I'm so glad I moved so close to this golf club because it is very nice to play at. The service is very good from cashier, cart attendant and food and beverage employees. The course is gorgeous and awesome to play at.

Very disappointing golf course. Holes are boring and greens are bumpy. Won't be playing here again.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!…read more Ive been lucky enough to enjoy some great courses and facilities in Orange County and this wasn't one of them. The.golf course is a joke, I've seen better maintained cow pastures. The condition of this course is only half the problem, the prices are much more expensive then any course in this area... I suggest playing Sweetwater,Zellwood or Forest lake before even considering this dump! Last time I played out there I saw signs for the Lee Westwood academy at Errol Estates, what a joke that is! I can't for the life of me understand why Lee would attach his name to such a HORRIBLE GOLF COURSE. Lesson of the day Avoid Errol Estates there are 100s of courses that will give you a much better experience for your money!

What was once a truly great golf course, and well maintained clubhouse, has sadly seen better days…read more Several years ago, a group of friends and I would get together and play this well maintained, hilly course in Apopka, as they offered some great deals during afternoon times over the summer. The course at that time seemed to always be in great shape. Recently, or over the past few years, it seems they have not invested very much into the clubhouse area, and are content to really just let time pass it by. The course itself is still overall in average shape, but the clubhouse, and your first impression here, leaves much to be desired. Apopka has some nice areas to it, and this could be restored to really add a nice touch to the area. I truly hope they at some point they try to refurbish the clubhouse and restaurant.

We checked in and purchased a medium bucket of balls. Balls $6 and there are 25. Cart plus round $75. You can take the cart around to the parking area by taking the high path next to the first hole but you still gotta walk through some dirt. Mats in good shape. Not sure what distance the markers are. There's a tracing capability that I didn't have time to play with. They start some folks on 1 and some on 10: we went to 10. Gorgeous hole layout. Available on 18Birdies to get an idea of where the hazards are. Course in great condition overall. The rough was rough with a lot of heaped up chipped grass and difficult to find your ball if you ended up there. Had a great round. Rained on us about 3/4 way through. Lightning etc so we took cover shortly but it passed after 30 min. Carts are basic- no speaker. No gps. No towels or tees included. The pro shop has one bathroom. Otherwise the usual offerings of clothes etc. The restaurant i heard is good, as well as the food truck. We didn't stay to eat. Cart service available throughout our day. I got four shots and a double Bloody Mary plus 20% tip and it was $55.20, not bad. She came around four times during our round. Good variety of beverages. Parking is plentiful and all spaces are safe from fly balls. Pro tip: Hole one is next to the range and there are a TON of range balls along the right rough. So I'd recommend not to hit it over there or to use a colored/distinct ball. The range balls are white. Also- they say a women's restroom is going to be built on the course along the back nine: but for now, there is only one on hole 5. It was clean. So be sure to use the pro shop restroom when you make the turn. Check this place out. A lot of fun. In great shape.

The city took over this location and I kind of expected it to be in the same condition as the Winter Park 9. Nope. It was not all bad but the core portion was horrible. Newly renovated snack bar and bar. Nicely done. Nice sitting area and the bathrooms best I have seen at a local course. I mean real nice!!! The staff were very nice but there was an odor of burnt plastic inside. Carts worked well but their geo fencing made no sense. I had multiple times it shut down well away from greens and tee boxes. Number one has the range down the right side. Wouldn't let me get within twenty feet of the marked out of bounds as I searched for my ball. Also how about sending someone out to police all the range balls on number one. Another tip. Have your mowers work backwards so each group only deals with it on one hole? We had a mower escort for three holes as we finished the front nine. Found it weird they were cutting tee boxes at 1pm. It wasn't wet. PRO SUGGESTION: how about a discounted rate until your greens get fixed. Many course give a discount during aeration season. Highlight was the guys I caught on two and waved me up to join them. Pro Tip: Tuesday has a ladies league so get out early or not at all. 5000 yards should not take four hours. Pro tip: I would skip this place until they get their greens figured out.

