Absolutely unprofessional! Signed up with a therapist in Feb she scheduled a block of appoints on…read morethe day I was NOT available. Only way to contact anyone was through appt line and therefore needed to cancel weekly. The one appoint in week 9 that I could attend, therapist cancelled. Switched therapists. Had a face to face initial consult and therapist said we would meet weekly but needed to skip first week. Appoint scheduled for week 3. During week 3 receive text saying appoint updated to week 4. Contact appointment line, they say it was sent in error week 3 appoint still there and week 4 appoint added. 30 min before Week 3 appoint receive cancellation text. No on available on appointment line to discuss.

I'd recommend a phone call or email interview with the therapist prior to scheduling anything in order to find out where they actually stand with regards to their beliefs. Especially when they charge $250/50min session. Needless to say, that's an outrageous amount to be charging an individual for a 50min session and I'll be cancelling any future sessions and looking elsewhere.

There is a staff member at the Angela Waterford hospice facility who is horrible. The first night I…read morearrived after-hours, frazzled and heart beating in my chest, she coldly opened the doors for me when the automatic opener didn't work, then coldly marched down the long corridors in silence- obviously annoyed that she had to leave her desk. I have caught her gossiping negatively with other staff members who, though mostly lovely, seem intimidated and unduly influenced by her military style meanness. There is very little family support at the Waterford facility (grief counseling once a month) and adding an unwelcoming, unkind personality to the mix during an already stressful and surreal experience is too much to deal with. There's a reason for the saying ''one bad apple spoils the bunch.'' She seems to be a ringleader... and her energy is a downer.

I don't mind though because I love helping people but I decided that I needed help navigating this thing called life too. My first encounter with Joslyn was very easy because she seemed to be able to relate with some of things I was mentioning and it made me feel comfortable. As our conversations grew I felt okay opening up because she always gave me suggestions on things I could do to cope or things to explore within myself. It was nice having a different perspective on how to view certain situations or feeling. I find myself feeling less overwhelmed nowadays and I've noticed that I don't feel as stressed as I use to feel! If you're looking for someone who is warm, personable and patient I would advise you to take a chance on Joslyn! I am very thankful that I did and I look forward to our sessions!
