I developed a brand called "boobtique" for women to get what they need for their breast cancer journey when they don't know what they need. I'm still completing my brand with my wellness studio in Ballwin called Elevate wellness studio as well as owning two OsteoStrong facilities in the St. Louis area. I am also a portrait of hope for the ACS. In April 2026 I needed another reconstruction and went to Ann's bra shop 3 days after surgery to get the bra(s) I needed. I told my husband on the way there - I just want you with me to help me - I know what we need and I don't want anyone else helping us; you're my support system and I want you with me. He said. "Ok. I got you!" NOBODY greeted us when we talked in. NOBODY asked us if we needed help. NOBODY told us where fitting rooms were. We chose 4 bras and went into the dressing rooms that appeared open to the public. My husband helped me and then when I needed a different size he went to go get it for me. This is a very emotional time for a woman and scars and lack of mobility are a real thing. They told my husband he had to leave the dressing room after they came in with I had no clothes on my upper body. They didn't ask to come in or anything. They made my husband leave. I sat down on the bench all alone in the dressing room. I started breaking down into tears bc I didn't want to feel alone and I didn't want a stranger to help me. I needed my husband who was my support system. We were not told there was a special private room. We were not told anything. I bought one bra, simply because it was the day before Easter and I needed one to wear to church tomorrow that wasn't uncomfortable and now I'll buy the rest elsewhere. I was left feeling alone, sad and unsupported and no questions were asked on how to make me feel more comfortable. I will never be back. I own my own business where I deal with survivors all the time and I will not refer anyone your way because you do not make me feel comfortable or supported. I do not need a response from you defending yourself - I wasn't greeted at your facility, I didn't know the protocol and nobody asked if we needed help. I suggest you work on your company culture. I've been aware of Ann's Bra Shop for many years, but had never been there. I knew from friends that they were very helpful. I finally went there! There was a sign in sheet for those who needed help with a fitting as opposed to those just shopping. I signed in and only had to wait a few minutes before someone was available to help me. I was asked what I needed help with and I explained my needs and likes/dislikes. I was taken to a dressing room and measured. Then I was brought literally the perfect bra for me! I was very impressed! The bras needed to be ordered so we took care of that and we were finished. I couldn't believe how fast and easy the whole process was! I was also really surprised at how many bras and swimsuits were in the store! I would be really surprised if someone couldn't find a bra there that worked for them. I…read morehad lost 100 pounds over the course of our relationship and was super nervous to have boudoir photos done because of how embarrassed I was by the loose skin that I had all over my body. I imagined options for outfits and poses would be very limited, and I would spend the whole time nervous as heck and hating myself. The super detailed instructions to prepare for the session were the first thing to set my mind at ease. I was glad to know I only had to personally bring SOME of the outfits I wanted to wear but that there was a full wardrobe of varying sizes waiting for me. I was greeted on the morning of the shoot by one of her kitty cats, which immediately made me feel more at ease. The conversation held between myself, Alecia, and the make-up artist that morning to determine the kind of photos we wanted to shoot was eye-opening and very information, though I felt like a shy newbie not having the answer on-hand when I showed up. Alecia used creative methods to get me the best shots possible and made me feel more at ease throughout the course of the day by cracking jokes to make me laugh and just have general conversation about shared interests (specifically pet birds). By the end of the day, I had come to love how my body was portrayed in a way I never knew was possible. The directions she gave throughout the shoot were kind and specific so that she got the exact bodily post and expression that she needed. My husband could not have been happier with the photos, and I will always cherish the self-esteem boost I left with. The second shoot I had was vastly different than my first. It took place in early 2022 while I was still scared witless about catching COVID-19. She had a process in place requiring each client to take a rapid test in their car prior to the session to confirm a negative result. This made me feel much safer considering she was the first person  outside my family and close friends that I would spend a day around maskless since the pandemic began.  Some relevant background information includes something that developed over the course of time since the initial photoshoot: this included the onset of chronic (nearly constant) pain in my neck, shoulders, and upper and lower back that is greatly flared by too much motion of my joints that were weakened by illness and major surgery recovery. I was nervous as all get-out to reach out to Alecia to see if I could request a session (via one of her model-calls on her Facebook page) thinking that I would be too hard to work with due to my physical limitations. Remembering how much I had to move or bend during the first session, I thought it would be impossible to have a similar experience again. My weak and painful body had driven me to hatred and depression because my body had all but given up on me. I had also put on a teensy bit of weight due to my inability to exercise. Alecia assured me that she could work with me to show me that my body wasn't to be hated and was confident that she could use feedback given by myself during the session to ensure she didn't cause an excess of pain. She ended up discussing my changing life situation while makeup and hair were being handled. Not only did she make me feel like a "normal" person regardless of my illnesses and pain, she made sure I knew that she saw me as no less of a woman or model. She did a lot of moving and shifting to accommodate my decreased abilities of motion and took my inability to stand for long periods of count all into ability when choosing the outfits and poses. We even made a sort of silly game out of taking water breaks since I am required to drink far more water than most people; she was sure to take a water break whenever I did and made sure I ate when I needed to. I was so shocked by the resulting images and felt like she helped me along the first step of accepting my new disability by taking myself for how I am and not just hating my own existence. I know this may seem like a little much to come out of a boudoir photography session, but she has a magical way of seeing everyone she photographs the way they need to be and deserve to be seen. I am already saving up for my next photo shoot! The first one was for my significant other, but all additional ones are purely for me!

Absolutely terrible experience at Victoria's Secret. I came in to return a bra I had just purchased…read moreless than a week ago. I had proof of purchase on my bank statement and two witnesses who were with me when I bought it, but the store manager, Nicole, refused to process the return because it didn't have a tag. She was argumentative from the start, dismissive, and completely unhelpful She refused to do the return because there was no tab on one of them so she was only willing to do the return for one of them even though I explained that is exactly how I bought it and they had to use the walkie-talkie to get numbers for my original purchase. I even asked if they could look at the receipt. When I tried to place a separate order for some underwear, Nicole demanded an email address. I explained several times that I do not have a working email I can use and asked if we could bypass it or use a generic email as long as I had a receipt. I explained that both of my emails are full and so it would bounce back and she again got an attitude. I told her I was even willing to show her. She refused again, so I canceled the order. She then got an attitude, told me to leave the store, and acted like I was being difficult just because I don't have something to give that I literally do not have. To make it worse, they tried to return my $55 bras for only $33 and refused to look up the actual receipt like I asked. As I left, Nicole and another employee stood behind the counter talking about me and giving me dirty looks. I'm six months pregnant, and the way I was treated was completely uncalled for. I remained calm, but the hostility and disrespect I received were absolutely unacceptable. I left feeling completely disrespected, talked down to, and honestly targeted, for being assertive or maybe just for being visibly pregnant. Do better, Victoria's Secret. Your customers deserve basic respect, especially from your store managers.

In my opinion this company caters more to the Pink franchise and gives bare minimum energy to VS. Everybody does not want Pink clothes, accessories, shoes etc. Pink inventory is so massive it trickles over to space in VS that could be more inventory for the brand ! With that being said sales were through out the store today but I just window shopped and I'll go online and see if they have inventory online that suits my needs. The clearance section I browsed had different sizes of clothes , so im guessing it's the returns that online shoppers bring back to refund. I really hope ONE day online shoppers can actually come in store to try on clothes as well and utilize the great door busters and one day sales has to offer.