First time with DZ greens, rolled very true but needed to add 20% strength on putts - slow. Three birdies today. Lots of water, some blind, can be tough to navigate for a first time on the course. We arrived 45 minutes before the tee time so we could get in some range time and hit some putts. The check-in with Ryan was NOT a positive experience. The same Ryan I spoke to on the phone when I called almost 3 weeks before. I told him I was playing 9 holes SOLO and would have a rider, he confirmed there was a Vet discount. The rate he quoted worked but when I checked in he told me there was a $45.00 rider fee. I told him that was not mentioned when I called ahead of time. He said 'well, the person you spoke to should have told you'. I told him 'YOU were that person and I have my notes if you want to look at them. By now everyone in the Pro Shop is looking and I could tell Michelle was getting uncomfortable so I just paid it. Then we go to get a cart and we can't find an attendant. I start to put my clubs on a cart and then someone says 'you can't use that cart'. The young man proceeds to start taking my clubs off with no explanation. Then he puts them on another cart and Michelle and I are just looking at each other in disbelief. We finally get it all sorted and head to the drive range which is adjacent to the Starter. When I asked about the range on the phone, it was never mentioned you can only hit off mats and NO drivers allowed. We got paired up with a son and mother from Columbia, SC who had played there before. The course is very nice, lots of bunkers and water. In good condition for mid-February and the pace of play was good. I would not return, there are too many other better options and the Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando is a better choice IMO. After my return home, I got in contact with the GM and explained the unpleasant experience in the Pro Shop and got a refund for the over charge.

I have not yet hit off the grass yet. Range balls are included. The putting green does have a 18 hole putting course and its very pure greens. No chipping area. Conditions- 7/10. I had very high hopes for Magnolia and how everyone talks about it being the best at Disney. I was not impressed. It definitely felt different vs the Palm course. starting from the tee box they were in good shape, mostly grass and not many patchy dead parts. The fairways were very well kept. The sand was nice and fluffy. The greens were in good shape and not bumpy at all. It just didn't feel as green as the Palm course. Pro Shop- 7.8/10. I didn't take a picture but it has very cool designs. No polos with the course logo or names on them just disney characters. A good hat selection and other cool golf accessories. Food- N/A. I did not try any food but they do have a small spot near the putting green were you can get burgers and dogs and chips and drinks. I had a double shot transfusion and its always good. They also have a cart girl on the front and back nine if you need snacks and drinks as well. Course Design- 7.5/10 The best part of the course was definitely grumpy's gauntlet. The cool dog legs and lots of sand on them. The course was more wide open then I thought. The other holes on the course were just typical slight left and right holes and some water holes as well. I loved the Mickey Bunker as well! Service- 8.2/10. The bag drop guys at the beginning were nice. The pro shop guys were helpful as well. The Starter was cool and cheerful. The cart girls made sure we were all good and were always going by. At the end the people were nice and cleaned our clubs and talked to us. I know some places the guys are rude. So props to the people at Disney! Overall, It was a fun course to play on my birthday, definitely will play again but the Palm course is still my number one! Lake Buena Vista is still on my list to play.

FORE!!!! The Happiest Place on Turf - Disney's Magnolia Golf Course…read more Just wrapped up a magical round at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course, and let me tell you -- it's a pixie-dusted paradise for any Disney-loving golfer. Right across from the Polynesian Tower and practically neighbors with Magic Kingdom, this course is a dream come true. The Course: It's stunning. Every hole offers scenic views, towering trees, and greens that roll like butter -- but don't let the charm fool you. Mickey didn't skip the challenge when designing this layout. Magnolia brings the magic and the muscle. They've also added a new back-nine challenge called the "Grumpy Gauntlet" (holes 14-18), a stretch that features: * Two beast-mode par 5s * A slick par 3 * A long, demanding par 4 to close it all out Think of it as the final boss battle of Disney golf. Tee Time & Cast Member Rate: We booked the Cast Member rate of $45, which needs to be secured two days in advance. I lucked out with a 6:30 AM tee time -- yes, it's still 80+ degrees at sunrise in Florida -- but totally worth it to avoid the midday melt. You can also grab a $30 afternoon rate, but prepare for the heatwave. I got there around 6:00 AM, warmed up with a bucket of range balls (included!), and practiced a few putts before teeing off. That little warm-up made all the difference. Magical Moment: On the 12th hole, I flushed a 7-iron that landed about 5 feet from the pin -- drained the birdie putt and felt like I won the Masters. Just one of those shots that sticks with you! The Vibe & Service: * Got paired with a friendly twosome -- pace of play was smooth and steady * The team running the course (Arnold Palmer Golf Management) may not be official Disney Cast Members, but their service is Mickey Mouse-level excellent * Everyone was helpful, warm, and fully in the Disney spirit ‍ Bonus Disney Golf Nerd Info: Disney Golf has more to explore: * Palm Course - Beautiful and slightly more forgiving * Lake Buena Vista - Tighter layout, lots of water * Oak Trail - Walking-only 9-hole course with tiny greens and a tough Amen Corner-style 3-hole stretch I've been playing Disney's courses for years and years and years, and they just keep getting better. Magnolia is the crown jewel -- and with the new "Grumpy Gauntlet" stretch, it'll test your game and your stamina. Final Verdict: If you're a golfer with even the slightest love for Disney, you need to play Magnolia. Between the location, the atmosphere, the layout, and that special Disney touch -- it's golf magic from start to finish. ‍
