I'm shopping with my wife at this store the manager on duty has the nerve to tell us not to block her aisle "so people can get through" I told her that she should worry about opening another register, rather then worrying about blocking the aisle. 20 people in line and she has two registers open. The reviews on this store are all screaming rude staff, I live down the street from this place and I frequently shop here its not that bad. Yes sometime the store is shopped hard from kids rude customers who have no respect for retail workers. If you need help ASK, you shouldn't have to be babied while you shop grow up. The girls here are nice, Im always spoken to when I walk in there is usually a greeter. The new store is beautiful, super cute decor, and lots of space it even has mens wear. I must say this shop is always organize and neat. Have a good quality product of clothes with discount and more. I went in here just frequently because I don't like the attitude of their staffs. They don't even greet when there is customer, and they stare you like you are some kind of criminal. I don't know if I am being overreacting or what but this is how I feel whenever I shop here. I love Forever 21. This is definitely my go to store for casual but trendy clothes. I went in here last week and just like usual the store is clean and bright, organized and well stocked. I was glad that I was able to find new trendy pieces. I chose a few crop tops and wide leg jeans which was seriously my favorite as of now after watching tiktok videos and seeing that it really looks good. I like going in here for good quality clothes. Recently, I went in here and just like usual there are variety of clothes and good designs to choose from. I also found clothes with discounts which is really great and some that are buy one get on free option even if the prices are already reasonable as it is. I chose a lot of interesting items and decided to checkout. Then, here comes the downside. The staffs in here are literally unpleasant. They wouldn't greet you or anything and some would even stare at you like you are a bad person. Though this Forever 21 was recently renovated and just re-opened, it's still smaller than most and has far less merchandise. While it's a major improvement over the old space, this isn't a Forever 21 you actually make a destination. Rather, you stumble upon it like I did. My goal, when perusing the oh-so-frightfully messy racks of F21, isn't to find young club wear but to land upon the rare vintage-y looking frock or cool waist-cinchin' belts. And that's happened on occasion when I put a little time into my soul searching at the big stores on Michigan Ave. But, really quickly I learned that it wasn't going to happen here. What's up with the meager selection? Why put money and time into a massive overhaul when the goods aren't up to snuff? And, I noticed that quite a bit of the merchandise is already snagged or torn. I usually get a 'hello' when I first walk in. Usually. That's fine. No one ever asks me if I need any help or tries to push shit off on me. That's also fine. And...I enjoy their decent to good jewelry selection. That's it as far as pros. This place is always a mess. Stupid, crazy people (some teenagers, some older) come here and just trash it up. They come from two walks of life: the suburbs and the crowd that used to go to the original Brickyard before it closed down. Jewelry is tangled up, clothes are on the floor, a stupid mother and her ugly, slutty daughters are taking up the entire mirror...I mean COME ON! One of very many I venture in to to find a cute, cheap little something. Forever 21 is the place to try out trends without having to spend major $$$. As you may know, every Forever 21 is overwhelming to the senses. The one in the HIP is actually fairly small, and in a way, helps me concentrate on finding something without going crazy. And I try to come in the mornings on weekdays, when there aren't tons of loud, teens looking around complaining about how fat they looked in that top. This location is usually fairly organized, though I've never seen it UNorganized because I refuse to go here during peak hours! The staff is okay. There are never enough cashiers. And their return policy is complete crap. EXCHANGE or STORE CREDIT ONLY. JEWELRY and SALE ITEMS are FINAL SALE. However, I did learn that if you buy something from forever21.com and are unhappy, they do accept FULL REFUNDS. People complain a lot about the quality, but honestly if you look well enough, there are some good pieces that WILL stand up to WAY more than just one or two washes and wears. I will so NOT spend $98 on that Spring '08 BCBG top when I can find it for $23 at Forever 21. read more

