Even when I screwed up our booking and accidentally forgot one person they quickly got us taken care of. Waylon was the best guide! He was great with both my kids, letting them know when they could ride the bull and when they could jump in to get wet. He knew a lot about the area and engaged in conversation with all of us. I highly recommend the full day trip as it lets you see the entire upper and lower parts. Lunch was amazing. They asked us what we wanted and had an amazing spread (burgers, toppings, chips, watermelon, lemonade, pasta salad & cookies). I certainly wasn't expecting it to be that good. But after a half day it was soooo yummy!!! Can't say enough nice things! Even when my oldest fell out at Hospital, everyone knew exactly what to do (she was holding onto the boat). They travel together which is great. There are lots of options, but you cannot go wrong with H2O Adventures! We are already planning our next trip- on the Middle Fork and we will most definitely raft with H2O!!

I booked a "beginners" class. If a person could know "less than nothing" about the sport, this is me. "Dan", the instructor provided the equipment needed. Boat, paddle and life vest all provided. He had folks cancel, and so there was just me. Yet, instead of calling and canceling the class, he drove all this way just so I could have my class. Who does this? Getting past the how grateful I was, onto the review. I was a bit leary at my age and weight, if I would survive an hour. (class was scheduled for 7 hrs). I was just going to go as long as I could. This man has been doing this for decades and his mannerism and making sure to go over safety things, and how to get out of the boat should I roll over was a comfort. Parents... trust this teacher with your children. I'm 6' and 215 lbs. So, if someone was going to "wobble", and fall over, it would be me! When we went into the water, Dan had "the patience of Job". Then... I "got it". I was actually out there making the boat move and with a little more time, making it move where I wanted it to! This was the most fun I've had in 2 decades! When the parts of my body that haven't moved like that got a bit sore, no problem to rest, or go to shore for a break. Dan is a professional no doubt. I cannot recommend more highly if you've ever wanted to learn, then go to the website. He offers "white water, and sea" classes as well for the more adventurous. I have been kayaking for over 20 years, but my kayaking skills have soared after taking several classes. This trip, bar none, was outstanding. Now, maybe it was the guide affect? Our guide Ben gave us far more then we anticipated. I had my 20 yo daughter with me and she had a blast. Ben created a fun and relaxed atmosphere void of any tight-ass guide power trips. A full day doesn't mean a full day of class III. The class III rapids are a blast but the stops at the N. Fork, the unreal waterfall hike, jump rock and plenty of swimming opportunities are an added bonus! Enjoy!

While we have used different outfits lately - we had a great experience with Russian River Adventures a few years back, so we came in excited to return. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing, mainly due to poor planning by the staff. We booked for four people on a Thursday - my wife, myself, and our two teens (14 and 16)--with the expectation that we'd have two boats, which is standard for this group size. However, the team miscounted the boats that morning. When we pointed this out, instead of fixing the mistake, they pulled us aside and crammed all four of us into a boat intended for three, squeezing in an extra seat to make it "fit." Visibly frustrated, the team promised to speak with the owner and make it right (it was two high schoolers running it that day). I didn't argue and wanted to at least try to have a good time and not be that Dad. The result on the boat? A very cramped and uncomfortable setup that made the inflatable much harder to steer and navigate--especially on a 9-mile river trip. This wasn't the experience we paid for or expected based on our prior trips. The staff seemed more focused on moving us along rather than making it right. Still haven't heard from the owner. We'll likely explore other options next time around. Disappointed to see the service slip like this.

From the friendly and…read morefunny zip guides, fun and exciting zips, and clean well-maintained hiking areas, to the fantastic hosts, unbelievably clean and well-maintained treehouses, and the gourmet quality food (perfectly cooked filet mignon). They had everything we needed... towels, washcloths, shower amenities. games, snacks, bug spray, plenty of water, feminine products, and the first aid items we ended up needing (for bug bite). We had a first few time zippers in our party, and the group, and at all times, my party felt SAFE! The guides make sure we were ALWAYS attached at all times (several straps) and followed the same process for each zipper, for each line. Also, my party appreciated the first "starter" lines to get us acclimated. For more experienced zippers, we loved the challenges (like touching trees and zipping sideways. This was worth every penny! I totally recommend tipping at the end in the gift shop if you feel so inclined.

The views were beautiful, and everything felt well-paced from start to finish. The whole experience lasted about 2.5 hours and included 7 zip lines, which was such a fun adventure.
