During appointments, Dr. Norton often comes into the room, spends very little time actually examining me, and leaves without adequately answering my questions or addressing my concerns. When questions are answered, I often feel as though I am bothering her or that my concerns are not being taken seriously. The appointments seem increasingly focused on getting patients in and out rather than providing thorough, attentive care. My biggest concern was a tooth that caused me persistent pain for approximately a year and a half. I mentioned the same tooth and the same pain at three consecutive six-month checkups. Each time, I was given a different explanation or recommendation. At the first visit, I was told that I needed to use a softer toothbrush. Six months later, I was told that the top of the tooth should be filed down. At the third visit, I was finally told that the tooth needed a root canal. Since Dr. Norton does not perform root canals, I was referred elsewhere. Because my insurance only covers two checkups per year, this also meant paying out of pocket for an additional visit. Eventually, after a year and a half, the tooth was properly treated--and thankfully, the pain that I had been dealing with for all that time finally stopped. Routine checkups are supposed to be about identifying and addressing problems before they become more serious. In my experience, these visits have increasingly felt more like brief appointments focused on processing patients than thorough examinations and preventive care. Looking through the older reviews, it is clear that this practice was once highly regarded. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have not reflected those reviews. I am disappointed that I now have to find another dentist, but I feel it is necessary to find a provider who will take the time to listen to my concerns and properly evaluate them.

Who would have thought that a root canal would be painless!? Dr. Stanley made it so!…read moreI was in so much pain in need of a root canal to the point of going insane. My original destination for a root canal was weeks away and I could not wait! I was referred to Dr. Stanley. I called barely able to talk and thank the rainbows and stars they got me in the next day- they even called me in earlier!? (I almost went in my cow onesie). The front office greeted me with a smile and knew who I was right away with sincerity based on my teary phone call yesterday in need of an immediate appointment. As soon as I walked into the office, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Stanley was smooth as butter numbing the area and giving me a painless root canal in under an hour!! I had immediate relief. I went from tears of pain to smiling again- even though my lips were lopsided from the numbing agent( I didn't care). The front office is very cheerful and positive. Dr. Stanley and his assistant were gentle and explained everything in detail making sure I understood the procedures and giving me post instructions. I couldn't wait to eat the foods I missed and smile , smile, smile, smile!! I thanked them for being so compassionate to get me in right away. You are treated like a friendly neighbor , not just a patient. I look forward to future visits because I know I will be greeted with a smile and gently taken care off thoroughly. Dr. Stanley is thorough, compassionate, smooth, swift, gentle, funny , reliable, respectful and the best dentist I have ever gone to and he has a remarkable staff. My root canal brought me to a great establishment and I know I will always be well taken care of. Great job Dr.Stanley and all!!!!

First, I didn't think I would have to write a bad review about Thomson Drive Dental front office…read morestaff (Amber), or Dr. Aniqa Zaheer, but I feel compelled to inform other patients of their dishonesty, and the way patients are treated once a procedure fails, or you have questions about your bill. I have been going to Thomson Drive Dental for over 1 year, but recently I received two crowns that I paid a substantial amount for (overcharged), 1 crown didn't last 3 months, not only did one crown break, but the tooth under the crown broke, and needs to be surgically removed. These crowns in questioned had been removed before because the Office ordered the wrong shade, but cemented the crowns anyway without me viewing first, but any person could clearly see the shade did not match my other teeth. After all the wrestling/jerking by Dr. Zaheer trying to remove the first crowns, and putting temporary crowns back on that didn't stay, I believe that damaged the teeth more. Now, here's the problem, when I asked about the refund for the Crown that broke, I was told first, I would not receive any refund for the crown, but they would surgically remove the broken tooth for free. Next, Amber told me I would receive a full refund for crown, and any fees related to crown, NOW THAT HAS CHANGED, they want to only refund me a portion of what I paid. They should remove the tooth for free due to their negligence, and a crown is supposed to last 7 years or more according to THIS OFFICE. I signed a Release Form for my dental records be sent to another dentist on June 1 for a second opinion, they emailed very limited information, and added some untrue information. I have also requested my dental records, and billing information so I can view myself, as of date I still have not received. I can't believe the unjust treatment that I'm NOW receiving because of my asking for a full refund and questioning their billing practices. If you are a patient of this Office (or have been a patient), please don't be quick to get what's being recommended by Dr. Zaheer, if you know in your heart you don't need those services. PLEASE check to see how much you are being charged compared to how much you should be paying according to your Insurance Company. Again, I never had a problem with Dr. Zaheer, or the Office Staff (Amber-very rude) until I asked for full refund for broken crown, and the tooth that needs to be surgically removed. IF YOU HAVE BEEN TO THE OFFICE, AND HAVE SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT TREATMENT PLAN, OR THE BILLS YOU HAVE RECEIVED, PLEASE SPEAK UP!

Thomson Drive Dental was referred to me and when I called yesterday afternoon they got me in today. Now that is service. The front desk staff was great and the x-ray tech/dental aid was great also.
