Made a tee time for a twosome at 1059am on a Friday. Arrived about 30 minutes prior and they let us right out. No starter available and finding the Hole 1 via their signs was not easy. The course was wide open with cart path rules near tee box and greens. The low cost to play was justified based on the overall shape of the course. We had an enjoyable round. Beautiful entrance to community. Signage to find club house, driving range and courses not very prominent. No guard at gate when we arrived. Unable to locate any golf balls to hit on the range. Young attendant at the pro shop didn't provide much information as to location of first hole etc. Fairways were in good shape, greens were being aerated so we didn't expect them to be easy (had to find that out by ourselves- pro shop didn't tell us), tee boxes on back nine were horrible! Overall while a nice and challenging course not one I'd go out of my way to go play again. Perhaps that's why it was only $50 pp to play. read more

My norther relative visited us from up in Wisconsin and wanted to golf away from the Villages and so while we were out and about made reservations and drove down here to try their course. We showed up on a Thursday morning with a 10:17 tee time about 20 minutes early and were rung up, sent to get a cart and load up our clubs and headed out to the course. They had a men's grouping playing through and we had to wait for about 15 minutes for the last group to play through. We were a twosome and were paired up with another couple, who seemed pleasant enough and off we went to golf. The course is fair for the price paid, with some cart paths concrete and much just fairway driving. The carts are older gas, but workable. There were many greens that had burned out areas on many edges, but fortunately did not affect our putting. read more

Executive course review. A solid 4. I enjoyed playing Kings Ridge. A short executive course with lots of elevation changes and a few nice par 4s. Conditions were very good with maybe the exception of some tee boxes. Greens were very nice for the price paid. Recommended for tuning up your short game. Peculiarities include that you need to check in at the main clubhouse and take your cart on about a 10 minute expedition through the neighborhood to get to the exec course. Obviously, not enough business to constantly staff the second clubhouse. There was also no starter so you can go when you want, but this could be a problem if you are not part of a full foursome. I personally interacted with 3 employees and they were all pleasant, so I experienced basic satisfactory customer service. As for the course, it's a very basic public course. No frills or extras (I.e. no cart person coming around with refreshments). The course itself was very bumpy on every hole. One of the employees on the first tee said they got a new greens keeper and that the course was in the best shape it's been in a while. I could see that the greens were well taken care of, but the edges around the fairway could use some attention. My boyfriend and I came here one 2 complimentary rounds of golf he won in a tournament. It was a nice round, but we won't be back. read more

I really like this course but apparently it's under new ownership and lately it's gone down hill. The tee boxes and greens are horrible. Also, the maintenance people (people mowing) literally will drive up on you while teeing off or come on the green while putting. read more

My husband recently went to the golf club to inquire about purchasing a 10 round pass for me for Christmas (which they have had in the past). He was told by the person in charge - Steve - that no they did not have any and he had "better things to do with his time than to worry about passes". I think this is VERY poor customer service! My husband was probably about to spend $300-400 dollars and this was absolutely no way to be treated. I hope whoever is "in charge" of Steve is aware of the way he is treating paying customers. We have been playing golf at Kings Ridge for 19 years and have never been treated like this. read more

Played this course on 2/21/24, first time here playing with a friend who is local. Enjoyed the course and the course was in good condition. The starter was friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that I left my pullover Callaway fleece jacket in the cart at 4:45pm along with my putter head cover. Called the course the very next morning and they claimed they did not have it. Followed up with an email that same next morning to the proshop with no response at all. I work at a golf course in NC and it is common to find belongings in carts which we then put in a lost and found for return to the owner if they call. Very disappointed in the staffs handling of this matter - apparently a staff member wanted my jacket. I likely will never play here again for this reason only. read more

Went to the course around 4:45 on the day before Thanksgiving to take my father to the driving range to hit some balls. He went inside and paid for the balls and we came outside to get the cart. Even though the course and range was still open they then told us the carts had all been put away for the day. So my 73 year old father and I had to walk all the way down and back to the range. We play golf at least every other week and have played this course many times before. Very different customer service this time to what the experience was before and have never had such a bad experience at any other golf courses in Orlando or anywhere else in the world. We had a course ranger come and yell at us very rudely to speed up when we pointed out the foursome behind us were two holes behind. When we came to return the carts he kept yelling at us in front of other guests, apparently the club does not have enough carts so we have to play speed golf. We were 6 people who are of Asian decent so he probably thought we would just take his abuse and leave quietly. I finally went and spoke to the Manager on Duty and rather than apologize for his employee's rude behavior he started making excuses. After telling him to look at the time we started and showing we were pacing better than a threesome on the course I asked him again, even if we played slow does it justify his employee's terrible attitude and rude behavior only to be told that he will talk to him. Icing on the cake is this whole time while I was talking to the manager the rude employee kept interrupting and finished off by saying "get out of my face and don't come back to play here", and the manager just watched and repeated I will talk to him. Feel the employee is definitely bias to who plays on the course and the management definitely does not have a handle on their employees. I hope the course ownership train the managers and the staff to do better at customer service before you start losing more and more customers. We would never play there again and would never recommend it to anyone. read more

