Had a few various slices: Sopressatta, funghi, bacon and maple syrup (very sweet), and plain. All were just ok, tops done nicely bottom is wet and floppy. Pies are about 12" also. So dont thing its a huge pie. Need 4 pies to equate to one normal pie. So be prepared to pay about 60-80 bucks to feed what would be a normal pizzeria pie. The white bean dip was very good as were the spicy olives. The places sits about 7 people at the counter and a few at the table. but pretty cramped. There is outdoor seating but that doesn't work in the winter. Talk to the owner but can't really get a straight answer from talking about the oven and the ingredients. read more

Apparently some folks in our society can't follow rules. They have expressed this by posting negative reviews and giving 1 Star reviews to a 5 Star establishment. I know I know you we treated badly or you were hung up on, yada yada yada. You are not savvy enough to read the rules and abide by them. Easily the best pizza I've had outside of NYC. It's very simple, read the rules. They won't do orders to go. They won't lower the volume of their music. They may get a little *fresh* with their customers. Your reward is an absolutely amazing pizza with fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared, and served piping hot. This place has one bad rating from someone who ADMITS they never even tried the food in the review. World doesn't revolve around you Karen, don't be so petty and punitive. Moving on...this is likely the BEST pizza place I have ever eaten. I've been to Prince St, Lombardi's, Patsy's, Joe's, Lee's Tavern, Emmy Squared, Roberta's and on and on and on. DO NOT skip this pie. Wait for it, call a third time, prepare ahead of time. WHATEVER, this is destination worthy food from a punk rock master of the craft. Anthony admits that he doesn't follow the rules for a traditional Neapolitan-style pie, but he understands them enough to break them the right way. The crust has structure, chew, and a little crispiness to it all while being super tender. And as far as the toppings go, his pies are pricey, but I don't understand how he makes a profit with the quality and generosity of his portions. Funghi was insane, LOADED with quality mushrooms without a crimini/button in sight. Finally, SUPER inviting folks. They admittedly don't seem like they are interested in just pandering to people expecting that Domino's customer experience. They are hanging out, enjoying their lives and running the business that they WANT to run, not the one ol' 1-Star Karen up in the reviews THINKS they should run. If you get it, you'll get it. And you'll get it FAST, because these pies cook up, reportedly in just 90 seconds. My family and I were all shocked at how quickly our order came out. Just make sure that you AT THE VERY LEAST try a bite of one slice at the many picnic tables they have set up against the woodsy backdrop before heading out. Like most of the other reviews, this is a standout restaurant. The pizza is excellent, fairly priced for what you get, and the service is friendly and fun. We had the Burratta appetizer and the Fungi and Dido Ante pizzas, and really enjoyed them. The Burrata came with their sliced foccacia on the side which was equally delicious. I am hesitant to tell you what I think about Anthony's pizza. The next time I go, you may end up ordering and consuming the last dough available. That would really suck for me. We can not remember having better pizza! Thin crust, homemade sauce. The Marinara was good for the vegans. Soppressata and Margaret's pizzas were excellent. My wife can't handle garlic, so none of the appetizer dips would work, but the owner threw in one with trout dip on the house. Excellent. They just opened, so there may be some growing pains. We live in the area, and never dared to dream that we could get this kind of quality in rural Sullivan County. We ordered several take-out pies ahead of time for a party--however, the shop is run on a small scale, so probably dropping in to eat is the best bet. The fungi topping is the best! It's upsetting to me to have to give a two star review to a restaurant that has some really amazing food. The reason for my two stars is mostly based on service. For starters, you are not aloud to order take out. When I asked to take a pizza to go, they literally said no. I assume it was due to the fact of they think it was jeopardize their pizza quality, so it is what it is. I'm of the mindset that if I'm paying 20+ dollars for a pizza, if I want to take it to go, it shouldn't be a problem. However, this was only a minor gripe of mine, and if this was the only issue I had, the rating would be much higher. What was worse was the fact that I was instantly met with hostility walking in to the restaurant. I went here with a group of four people, and we were all shocked at how we were spoken to. I don't really understand why, but again, it is what it is. The biggest icing on the cake was when we were being served, the man who seemed to be the owner, or maybe the manager of the restaurant came up to us and decided it would be wise to speak in a mocking Asian Accent asking about sushi that they had. I was personally shocked because I don't think he realized that someone in my group was of Asian descent, so it was insanely disrespectful. It took him a solid minute of awkwardness to read that we weren't okay with it. The whole situation is really upsetting because the food really was delicious. It's a shame that it was ruined by pretentious workers because honestly if they were even a touch nicer, and not blatantly racist, this pizza place would've been the best one I've gone to in years.
