Residents are finally getting the care they needed after the new management has taken over. Lots of positive changes.

My mom was placed on hospice and we chose Chantilly Lace because we heard so many wonderful things from so many different people. And everything we heard was absolutely true. The home itself is very nice. It's extremely clean and it feels and looks just like your neighbor's house. My mom came from two different hospitals before arriving to Chantilly lace. She was very depressed being in those hospitals, and as soon as she arrived to Chantilly Lacy, her face lightened up and it was the first time we had seen her smile in weeks. Terry and her staff are extremely loving to the residents and their families. We spent Christmas Day there and we had such a wonderful day. They made a wonderful feast and gave out presents to the residents. They are a fun and lively staff, so it felt like we were visiting family. I passed away there in January 2023 and I know she felt so loved and cared for by each staff member. I am so thankful to Chantilly Lace for taking such wonderful care of my mother. We will always be grateful and we definitely consider them family now. I still stay in touch with Terry, in fact. Thank you Chantilly Lace for everything!!

The options were overwhelming...I made call after call to facilities that spanned from Redlands to Victorville and every place in between. It was mind-numbing and overwhelming and frankly, some of the reviews were downright scary. Then, I landed on Sterling Commons. (First off, it was refreshing that somebody was staffed to answer the phone after the amount of messages I had to leave at some of the other places.) Right out of the gate, everybody was AMAZING, KNOWLEDGEABLE and HELPFUL! I had NO idea what needed to be done and I was guided the whole way. They even helped me get through the paperwork to get Gram VA survivors benefits to help pay for her care. Debra and her staff are absolutely dedicated to making sure that the residents are well taken care of. We have popped-in many times to visit and Gram is always clean, up and alert, either watching a cool old movie in the movie room or sitting with other residents socializing. There are caretakers everywhere. Nobody is isolated here and there is a lot of stimulation / activities. The extra care in securing the residents is bar none! NOBODY is getting in or out of the residents area without a staff member physically letting them in or out. This was especially important to us. The interior as well as the exterior are CLEAN, nicely decorated and has nostalgic touches; Gram couldn't help but to feel at home. I was so impressed with the different levels of care. Gram has Dementia / Alzheimers and she needs assistance with every aspect of daily life and she is getting that. She is so HAPPY and she's smiling again. It makes me cry (happy tears) that we don't have to worry about her well-being anymore. We can just sit and visit with her and know that when we have to leave, she will still be happy and safe.

When my mom began showing signs of dementia and her condition progressed, it quickly became clear it was no longer safe for her and my dad to live alone. I reached out to every city, county, and state organization I could find for help--and hit wall after wall. No one could assist us. That is, until we found Sterling Commons. From the very beginning, the team at Sterling Commons has been nothing short of angels on Earth. They've answered every question I had--plus so many I didn't even know to ask. They've treated my parents with the utmost dignity, patience, and compassion, no matter the situation. Their positive attitude never wavers, even on the hardest days. I truly cannot express the depth of my gratitude for the staff at Sterling Commons. Even now that I've managed to bring my parents to Hawaii, the team continues to go out of their way to help me with things back in California--without any obligation to do so. They've consistently gone above and beyond for my family. If you're looking for a place you can wholeheartedly trust with your loved one's memory care, I can't recommend Sterling Commons enough. They have been a blessing to us.

From the point of first contact, Sterling showed the kind of care and commitment you want to see in a facility for your older loved ones. Many such facilities claim it will feel like "family", but this one really did! My father's health needs and assisted care levels rose dramatically and unexpectedly early in his stay there, but the staff was right there every step of the way to help, including doing many things that were not even required of them. My father passed away on Christmas Day, 2015, and while I miss him greatly, I am comforted that the last part of his life was lived in such a wonderful environment. I couldn't be more thankful, and I give the Sterling Inn my highest recommendation. Andrew H.

Over the years I have encountered several families who had loved ones living there, and now I have moved my mother there. Don, Brandy, Brienna and many, many others have done everything they could to make the transition an easy one for my mom. Thank you Sterling Inn.
