Excellent food and service. The atmosphere in the resultant I like being in your home dining room. The food is excellent.

My office (12 people) ordered lunch specials today. The entire order was messed up. The waitress approached our pick up person yelling at her thinking that she was the person before her complaining, again, about her missing salads. The order was missing pasta for CHICKEN PARM and CHICKEN PICCATA. The waitress then argued that these dishes did NOT come with pasta or salad. The chicken sat in soup with nothing. She was rude and the lunches were ruined. Although we are a local business whose owners are friends, we will not order form them again. This has happened every time we have ordered from Casa Mia. Try and try again this place is nothing like it's original owners, Frankie and Johnny. The service is not great. The food taste is subpar quality is not good. Prices are high portions are small...service is sadly not good at all...When you carefully explain exactly what you want to your waiter and they still bring you something that is not right and then say nothing about it when you tell them it is not right. You gotta give up on a place. It's just not worth spending the time or money.‍ That is why this restaurant is pretty much empty every time I've been in there and at 7 o'clock at night they're ready to close. I was saddened when the change over to casa mia happened. BUT, there was no drop off in quality. The food is great, the portions plentiful and the staff is terrific. One of the wait staff is a particular cutie. I had to work that in. But it's a great experience and well worth a visit. read more

Haven't been here since the new owners. I was excited to hear they had the same chef and I recognized our server for many years (won't give her name because this is a "bad" review). I was shocked at how chaotic their whole service is. You have staff literally bumping into each other left and right. Plates dropping, cups dropping of their stacks), and the timing of how they bring out the food is just terrible. Our server said she takes the salad order first so people don't get cranky. That sounds good, but then no one comes back to get the drinks going or take the actual order. We had kids, we needed to get their order in for them. My wife and aunt were going to split an eggplant parm....but they brought out a chicken parm. Now here is the outrageous, the insulting part. It took a minute for us to figure out the mistake. My aunt cut and bit into the chicken before she realized, wait, we ordered the eggplant. We told the server, and she offered to get the correct dish out...but we were waiting so long for the meals to come out and didn't feel like waiting anymore, so we just said, don't worry about it, just take it off the bill. The server said she can't do that because we started eating it. After 1 bite!!!! That was just nuts! Anyway, I had the Marsala which was pretty good, not great. But their wings are still amazing. Every item we ordered was delicious: salad, pizza, and lasagna. The portions are huge and an order of lasagna could serve 3 to 4 easily. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back next time we're in the area. read more

This will be the second time I ordered mild buffalo wings and got bbq sauce. I tried. I'm done with this place. They are NOT F&J! I went back to get a refund and got an attitude about it. From the hostess AND a waitress ( I'm going to assume it was the owners wife) she insisted every restaurant is different with their buffalo sauce, I told her buffalo sauce is just that, NOT SPICY bbq sauce. Was happy to find Casa Mia open on Memorial day. Service was great. Had the shrimp arregonato. My lady had the veal franchise. Food was excellent. Portions were large. Will be back. This is one of the best restaurants in the area. Donald was a great waiter. read more

Came up from Long Island heard they were open again, well worth the ride. This place while the name changed the cook and staff still there are fabulous. Can't wait to return. My husband and I had dinner at "Casa Mia", formerly known as "Frankie & Johnny" or "Nardi's". We have been there many times before when it was under the old management, with good friends and on our own. We were never disappointed before, however, this time the new management and its cooks disappointed both of us. My husband and I first ordered fried calamari as an appetizer. It was a nice size portion, served with some marinara sauce. The shrimp were heavily breaded and fried, It did not taste fresh, more like done ahead of time then reheated. Not appealing at all. Next for the entrée my husband ordered a chicken, veal and shrimp parmigiana combo, heavily covered with mozzarella cheese, with a side of salad and French fries. My husband said that there were only two shrimps on his dish, and they were hard, which tells us that the shrimps were previously cooked (who knows when), then put on the dish and served with the chicken and veal which had no taste, no seasoning. As for me, I ordered a seafood combo, shrimp, scallops, and cod fish drowned in broth, butter and garlic sprinkled with some paprika. It came with a side of ziti with marinara sauce and a salad. Once again, the shrimps were hard and tasteless. The scallops I do not believe were sea scallops. They were thinly cut making one scallop look like ten, but that was not the case. The cod, perhaps one slice, rolled up and cut into smaller pieces. All of this was not very seasoned at all, most of it was left on the dish. The ziti with the marinara sauce was not bad. Both of our portions were over $26.00 each plus the appetizer. We only had a glass (or two) of water each...............no wine, beer or liquor available. They did offer canned soda at the cost of $4.00 each which we declined. We did not attempt to get any dessert. At the end our total bill was over $70.00 plus tip. The best part of this new restaurant under new management was the waitress (that attended to us, and another wonderful waitress,) Janice, who we knew from past years when eating at the previous restaurant Overall, (All in all), we were disappointed with "Casa Mia" and its new management. I was a loyal customer at the former "Frankie & Johnney's Italian restaurant which is now home to " Cas Mia" Italian restaurant. The transfer of ownership did not change anything. Same great pizza, great entrees and the place was remodeled 5 years ago and nothing had to be redone. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable. I frequented the former for 30 years and I hope I can do the same for CASA MIA! Just good food and service will make them a staple in the county. read more
