This outpatient physical therapy in the high desert. My aunt complained of lower back and left hip pain with intermittent left leg numbness. We got imaging done and decided to choose this center for her care. The initial assessment was pretty straight forward. But, what is impressive is how there is a goid deal of consideration with my aunt's language barrier and matched her up with a physical therapist who can easily communicate with her without the need of an interpreter. My aunt is so happy and excited. She is eager to come to her weekly appointment. The center is very busy even late into the afternoon ans that says a lot. Kudos! read more

The team at Power Center are fantastic. I received treatment for a shoulder impingement at both the Victorville and Hesperia locations (Hesperia is closer for me) and they are super organized, called me for reminders too. The therapists really know their stuff and stick to the plan. They know how to push you the right amount to foster healing. Very kind and thorough treatment compared to previous places I have gone to for PT. Everything was explained to me as to what the particular equipment was helping with. I have terribly painful knees and after the first treatment I am feeling a little sore in the muscles that were used but my knee pain is less that when I went. I am very happy my first treatment was with Amy. She is so thorough and allows rest in between sets if you feel you need some. One exercise I really didn't care for and wanted to whine my way out of it but she would not let me get away with it. I am thankful for that., it's what I need. I am now looking forward to my next "land" session. The pool sessions are also very nice, water feels so good and allows more movement with no pain to these old knees. Ladies in the pool area are extremely nice and you feel like family when doing your water exercises. read more

This place honestly changed my life. I've spent the last 19 years in pain with multiple surgeries trying to discover what was wrong. Went for my initial evaluation and found the only evaluation they want to do is a wallet biopsy. Only interested in you paying them and then you billing Medicare and getting reimbursed by Medicare. Sounds like this place has been suspended by Medicare and they want you to pay. I have traditional Medicare and a Supplement and have never run into an issue before with any provider. Called me 3 times prior to my appointment to verify insurance and couldn't even get my birthday right. What a bunch of amateurs or scam artists. Won't go back and advising my physician to not refer any other patients to this unprofessional organization. Patients' beware! read more

I was having a horrible pain in my wrist, causing several issues in my normal daily living. When Yvette was going to work on my wrist, she told me "This is going to hurt, but bare with me!" She didn't lie . . . it was painful. But, I kept thinking "No pain, no gain" and I got through it. When she finished I could feel a difference, but the next day, there was an 80% improvement in my pain! What a relief! It was well worth the few minutes of pain to get the job done & relieve the pain! It will take awhile for my wrist to totally heal, but that was a huge step in the right direction! Thank you Yvette!! I am so beyond frustrated with this facility. I have been bringing my mom here because My mom was recommended to go here for her back and use their pool and attend swimming classes. Her insurance paid for 12 sessions and she paid out of her pocket for several other sessions. Out of nowhere after Covid-19 happened they sent her to collections for $167! No bill, no notice and my mom is on disability not even able to go in and couldn't even receive a courtesy phone call in regards to her balance. Her balance should have been paid by insurance and there is totally a misunderstanding but this is very poor management to send my mom to collections who has been coming here for the last 7 years and referred several coworkers here as well. Super disappointed and I hope people advocate for themselves to not be taken advantage of! read more

What can I say about Power Center and Yvette and her staff.. I went there last year when I had a blown out disk and bone spurs in my neck with a pinched nerve. I was blessed to be able to do approximately 12 sessions at Power Center. After after those 12 sessions.... The pain that was shooting down my right arm and going all the way down to my fingers was completely gone.. I regained complete mobility of my neck!! I was able to go back to work almost completely pain free. Now it's a year later and my neck has been feeling amazing. I was able to get a referral from my doctor just to get a tune up on my neck at Power Center because I aggravated it at work working overhead too much. Again the staff there is amazing. I got to work with John and Nathan. And my neck feels amazing after just 2 visits. I am very thankful for power center.. There are no words to explain the feeling of experiencing of a great amount of pain to having it minimized to almost painlessness. That place is amazing. Thank you Yvette and the staff for your professionalism and kindness. Thank you all for working on my neck and getting it back to normal. From the moment I started working with Amanda at Power Center I knew I was going to be receiving quality treatment. Amanda is knowledgeable, sensitive, competent and and does thorough evaluations/assessments. On my second visit I worked with Bobby who also came across as sensitive and gentle. Bobby made me feel at ease and made informed decisions about my treatment based on Amanda's assessment coupled with my personal capacity to accomplish tasks. I had such an amazing experience here. I had 2 disc herniation and I thought at 34 yrs old I'm going to need a back surgery. That's not quite the case! They definitely put me to work but equipped me to get my back strong and be able to do the exercises and stretches on my own. I went for 6 weeks, twice a week and it definitely made a huge difference. Everyone is knowledgeable. After they discharged me, they told me I can keep coming for 1 yr for free to keep the progress going. So impressed! Thankful for this place and the entire team. read more

