What a beautiful place this is. The gentleman at the counter was very nice, and he was really helpful. They have a bunch of Christmas related items here. The prices seem reasonable. They could elevate their business by probably carrying more Christmas related items, as I could not find any stars to place at the top of my tree. They should really carry more stars. They had one star, and it was just for decoration and not for sale. read more

We happened upon this shop when walking through Virginia City. I collect ornaments from all of my travels and have a travel tree at Christmas.  I was thrilled to find this store.  OMG.  It was incredible!!  The selection is second to none.  We spoke with the owner, who was so nice.  I bought a beautiful ornament.  I highly recommend stopping in this store if you are in the area.  It's beautiful! read more

We visited on .... Christmas Eve, as spending the afternoon wandering through Virginia City seemed like a good thing to do. I thoroughly enjoyed the shop. The proprietor was on the premises and we had a nice visit talking about keeping "The Christmas Spirit" going throughout the year. She has invented one of the neatest artificial Christmas trees I've ever seen: a tree-shaped spiral of grapevine cuttings, wound with garlands of artificial fir. Many ornaments can be displayed to good effect. She suspends her trees from a motor installed on the ceiling, so the trees are constantly turning. Normally I loathe artificial trees, but this conceit is really charming. The selection of ornaments is really great. And the shop smelled great. read more

Great selection of Christmas ornaments for souvenirs. I really appreciate the fact that they have "Virginia City" ornaments and I appreciate it even more that they have ones that has the current year on it. Located right on the main thoroughfare, C Street, so it's easy to find. read more

I'm not even a huge Christmas person but there's something about year long Christmas stores that sorta tug at my heart strings. Makes me nostalgic which is enjoyable sometimes. Small store but still filled with so many different decorations and options. I really loved looking at all the nutcrackers most! Have to agree with not great customer service though. Trying to not be too picky since we definitely weren't looking to buy anything but not even a hello and just felt like we were being *too* watched to feel comfortable staying too long lol but otherwise, cute place for a quick visit! read more

I was in this store last summer/fall I just couldn't believe this is called "forever Christmas" how in the hell do you have only one little corner that has anything to do with Jesus? Who puts day of the dead skeltons with little Cardboard caskets in a Christmas store? Halloween? Wizards and witches? This used to be a nice Christmas store but must have some new owners I guess. One more thing I noticed was almost all their "crap" is made in China? Cool store but no customer service! My 4 year old son(who can't read) touched one of the nutcrackers- didn't hurt it or anything, just barely touched it's beard. We told him not to touch any of the trees and the owner runs up behind us and said "Don't touch the nutcrackers either. That's why there's a sign!" Seriously? So rude. If you are going to run a store, maybe you should learn a thing or two about customer service. As much as I love Christmas, I won't be back. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

There is something unnatural of walking into a Christmas store and looking at all the decorations and music while wearing shorts and a tank-top t-shirt. But we thought it would be cool so in we went. Forever Christmas has everything you need for great decorations. It was a lot of fun to look at all the items for sale, from nutcrackers, to lights and designs. Since I try to collect nice and unique decorations for the tree, I went ahead and bought the smallest one which was quite a cute souvenir and it did cost $8.00. The prices are quite outrageous... the cheapest item was $8.00 and other decorations went as high as hundreds of dollars, just because you are buying it in Virginia City and not at your local store. So I did shy away from the rest of the stuff. But a nice visit with friendly employees who gave us ideas of where to go and what to see in town. read more
