Price on the wall where we paid clearly says "$9.99" yet we were charged $11.99.

Price on the wall says $9.99 - was charged $11.99 (was told later that those are the "fall prices".....so maybe you shouldn't display prices that are not available - and the "summer prices" were not displayed anywhere, someone pulled out a board from behind a door and held it up for me). Asked about a senior discount (wife and I are seniors), receptionist told me "I have no idea". Later someone who I assume was in charge just said "no, we don't have that here" (really? the entire world usually provides some kind of senior discount, but oh well). Was also told that the bargain price of $12 to get in included the hayride (wasn't running) and a bunch of other attractions that also I did not see operating. There was light rain, the ground was muddy, not too many people there, but let's charge this family of 3 almost $40 to walk around looking at sunflowers while dodging mud puddles. We're new to Bucks County, just bought a house - looks like we won't be returning to Hellerick Family Farm nor recommending it to our family and friends that will be visiting, unless they want to pay $12 to stroll around in the mud looking at sunflowers since the other attractions were not operating. Especially since we got the "no we don't have that here" regarding offering seniors maybe 10% off.

My kids and I are huge Hellerick's Farm fans. It's a farm and amusement park all in one. We first went in the fall a couple times when they had the corn maze and pumpkin picking on top of all the regular activities. We went on their spring opening day on Saturday, May 1st. We were pleasantly surprised that almost all the activities we enjoyed in the fall were open (minus pumpkin picking and corn mazes of course) except with no crowds. There were very few people there last Saturday and we felt really spoiled practically having all the attractions to ourselves. We had a private tractor ride by the owner with a great history lesson. It is so cool to support a local business like this that has been in the family since the 1800s. They have historic farm equipment on display which is neat. Whenever we come to Hellerick's we end up staying way longer than we expect because there is so much to do and the kids (age 4.5 and 2.5 years) never want to leave. My husband also had a lot of fun on the new adult tricycles. Some of our favorite attractions are the long tube slides, huge sand box, tire rolling and all the many attractions that kids can climb on. There are too many activities to list but so much to do you can easily spend a few hours here. It is a must to visit in the fall for all the Halloween fun but I also highly recommend a spring visit to enjoy most attractions without a crowd.

    Beautiful flower amongst the farm

Absolutely amazing! My friend and I planned a day trip up to Hellericks for their sunflower festival which featured one free sunflower and access to all of the other farm activities. We had close parking and was greeted and quickly assisted by friendly staff as we entered the farm. We were given a lift up to the sunflower fields where we got to roam and find the perfect flower! There were a ton of family friendly activities and photo props around the farm. Overall fantastic atmosphere and we left very happy with a beautiful flower. Would highly recommend and we will be back for the fall season!!

The staff and owner is so very very kind here! My 8-year-old son was terribly scared on the ropes course, and they helped him every step of the way - with compassion and kindness - until he completed the course. Thank you!

Such a great day at the ropes course. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The farm is beautiful and ropes course was perfect with 3 levels of fun to explore. We will definitely be heading back again! Thank you Kayla and Kaitlyn!

Came here with my boyfriend for strawberry picking. It was a good location, about 45mins from Philadelphia and right off of the road so you wouldn't miss it. The workers were very helpful directing you to exactly where the best picking is, but we ended up picking so many strawberries on the way that we never even reached the area we were directed to! The pricing was fair, we picked almost 9 lbs and paid $38. There weren't many people there either, but I think it might've been for the fact that it was Father's Day. I would recommend this nice family farm to anyone who's looking to pick some fresh, tasty strawberries and some strawberry butter! P.S. Wear some sunscreen unless you want to get a farmer's tan, like us

Ask the Community - Hellerick’s Adventure Farm

How old do children have to be to participate in the aerial obstacle course?

You must be 7 years old and be able to reach 60 inches high with their hands. 7,8 and 9 years old will be evaluated to see if they can go by themselves. Thanks!

    Is there sunflower picking?

Amy, yes we will have sunflower picking for about the next 10 days or so.

Rose Bridge is a sanctuary and working farm on land once owned by William Penn. Since 2013, the farm has become a 'forever home' for over 300 animals. Many of the animals are rescues from dairy farms, livestock auctions or other scenarios where they were at risk. They have several different activities, we opted for the Farm Fest, which combined several of the activities. The Farm Fest includes a mini farm animal husbandry tour, baby animal cuddling time, hands on craft activity, a beverage bar and an outdoor fire pit. It lasts about 2 hours. There were many parents there with children, but also adults like us by themselves. There are two times - 4-6 and 6:30-8:30. We went on the 4:00 tour. It was great! It was very interesting hearing how the animals came to the farm - it was so heartwarming to hear the stories of saving so many animals. However, I wasn't expecting the 'cuddling time' to be so much fun. We started with the goats - so friendly! They were nuzzling and 'pawing' us - I sat down and several came to me and wanted to be rubbed or held. I even had an opportunity to feed a baby goat its milk bottle! We interacted with pigs, sheep, a beautiful thoroughbred horse and a donkey! It was a very special experience! Afterwards we all went to a large barn and made crafts - specifically little planters we decorated, added dirt and seeds (large selection of flowers and vegetables seeds) to take home as a little souvenir. We had a dinner reservation so we left before the fire pit activity. Overall, it was a wonderful experience to be with these farm animals and to support such a worthwhile project.