This golf course was absolutely outrageous no sympathy I paid for a full 18 $500 for me and my friends on my cousins birthday and we only had the opportunity to play nine holes because of a family emergency but they said they can only give me a rain check unless it's raining ??? And when I told the gentleman at the pro shop about my situation, he was very rude, sarcastic and unsympathetic this is absolutely outrageous. I will never be going to this golf course ever again. Upon arrival we were met by two young folks at the counter who seemed very dis-interested in the fact that we are there requesting our tea time to be checked in. We were never really greeted nor spoken to directly. Once we were checked in we were given some half-baked directions on how to get to the executive course which is approximately a quarter mile from the main golf area. I'm giving three stars for the condition of the greens which were fantastic and the weather was perfect which they had nothing to do with. Despite the encounter of the first impression we had a great day of golf. We did run into another golfer who expressed the same displeasure with these two individuals upon check-in and their lack of care to give them the proper directions to get to the executive course which is not located near the main entrance or the main clubhouse. I don't think I would go back regardless of the condition of the course due to these two knuckle heads who were too busy goofing around. As this was my second time playing at this course. I will look elsewhere to play.... read more

Greens are like putting on the highway. At 51.00 a round expected better. Then at the turn decided to have a few beers. Much to my dismay, when I asked for 6 Michelob Ultra, the lady said they did not carry it. Next I looked for Bud Light in the cooler. None of that either and no Budweiser. So I noticed they had no Anhauser Busch products for sale. I had already concluded that it probably had something to do with the Board Members boycotting Anhauser Busch and that is okay for them to have their opinion, but to not sell a very popular item to a customer because of the beliefs of a few is not an excuse. I had promised my buddies I would get them a beer so I asked for 6 Coors Light. The lady said, "That will be 49.00." That was all I could take. $51.00 dollars to golf on a course that is not in very good shape, 8.00 each for a beer that I don't drink, and what I consider their personal beliefs keeping me from being able to enjoy my choice in beer and golfing at a decent course made me realize they did not need my money. I would think twice before playing at KIngs Ridge Golf Club. They don't have enough golf carts and they don't know what customer service is. The management need to educate their little workers on what an inclusive sport golf has changed to. It is not a white mans sport any more!! We were a group of 6 brown people that were humiliated in front of a group of white customers because we took a little longer without accepting the fact that they did not have enough golf carts. read more

4 stars for a clean, attractive course that's reasonably priced. My group came here on a Saturday morning and it wasn't crowded at all. We made reservations online. The golf course in inside a gated community. You notify the gate guard that you're there for golf and you get a day pass for parking. The parking lot is fairly large and was convenient. It's the first left after you get inside. The parking lot is good sized and right by the club house. The check-in process was easy and we were in our carts quickly. Only some carts come with coolers, so be sure to specify if you'd prefer one. The course was very clean and the grass was in good condition. However, there were a lot of leaves in some parts. Also, some of the homes were pretty close to the course and I felt sort of intrusive. However, I really liked the course. There were some great hills! They really used the terrain to their advantage too and made some fun holes. Overall, if you want a reasonably priced course with some interesting holes, this is a great spot! read more

Called Kings Ridge Friday February 15th for a Monday Feb. 18 12:04 tee time. Was told I had it. Today, Monday 18, got to the course 1/2 hr ahead of tee time. Unfortunately they didn't have a tee time listed for us. They had no open tee times, but they would get us in if we went to the main clubhouse, about a mile away, check in and get a golf cart. They would not bring a golf cart up for us we had to go get it. Be careful when booking a tee time at Kins Ridge. read more

This is a nice golf course but the staff treated us very unfairly. Our tee time was delayed by over 20 minutes due to a freeze and then staff complained about us taking a long time because the course has a shortage of golf carts. There was no team behind us waiting. When we ended the round the staff was yelling at us. I recommend this place add more golf carts instead of yelling at customers. read more

Have played both of the courses the kings course and the ridge course. Both in great condition with challenging holes. Used almost every club in my bag on the kings course. Ridge course is a bang for your buck executive course with a couple long holes thrown in there. Staff was friendly and very willing to offer assistance when needed. Full practice facility available. The only reason I'm giving this to two is because the course is in OK shape I wouldn't say it's amazing. Course management on the other hand is horrible we rounded the 10th hole it almost 2 1/2 hours in and it was slowing down to where we were waiting 20 minutes a hole. No tournament on the course or anything, just poor management. No rangers. Then I asked for a rain check as I plan for 4 hours on a 2some.... not 5-6. I was told no Mgmt on sundays. Lol. Tried to make a tee-time for a Sunday. Both Erika and Brandon were extremely rude on the phone and acted like they were put out speaking with me on the phone. Asked to speak to the GM and was informed by Brandon that he could speak on the GMs behalf!! Ever since Legends closed, The management and staff truly forget who has supported them over the years. Friend takes his 6 year old son to the course to just ride with his father and enjoy the day, the staff charges him full price for golf. Unfortunately, Kings Ridge staff is and will ruin this awesome track and golf atmosphere. Sad read more

Worst customer service. One of the employee was so rude. They delayed the start for us due to the freeze. Then he was rushing us to finish the game. They were short of carts and started shouting at us. Also called us names and shouted in front of other customs. When we talked back he told not to come and play again. Never again. Great layout! The course is good value for the condition. When I played towards the end of September they had been doing work to the greens and did not mention that when booking and also charged full price which I thought was wrong. The course is also more than nice enough to have a roaming ranger which would drastically improve pace of play. Other than that great course and I will surely be back. read more
