They did a great job with the etching. The color is fading on the portrait so be aware that happens. It's been 5 years

Exceptional Funeral Services for My Father…read more Losing my father was one of the hardest moments of our lives, and I had no idea where to begin with arranging his funeral. From the very first call, the team made the entire process so much easier and more manageable for us. They guided us step-by-step--from helping us schedule meetings, to clearly explaining what needed to be done depending on the practices we chose (Catholic or Christian), to handling all of the important documents on our behalf. Their advice was always practical, honest, and rooted in experience. One thing that gave us tremendous peace of mind was knowing that my father would be cared for with dignity during his full-body repatriation to the Philippines. They ensured that he would arrive safely and properly prepared, and we are forever grateful for that reassurance. A special thank you goes to Tom Beddingfield, who was a true anchor through all of this. His patience, professionalism, and steady guidance made an overwhelming process so much easier for our family. I cannot thank him enough for a job exceptionally well done. We also want to highlight the incredible work of Dean DeBruin, who created my dad's video tribute. This was no simple task--my father had a massive and disorganized collection of photos totaling 16 gigabytes. Dean was unbelievably patient, kind, and accommodating through every revision and request. The final tribute was heartfelt, beautiful, and truly captured who my dad was. The coordination between the funeral team and the church was seamless. The staff communicated directly with the parish where we planned to hold the viewing and funeral mass, which removed so much stress from us. We are especially thankful to Fr. Francis, who reached out personally to learn about my father's life so he could honor him meaningfully during the service. We would also like to express our deep appreciation to Noriel P. Adricula, the incredible singer and pianist who provided the music for the funeral mass. His performance was heartfelt and beautiful--exactly what my father deserved. All who attended my father's funeral were in awe of how beautifully everything was managed--professional, heartfelt, and all at a very reasonable price. We felt supported every step of the way, and we are truly grateful for the care this team provided to our father and to us.

Christian and Tom handled everything with compassion and respect, from guiding us through the death certificate process to managing all the arrangements to send him from San Jose to Germany. What stood out most was how trustworthy and professional they were. Whatever they said, they delivered. There were no delays, no excuses, no frustration on our side, just everything taken care of exactly the way it needed to be. In a moment of grief, having people you can rely on makes all the difference. Beddingfield allowed us to focus on honoring my brother instead of worrying about logistics. For that, I will always be grateful. Five stars without hesitation.

It took more than 9 days including the weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Rainbow was encouraging. She gave me the time, 3 PM, so we could delay our plan i.e. postpone to a later day. In the meantime, due to my "cyclic telephone conversation with Kaiser", I stopped arranging for details like flowers and other services. I will be posting my ordeal with Kaiser separately, later. Since I was angry, frustrated and did not understand the complications for Kaiser refusing, I did not have the energy and could not "REPEAT the cyclic information I HEARD". So, I did not update my family after every single telephone conversation. At one point, others in "Santa Clara Funeral and Cremation Services" started questioning and became involved. I believe that due to their involvement, we achieved a compromise and I accepted "the work-around". Thank you, Rainbow, and everyone who supported me during one of the saddest periods in my life. Other funerals I've gone to, the staff members whether working in parking control, or guiding the pall bearers seemed more caring. They'll make sure the family's experience is emaculate, or at least almost perfect. Here, they don't greet you, nor at least try to assist the elders especially in the parking lot. They'll just stand there with a blank look to make sure you're okay... without even a smile. But they are seemingly professional with their guidance. Definitely not naturally charismatic. I hope they like their jobs. For me, it's been sad to keep experiencing loss of loved ones. We are getting older, and it's called the circle of life. Going back to the cemetery itself, the graves are quite scattered. You'll see clusters filled, and then empty spots steps away. The views of San Jose City is beautiful! Blue skies. Birds chirping, some wind, made my experience wonderful. Of course depending on the weather. The cemetery is still expanding into unused land. However, some nice homes are built directly across the street, where the lawn may be shared (literally). Luckily, I'm friends with Casper, and Poltergeist is only a movie. LOL. I'd say it's an average 3.8 stars experience.

Losing a parent is incredibly hard, but they handled everything with such a high level of dignity and grace that it truly eased some of the burden for us. Communication: From the very first call, I felt heard and supported. They were incredibly patient with all of my questions and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind. The Process: I found their approach to be very modern, transparent, and straightforward. There was never any pressure or "salesy" feeling, just genuine empathy and a focus on what my mother and our family needed. The Memorial: They helped us navigate the details for her memorial with so much respect. Everything was handled professionally, allowing us to focus on honoring her memory rather than worrying about the logistics. I am so grateful to have had their guidance during this time. If you are looking for a team that treats your loved ones with true honor and provides a seamless, compassionate experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I also really appreciated the honesty in their business model. I know it could technically be cheaper if they did every single thing in-house, but they intentionally use outside sources for certain steps to ensure everything is handled by specialists. I actually felt like I got more value this way because I knew I was getting the best possible care at every stage. It's also worth noting for other families that they don't have an embalming service; they focus purely on a dignified, natural process which was exactly what we wanted for my mom. For the majority of my work with them, they were extremely responsive, had good pass downs between shifts and team members, and worked to meet all our needs and timelines. They never pressured us into anything or upsold us. They just wanted to support whatever we needed. My family needed an expedited cremation and memorial all within a week of my family member passing and Honor Cremations was able to make that happen and get the paperwork done with the county in that timeframe. Honor's paid casket option was cheaper than other crematories and was a very nice, presentable casket. Honor does not embalm in house but has embalming providers they can work with. The only reason I would hesitate to select Honor again is because other crematories were more cost effective (up to $1000 cheaper for our package selections), but Honor did what they could to reduce costs and provide flexible options and offerings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others if service and empathy is a top priority.

We had a burial service on May 26, and a celebration of life on the 27th with his friends and former co-workers. The cemetery is gorgeous, and so much of the history of the Valley can be learned from the names, dates, and experiences of the people who rest here. It's not a sad place, it's rather tranquil, and a place where I truly believe people can "rest in peace". This place won't get bulldozed over for a freeway through eminent domain, either which makes me seriously consider purchasing a a space for my ashes here in the future. I don't plan on dying anytime soon, but it's good to have things prepared. When all of us began planning for his burial, the man who worked with us was honest, up-front, and respectful. Their record-keeping is great, which it should be. He's buried in the last space in the plot, which dates from the 1890s. They were really considerate about our needs, explained why things could, or couldn't be done, in a thoughtful manner, giving context when necessary. They know it's an emotional time, and are sensitive to what you're dealing with, while also being honest about things. The security/grounds staff are really great, too, and immensely helpful and pleasant to deal with. I know that when I come to visit, I'll be in good hands, in a beautiful setting. Since I had to bury the love of my life, I'm glad he's buried here.

This place is very conveniently located across from the parking structure in downtown Campbell. When we walked in, it was immediately a different vibe from what I've been accustomed to as far as funeral homes go. The interior of the space was really nice, clean, and well-lit. It was very modern & updated. It was a refreshing change to walk into a space like this and feel the lightness of the atmosphere vs. the heavy grief that perpetuates in a traditional older funeral home that tends to be more dimly lit and draped in warmer, more old-fashioned decor. There was ample room for the formal memorial and the reception that followed. The memorial was baseball themed to honor our friend and there was a food truck that was serving hot dogs outside in the back area of the space - it was nice that there was a side door that led people out there & that there was room to accommodate this. The staff were very attentive and kind. They were super-ftiendly & ready to provide support & assistance at the drop of a hat. It was nice to know that our friends/their clients were in good hands during a difficult time.