It was fairly easy to find though going there, my map told me to go down a treacherous gravel road which I wasn't terribly fond of. They have a moderately sized parking lot and you'll see this large, red barn. That's where you get your goodies (there's often a line) and where their store is. We stopped by for a treat first. They sell ice cream, cider floats, and what is a "TikTok famous" coffee float with donut. We got: Cider ($4) - I didn't actually drink this. I got it for my kid with food allergies. He wanted ice cream but they do not know if the ice cream they use contains eggs or not so we played it safe. My kid thought it was okay but finally finished it later. He typically prefers regular apple juice. Cider float with donut - you have a choice of no donut for $2 less. It's like a root beer float but with cider instead of root beer, black and orange sprinkles around the time of the cup, whipped cream, and a powdered cider donut over it all. I shared this with my daughter. That donut was delicious! Warm, tender, and crisp on the outside. The drink was great! I do wish it came with a spoon because it got difficult finishing the last of it. Warning: if you have one of these, the bees are coming for you. They use some sort of caramel-like sauce to get the sprinkles to stick. Overall, quite good. Maple cider donut ($3): my sister got this and she said it was amazing, but she said she thought $3 was a bit much (the unglazed donuts are $1.25 each). She's vegan, so didn't partake in the float, but she also wasn't going to ask if there's milk in the donut. If you're getting only donuts, they are purchased in the store. They have tables and chairs nearby for you to picnic and enjoy your treats. Going through the gates, there was a table but they were busy with other people so we walked right in. There is no entrance fee, which was nice. You go through the apple orchard first. It seems like most of the apples have been picked through, though there are a lot of developing apples. Some of the nicer ones were way too tall for us; they don't provide ladders. We only managed to find one that looked nice. At the end, there used to be a sunflower field and the corn maze. It's epic but you don't know how formidable until you're past the point of return and realize it's not a kids maze. We were in there for a while! Even met other kids that thought they'd be lost forever. The corn stalks are taller than a human and they're pretty dense so you can't look over or through them. It's a true maze and I was impressed. I wish they would provide a paper maze puzzle of the corn maze because I'm so curious how it is from above. Lots of dead ends. What I can say is don't lose hope. You'll get there! (When we finally found the exit, it was almost like a dream because we had been staring at corn for so long.) In hindsight, it was good we ate something first. Once done, we explored the sunflowers and saw the pumpkin patch. As we headed out, we went to pay for our lone apple and we discovered THE CORN MAZE IS NOT FREE. It's $10 per adult and $5 per kid. They charged us $1 for the single apple. I guess they work on the honor system? I didn't mind much because that maze clearly took planning. Before we left, we visited the store full of baked goodies. I got a few cider donuts, a dumpling, and a piece of crumb cake because they just brought out a fresh tray. Plus a lattice harvest pie. The pies with crumble aren't vegan, but the lattice pies are made of vegetable shortening. Restrooms! They have a row of port-a-potties by the parking lot. They're actually the cleanest ones I've been to before. No sinks but they do have a dispenser of antibacterial hand gel. The openings are a bit large so if your kid needs to use the toilets, hold onto them. Overall, it was quite enjoyable and I definitely think everyone should go through a corn maze of this caliber at least once in their life. The apple pickings were sparse but at least you get delicious floats and donuts! Note: they have gluten free goodies in the store but they are nut based (almond flour). They also had one gluten free-vegan item.

After reading some unfavorable reviews on TripAdvisor from 2025, I was a little worried about what…read morewe would encounter during our visit yesterday. As it turned out, the experience could not have been more positive! It's a beautiful and well-maintained property with ample parking. The alpaca stables (males in one, females in the other) were very clean, and the 26 alpacas are clearly loved and cared for. They were gorgeous, friendly, and healthy. The staff, mostly (if not all) volunteers, were lovely, from the young adult (late teens, early 20s) guides who accompanied us on the 20-minute walk with our assigned alpacas, to the senior ladies working in the gift shop. The gift shop has a wide range of lavender and alpaca wool products, as well as related themed products. I would up spending $36 on a variety of items, some of which were perfect, low-cost gifts. In response to the TripAdvisor complaints about items being "expensive," I found the prices to be reasonable and normal for homemade, hand-made, and locally sourced items, as well as for specialty items made elsewhere. I can't say enough positive things about the guides who accompanied my friend and I on the walk, and the young man who gave the entire group on our scheduled walk the preliminary background information about the alpacas and what we might expect on the walk. They did an excellent job and were very friendly and helpful. At the end of the walk they make time for pictures to be taken, and the animals seem to know the drill quite well because they obliged without a fuss on a very hot day. Overall I give this experience a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it for all ages.

Such a great place. You can tell how much the alpacas are loved & how nice the workers are. Sadly…read morethe alpaca walk was sold out but I will def return to do it. The lavender shop has so many cute things. Great stop if you are in the area.