I was left at each station and after every 5 minute exercise I had to ask for someone to tend to me. This happened on 3 consecutive visits so I stopped going. It was so much wasted time. Nice facility though yet seems they need a manager. read more

These people are AMAZING. The physical therapists are extremely knowledgeable and they love what they do. They really do treat their patients like family, going above and beyond to help them get better. They explain what is going on to the patient thoroughly and make sure that they do what is best for the patient with every visit. There is a gym and pool available to their patients as well. This facility is not what I had hoped for. First off I did go on Yelp and ignored the negative reviews thinking they were from sensitive and picky people. Not furthar from the truth! The place is not client friendly. No one greets nicely. No one answers the phones except if you get lucky. Need to cancel a session? Good luck....get in your car and drive there to do it. Unprofessional. Has anyone who has ever gone here actually had a physical therapist work with them?? Reception staff is unskilled and unfriendly. Other aides and assistants are not trained and should probably not be doing all of the work with patients. I never got out of there under 2 hours. I would sit around waiting for the next part of my therapy. La la laaaaaa. Who wants to blow 2-hours of a day twice a week? Amazing that they can stay in business. read more

Love the Power Center. When you walk through the door you are greeted. If you find a therapist you prefer you can always schedule with them. Cassie and the others make you feel better before they even work on you by making you feel welcome with a smile of recognition and calling you by name. They listen to what your goals are and help you reach them. If you reach a Plateau they don't just keep taking your money; they get you to move to the next level of work. I cannot express how much better I feel and am excited about getting to the point where I can get my full range and back to my sport. read more

Apparently, there are no live persons to answer the phone during business hours. Oh wait, what are their business hours? They close down and lock the doors for "lunch" and meetings. If you call, be prepared to leave messages and receive no callbacks. When you are asked to be there 15 minutes early as a new patient, be prepared to encounter locked doors and rudesby personnel who inform you they are at lunch, and then a meeting. You will be asked in a condescending way , "Who asked you to be early, the automated caller?" Answer, "Why yes, YOUR automated message caller!" You will be asked to wait in the gym area, in our case to generously to get the 88 year old wheelchair bound patient out of the hot sun. You will be told that you cannot sit in the lobby because ypu cannot be allowed to hear their meeting. You will be left waiting in the empty gym for the appointment that they set for 1:00 and told to be 15 minutes early. This is, by far, the most unprofessional organization. Went for my first visit today. The staff is so nice and welcoming. We had our consultation with Yvette and she was amazing. She put a special tape around my bad knee and it took so much of the pain away. I start water therapy on Friday. If you are looking for a place to take therapy I highly recommend this place. The thing I liked the best is that they care about their patients as they allow you to use their gym or pool for a year after your therapy ends. Not many businesses offer this that I have ever seen. Power Center of Victorville isn't a place for you to go is you need to use the pool area. I helped a patient get from the stairs to the side bar in the pool and I got in trouble for touching a patient. A patient asked how to do a certain foot movement in the exercise and I got in trouble for showing her. I was watched by Ferris constantly. He would come in and ask me a question and then leave. After finding out that they were accusing me of taking over the class and teaching the patients, I blew up. When I get that mad, I start to cry. The manager took me into her office to discuss the matter. She told me that she watched the tape, there is no sound recorded, and her and the senior therapist Ferris, decided that I had taken over the class and was teaching patients. The manager/owner told me that I could continue coming if I wouldn't (1 touch any patient (2 talk to any patient about any exercise (3 show how an exercise is done to any patient (4 help any patient in any way even saving them if I see them in trouble in the water (5 not swim in the pool and (6 get in and out within an hour and no longer even if I hadn't finished my exercises and that includes the Jacuzzi. If I couldn't keep to these rules, which are just for me, then it would be better if I didn't come again. There are people who swim in the pool, help others when then don't understand how to do a certain exercise or touch an other patient, such as helping with a noodle or holding their hand. Patients talk to one another all the time. I told them that I was being punished for doing things that others do. The manager told me that I wasn't being punished but that they would only allow me a slot of time so that I had to get out at the one hour mark because the next class started next. Needless to say, I told her that I wouldn't be back ever. I have pain daily with my back and disc problems but I'll have to find something else to do to try to get some relief. read more

I would not recommend this therapy center to my worse enemy, because of this center I cannot move my shoulder. They let teach's work on clients doing stretching exercise they should not be doing causing injury to the client. My last session a therapist refuse to listen when I told her she was hurting me. I tried to get my arm away from her and she pulled my arm to the level of my head which was so painful I had trouble breathing. I had just had a shoulder manipulation from the problem caused by the teach when she caused my shoulder to make a popping sound. Should have never went back after the first incident but it's close and I don't drive far because of the shoulder surgery. Now I can't move my shoulder and stay in severe pain, shame on that therapist that's if she is a therapist you changed my life for the worst. I thought finally it was almost over this and I could look forward this has been since April and the shoulder has gotten worse had to go for another MRI just be aware of the center and make sure you are being stretched by a real therapist.