Buyer beware! Heaven forbid a tag fall off an item when you try it on at home rather than bother with the pigs turn dressig rooms that are in the store. That item is now yours no matter if you have the receipt AND the tag at the counter. Is this policy clearly stated in the receipt; of course not! It's on a sign that is buried at the register under piles of random clothing, accessories, and other signage. Literally the worst customer service I have ever received. Trendy clothes for really affordable prices. Quality wise, it's a hit or miss. I've had things that have fallen apart in the washer and blouses that I've had for years. I agree with Jenna G., that I prefer HIP's smaller store. It's easier to navigate and isn't as overwhelming. This store looks as though it was recently remodeled (it's been a while since I've been here), but it still looks very much like a thrift store. It is very difficult to find anything, although they attempt to group items by category (florals in one section, crochet shirts in the other). The fitting rooms are pretty nice, though. I shop here at f21 all the time. But customer service is awful. I went there last time and one of my bikini tops was missing straps. I went today and tried to buy some clothing and get the missing straps at the same time. Two of the employees told me that i need to tall to manager. I went to the cashier to pay and told her if she could do something about the missing strap,she told me she cant do nothing and told me the total how much i owe her for the items. I was not happy with the customer service i was given so i did not bought anything and she told me she dont careless. She was very rude and she is the manager. The worst experience ever. This location is much smaller than alot of the other Forever 21's. Located inside the Harlem & Irving Plaza Mall (HIP), you don't have to worry about parking. The parking lot is pretty big and there's 3 floors of parking available. The selection of merchandise available at this particular location is reduced in comparison to others. The only reasons for me ever coming to this location is purly because of convenience since it happens to be the closest Forever 21 to me. The pieces they have are either horrible or awesome. They're either really boring, or really flashy. I never really necessarily loved Forever 21 because most of their clothes rip easily. However, if you search long enough, you'll find some clothes that can be re-worn. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 3 is because of the awesome customer service I recieved a few days ago. I came in here on Thursday, Dec. 30th and was shopping for my New Year's Eve dress. It was about 8:30pm and the mall closes at 9pm so I was in a frantic hurry or suffer the consequences and be stuck wearing a dress I already had. I immediately started picking out some dresses and as I wandered towards the back I asked one of the girls if there was other dresses available. She directed me to the fitting rooms and told me the girl in charge had more available in the back since everyone was trying them on. I went and the girl there (too bad I can't remember her name) told me to help myself and pick out whatever I wanted. There was about 4 racks to choose from and I only grabbed about 2 more dresses since I was in a hurry. I found this awesome leopard-print dress and then asked her for help on finding a shawl or something to wear over since I was gonna be outside part of the night. She walked with me all over the store picking out several different sweaters/shawls and eventually I really liked one of them. I was very pleased with my visit. I was able to find a dress and shawl to wear for New Year's in about 30 minutes and spent about $35 total. What a bargain! The dress & shawl are really cute and good material that don't rip easily. Too bad I don't remember the girl's name because she was extremely helpful and friendly! If it helps anyone, she's short (about 5' 3"), thin/toned, and has blonde neck-length hair. read more

I've been going to forever for a long time now since its really close to my house .I know most of the employess by face and one of the managers as well .Ive never encounter any problems with the store until this past monday .On friday last week i had purchase 2 dresses at forever @old orchard, didnt really liked the way they looked so i decided to exhange them for something else.I totally misplaced my receipt (which we all know that happens) and decided to stop by forever inside the harlem & irving plaza.Once i got to the register John (the manager) took care of me ,i was returning the dresses that i bought at old orchard last friday .I explain to him the whole issue about me not having the receipt ,the dresses had the tags on still and his answer was "i cannot do anything for you since you dont have a receipt for your purchase ,you have to go back to old orchard and give them the exact time & date that you were there and they will be able to pull a copy of your receipt ". I couldnt believe what he had just told me !!!! First of all i dont leave close to old orchard ,2nd you had a rack full of the same items that i was returning and they were not on clearance so why could John help me out ?!! i was very dissapointed with the treatment i received from john,and u call yourself a manager !! the funny thing is that when i did explain my problem to one of the sales girls on the floor, she mention that a manger will be able to help me out since they had the same items and once in a while will get some customers that have lost their receipts. Little did that girl know that her MANAGER JOHN had already told me that he was not able to do nothing for me .Seriously john ??! u should consider maybe taking a extra step once in a while on making a exception for customers,specially when the item still has the tag on .Not to mention that i spend at less $400 a month shopping at forever.if it wasnt for people like myself shopping at your location u would'nt have a job working there !!!! read more
