Everyone at Blondell, are so professional, sweet and kind. Every single individual, is extremely knowledgeable in their area of concentration. When you go to Blondell, it is truly a family oriented center. But, what I like the most about this center is their on time rating. I give them a 100% on time rating. My story: I needed special screening for the MRI because of metal objects in my chest after open heart surgery. Their agent Alexis on phone cleared me for the MRI with notes for the technician. Though heavily booked, she got me a timely appointment. I also needed an X-ray, and Alexis said, while there were no openings for this I can try for one at the reception on a walk- in basis. But no such luck as they were overbooked. Esther the imaging expert called me in, and then was thorough and knowledgeable for my MRI. On learning I needed an X-Ray she went out of her way to fit me in between scheduled appointments. The technician running the X-Ray unit and Esther took extra pains to understand what my doctor was looking for, and now I'm set for my next doctor visit. In sum, I found this place to be well run, with decent equipment and facilities, and most importantly, very helpful staff like Esther who went out of her way and saved me an extra trip!

It took 30 minutes just to be called to be registered. I was told they would call me but they needed to take care of the patients with appointments first. After I was called, I waited another 90 minutes before they called me. By then, anybody who was there when I came in and even after was gone. I knew I would have to wait but at some point, they needed to weave me in the patient list. Otherwise, don't take walkins and make it appointment only. The receptionist I dealt with was patient and very nice. She was in another station across the floor so I'm assuming she's more senior because the others seemed lost. The xray tech was patient as well. However, next time, I'll have my doctor send me elsewhere. And why use the name Lenox Hill? They are not affiliated with the hospital.

Frustrating Parking Experience at Montefiore 1250 Waters Place…read more Montefiore Hospital at 1250 Waters Place seriously needs to improve its parking system for patients. The hospital has two towers, but even though they are part of the same facility, the parking validation doesn't work across both. If you park in Tower 2 and your appointment is in Tower 1, you won't get your parking validated--even though it's the same hospital. To make matters worse, by the time you figure this out and try to move your car, you only have a 15-minute grace period. That's not nearly enough time, especially when navigating multiple floors using two different elevators just to get to an appointment on the 11th floor. There is no direct elevator that goes all the way up, which adds unnecessary delays and stress. In the end, you can end up being charged $19 just because you parked in the "wrong" tower. It's completely unreasonable and makes the entire experience frustrating for patients who are already dealing with medical appointments. Montefiore needs to seriously rethink this process and make it more patient-friendly.

From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Nyaisha Ruiz, the medical assistant, was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail, including what to expect before, during, and after the procedure. Her calm and reassuring demeanor really helped ease my nerves. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel like I was in very good hands. Dr. Bernstein was equally wonderful. The procedure itself was so smooth and quick that I almost forgot I was even getting a biopsy. The only thing I really felt was the small pinch from the lidocaine, and after that it was completely painless. The whole thing lasted about five minutes, and I was honestly surprised at how easy it was. The level of professionalism, care, and compassion from both Nyaisha and Dr. Bernstein made what could have been a very stressful experience feel completely manageable. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I would highly recommend University Diagnostic Medical Imaging, especially Nyaisha Ruiz and Dr. Bernstein, to anyone needing imaging or a biopsy. You will be in excellent hands.

I met Jennifer who basically runs the entire place .A supervisor who makes sure all is correct and professionally done. Consideration and care is something she prioritizes and thats great and thoughtful. She is involved with making sure that everything is done properly there and that the patients receive priority attention and care. I recommend this place for sure and I think it should be listed as a number one example of how an MRI office should run. They have water available . The bathroom is clean even a calming selection of background music to ease anxiety for a claustrophobic person such as myself.
