organized, responsive, and proactive from day one. Within hours of our first conversation, she was checking vendor availability and getting the ball rolling. She answered every question quickly, gave honest and thoughtful advice, and truly helped us stay grounded in our vision and budget. Marie only works with top-tier vendors--every person she recommended, from catering to florals to lighting, delivered above and beyond. And on the day of the wedding, she and her team handled every detail so we could be fully present and soak it all in. There were so many moments where Marie went above and beyond. At one point, when I had a small wardrobe mishap, she pulled out a sewing kit and helped fix it without missing a beat--just one example of how calm, prepared, and thoughtful she is. If you're planning a wedding in Kauai and want someone who will bring professionalism, creativity, and genuine care to the process, look no further than LEK Events. We're forever grateful for Marie and her team.

My biggest complaint: My husband didn't get his promenade. Our special ring bearer, his father, the groom and the groomsman didn't get their moment/ promenade either. NOTHING was as we rehearsed it the evening before during the rehearsal . What was the point? The men did NOT get any structure, guidelines or assistance on the day of the wedding. What's the reason for paying a second person at the ceremony site if that person doesn't assist and direct half the wedding party?! The groom wandered up to the front after waiting for some direction.... But nothing. He was so disappointed. She is not flexible or accommodating: She also insists on communicating via email- she barely calls or texts. Despite me telling her I don't operate that way. She doesn't care. She does whatever is easiest for her. I felt like she only wanted to make her job as easy as possible. Be prepared brides and grooms to fill out endless spreadsheets. She bragged about her timeline, it was suppose to be a slick and smooth operation. I felt like I needed her to keep things running smoothly, I was wrong. If you want to do a lot of work by yourself and pay her way too much to be rude to your vendors, (the videographers and photographers whom I flew in from Texas, both complained about her giving the wrong time tables multiple times and being difficult) and have her mess up your wedding day, be my guest. I refuse contact. Don't reach out to me. This bridge is burned.
