All of the sweets that they add to the ice cream ie cookie's, and brownies are all hand made "that adds a star" but everything else is store bough. Cones and ice cream are not made in house, and ice cream isn't "premium." The selection of Ice cream also was a let down since they only had like 3 flavors. I'd say this is more of an experience than a "I gotta take you here some time" kinda place.

If you know Dani, she loves putting unique flavors in her creations and never skimps on quality. Box Turtle Creamery is no different. She also loves using seasonal and local fresh ingredients from local businesses and farms ad much as possible. Super smooth, not too sweet, very creamy, and stayed solid, which is hard to find all of those attributes in dairy free ice cream together. I had an Ed's Sauce slush, but instead of just oat milk ice cream, I swirled it with pineapple whip. Altogether, it tasted like a tart Smartie. Pretty good but cloyingly sweet. My partner had a cinnamon, graham cracker, and pretzel shake. It was excellent. Our friend had the Jimmy Eats Swirl bowl, which is essentially a concrete/blizzard. They hand mix their concretes without a blender, which is so impressive. I still can't believe she handled that much of a crowd entirely alone with such complicated orders. I get friendly directions to products and have even been escorted to where I was seeking. They have everything you'd expect a drug store to have, plus extra things like food, community sweatshirts, and toys. They rock during holiday times! More snacks will appear than you could want to eat. If you buy vitamins or supplements YOU MUST COME HERE. There's always some sale: buy-one get one free or 50% off of different vitamins and supplements.  I've saved a ton of money over that store down the road. They also have a good, free rewards program that is even tied to the pharmacy. What you spend adds up to credit you can take off future purchases.

Mayo dominated the sandwich. The one napkin I received was insufficient to contain mayo squirting off every edge of the flatbread.
