Joyce, you're in Hawaii. Why are you at a Target?…read more I needed cheap water, okay? The first night after my flight, I bought water for $6. Here at Target? It was $2. Leave me alone! Is this Target in the World's Largest Outdoor Mall? Yes! It's kind of odd but it serves its purpose. I got some Hawaiian Islands Tea for a friend here who had requested it as a souvenir that I wasn't able to find at ABC Stores so it was perfect. I forgot that Hawaii has a strict statewide ban on single-use plastic bags at checkout. Most retailers do not provide bags, or they charge for reusable/paper bags. At Target, you can buy a cool bag that says "Mahalo." "Life is short ― buy the bag."

Their selection of supermarket items is impressive and the store itself is convenient as a one-stop shop for other things such as toiletries, kitchen supplies, pharmaceutical items, and much more. The aisles are wide so as not to disturb other shoppers and vice versa. It is clean and the store has two levels. I park near the online pick up parking area and am able to wheel my shopping cart right up to my vehicle. I have never experienced anything but courtesy from their staff at checkout which is a breath of fresh air compared to other supermarkets such as Whole Foods and Safeway. Their prices are competitive/reasonable as well.

Located on Waikiki next to the ABC store…read more This is one of the best ross stores i have been in travel wise! Clean bathrooms and designer shades on deck! They also sell many hawaii based souvenirs here. I have bought many items throughout my stay here in hawaii and my favorite purchases were the flower earrings which is form of plumerias for $6.99! Price wise some items I have scored for really cheap - cheaper than swap meet prices. Examples are clothing on the clearance rack. Scored items as low as $4.99! Customer service here is decent. They are helpful with assistance if needed. So the items you will find here "Hawaiian" based - are keychains, deck of cards, boxed christmas cards, boxed cards, hawaiian attire sets for man/woman/child, bathing suits, pareos (swim wraps), hawaiian dresses, hawaiian male shirts, tote bags, lunch boxes, luggage tags and straps, neck pillows, quilt sets / blankets, ornaments, snacks, hawaiian car solar boppers (ex: hawaiian hula girl), puzzles, 3d lego like small toys, stuffies / plushies, jewelry (wood, earrings, bracelets, necklaces) , mugs, luggages were the items I saw while my stay. This is a 2 story store the restrooms are upstairs - which is btw clean. The dressing dept staff stated that the store manager checks on the restrooms every hour for cleanliness. They charge for bags here when you purchase items - be mindful. So make sure you bring your reusable bags or you will be charged for bags. Hawaii now charges bags in most stores when you purchase items.

This macys only has a few sections of jewelry, swimwear, cosmetics. However they carry one of the best deals on clothing and swimwear here! ROSS is my top fave but thats another review LOL You come here for mark downs! Scored a 2 pc crochet robe/pant set to wear with bathing suit underneath for under $40 , peek a boo dress for $10 with that purchase scored a $10 coupon - went to ala moana and scored a $7 maxi strap dress with using the $10 coupon. They also had $4.96 INC earrings sale stash in the jewelry section. You can still get coupons even without a Macys CC all you need is a phone number. Five stars for the deals here but not so much of the categories they have inside the store.

As I politely asked the gentleman in the back cash register counter for the code, he waved his hand at me and said "I'm with a customer right now." I stood there and waited thinking that he would give me the code and go quickly back to the other customer, but he decided to make me wait, and wait, and wait. After standing there 2 feet away from him for 2 minutes, without even looking again in my direction, I gave up. The choice to ignore someone is beyond just rude... it's a personal choice to insult someone. Time to do a full reset on your customer service Macy's Waikiki!!

Over the years I have gotten a bed quilt, little gadgets and a lot of household items. They have a wide range of items from Korea. Not too many places carry many products from Korea. Some items might be pricey compared items you may find at Daiso from Japan. Korea products are well made. I'm not sure when they are closing, but I want to shop one more time before they close. They have a sale so perfect time to check them out if you haven't been there! It's on Beretania Street on the right side between Kalakaua Avenue and Makiki St ! It's in an old car repair place. Thank you Woorimart ! It was fun shopping there!

Terry K. wanted to buy some tea cups for an upcoming Yelp UYE, and we had time after lunch so I…read moreoffered to take her to look at some places where they might be sold. She had gone to Daiso on Piikoi but had heard that they recently opened a location downtown on Hotel Street. So off we went. After finding parking on Bethel Street, we walked a couple blocks mauka and spotted the new store. Terry found a few tea cups but needed more. Next we drove over to the Daiso on Piikoi where Terry had purchased a few cups recently, hoping they had restocked. No such luck. So we drove over to Woori Mart which is a Korean home goods store. Neither Terry nor I had been there before but it has great street frontage visibility on Beretania just past Kalakaua Avenue, so when Terry said she wanted to look there, I knew exactly where it was, despite the strange name. The store has ample parking on the right side of the driveway as you enter the property. IIRC, that warehouse used to house an auto dealership in the glory days of auto sales. Now it houses a Korean version of a mini IKEA. There were no customers in the store when we got there and I had an eerie feeling in the virtually empty store like we would be rushed by zombies from the "Train to Busan". Happy that the zombies were not gnawing on our legs, I still maintained my alertness because the strong vibe continued. We acknowledged, then ignored the two employees as they ignored us, but I still kept them in my peripheral vision while Terry milled around the aisles for her vials. Yups, her cups. And then it happened. The conversation between the two employees became a little agitated and their voices climbed an octave. So I moved around to the side just in time to see one of the employees semi-flail her arms and then take a couple hops like a bunny on its hind legs. I was a little taken aback but not shocked because it looked harmless like she was excising herself from the slightly malevolent spirits of boredom after working there almost all day. But I was not sure because I did not want to look directly into her eyes. It was at that point that I realized my camera had not eaten so having missed recording that moment, I decided to take shots of the interior. As I turned toward the door to compose my shot, two Korean women walked in and turned right to the back of the store where towels, blankets and mattresses were displayed. If anywhere, I thought, that would be where the zombies would be sleeping, waiting to attack. But the eerie feeling was gone. There were no zombies in the store, and very few customers. And soon Woori Mart may be gone as well.
