When my "honey do" list started to become a "honey don't", the hand of God stepped in and gave me a slap leak in my two-story house. I learned there are two ways to fix the problem. 1 breakup your concrete slab, which I decided was too much of a mess to handle in my family room, or 2 reroute the lines between floors. More expensive, but that avoids possible additional breaks in nearby water lines due to all the vibrations in jackhammering through concrete. I then called Jess to fix all my plumbing problems. I don't necessarily advocate waiting until you have a major issue such as mine, but Jess can fix anything from a leaky faucet to something major such as my situation. Jesse is amazing. He's always available, incredibly efficient and thorough, but most of all... extremely reasonable! This Friday, at 3:45pm, I noticed water on the garage floor. After a brief inspection, I saw that the hot water tank was leaking. Jesse had warned us about the age of this tank when he came over to fix some other stuff for us a few weeks ago. His prediction was correct. I initially called Jesse, but it went to voicemail and I thought perhaps he was either done for the day or out of town. I started to call emergency plumbers, but they told me they couldn't do anything until after the weekend. Also, I had the feeling they would charge an arm and a leg. Thank goodness, 10 minutes later Jesse called back. Without a blink, he came over to the house saw the issue, shut down the water heater, drained it out, but kept us with cold water so we could continue using water. Saturday morning, bright, and early he turned up with a new tank and installed it. We had a serious stoppage in the drain line from our toilet on the second floor. No one likes plumbing problems and when they occur, all you want is for them to get fixed (a) as soon as possible (b) correctly and professionally and (c) at a reasonable cost. I've had Jess out to my house numerous times for problems with the water heater, toilet malfunctioning, sink and shower leaks, etc. He comes quickly, is thorough and responsible and (my wife appreciates), doesn't make a mess. On the last occasion, after he left an additional problem occurred with the shower which wasn't part of what he was called upon to fix. He came back anyway and fixed it at no charge. That is above and beyond.
