You can even purchase one of those metal milk jar carriers to transport the milk home. They sell by the half gallon and for a family of four, I go through 4 jars a week or so. Prices are reasonable and they sell ice cream from a Longacres ice cream shop that has been in business since the 1930s in Barton, PA. When you pull up you see the cows that provided you with the delicious milk! I drive about 20min just for the milk. Won't purchase from anywhere else now that I can taste the difference. Staff seem to be local high school students and are very nice. The ambience is straight from small town America.

This family's dairy farm is one of the nostalgic reasons my family settled in this area (just one of many reasons). I mean, where else can you greet the cows that produce the fresh milk you are about to buy in old fashioned glass bottles? That's right! We buy 4 or 6 at a time and carry them in hard wire baskets, just like in the 1950's! And for about the same price you're paying at the grocery store for milk that's been sitting on a store shelf for who knows how long. In summer, they feature locally grown produce. In autumn they sell local apple cider that's unbelievable! And the holiday egg nog is to die for!! If you're driving to New Hope from Philly or just looking for something fun to do on a Saturday, it's a great trip! The dairy has a dedicated local following, my family included. This year I was on top of the game and probably annoyed the owners a little too much by calling way too often. I had a chance to stop in over the weekend and despite this insanely hot heat for June, I had a lovely experience. There were four areas that I could pick from. But the English lavender that I really coveted was not quite ready yet this may prompt me to take a second trip this year to make up for all the years that I have missed out. The process is fairly simple. They give you a cute basket and a cute pair of purple scissors and show you exactly how to cut your lavender. Prices are a little bit high for what you get anything you can fit into trash bag style twist tie is $10. But you're paying for an experience not just the product. Be aware if you are afraid of bees, there are plenty frolicking about the buds. I personally enjoyed this and got some nice video. I think the heat kept a lot of people away this weekend because it wasn't very crowded and I have heard that it gets pretty crowded. In addition to my lavender, I picked up a lavender honey and a lavender stress balm and I am quite excited to make something with my culinary lavender that I picked. All in all, I enjoyed my experience and like I said, I may go back when the English lavender is ready but for now I am quite content to know that I did not miss out on the 2026 lavender picking season.

It used to be the activities were free, but you paid for food, the pumpkins, etc. I can understand charging for a hayride which we rode, and I have to say it was very nice , relaxing and fun. Both my 15 year old and 6 year old enjoyed this hayride. There is a lot to do, and the activities are fun. However, as stated above, you will pay for everything you do or eat here. The corn maze was fun, but a bit short. The highlight was the hayride. They did have a guy playing guitar and singing country types of songs. He was quite good, and the music added to the atmosphere. The hours are 12-4 which really should be expanded to end at 5 or 6. The bottom line is we had a good time, but spent over $75 for a 2 1/2 hour visit. This is not a very good value.

Now this is their only stand alone location (they still offer their popular food items inside Makers, still located in Dublin Town Center) and it is one of my favorite places - the addition of the cafe was genius and it's in a quaint store front in Doylestown. I went to their opening and have been coming back ever since. I love their seasonal options and that they partner with local businesses to sell such amazing goodies - particularly their baked goods. Their sandwiches I've tried have also been amazing but they sell out fast. I still come here to pick up food items- they do a great job of having unique products and they feature a lot of them in their food they serve. The service is always great and the owners Jess and Kevin are the sweetest! Love a family owned small business. Definitely stop here for coffee - it is my preferred destination in town, check out their events and pick up some yummy goodies for yourself (or great for gifting)
