I recently went to get my 13 yr old arthritic dog some more pain medication. At the time, when I was asked how he is doing, I said he was slow to get up and move around. The vet tech said, so lethargic? I answered, not really lethargic, just you can tell he doesn't want to get up. Apparently he writes in the file lethargic. At the appointment, another vet tech suggests $1000 in tests to better see what is wrong. The over $200 blood tests we did 6 months ago told us nothing. Two days after, I get a post card that my dog needs his rabies vaccination. I call up, said hey I was just there, no one mentioned he needed a shot, do I need to pay another $76 for a visit Just to get that shot? The very rude receptionist said, well you said your dog was lethargic, and we don't suggest vaccinations to sick dogs. I tried to explain the miscommunication, but it didn't matter. I feel tricked, like this was done on purpose to get more money. I used to really like it there. I guess after this dog passes, I will look for someplace new for my other dog.

Calista told me to come right away after explaining what the charge for an emergency visit would be. Didn't matter, I didn't want my kitty to suffer! They took him right in while I completed the paperwork. I'm new in town, so I do not have a veterinarian yet. I do now. They had him evaluated and told me he did have an abscess that had ruptured, but they had shaved the area, evaluated if it was in need of additional care, cleaned the would and felt he would be best served with antibiotics and an anti inflammatory to help him get comfortable. He is home, doing well, and I plan to use them for future care.

After paying more than $600, you couldn't take a look at my Baby, I was desperate, I reached out to a friend, she drove me to Juarez, Where I met an Angel of a VET, unfortunately I was too late, I wish I could of met Him Sunday. He moved quick swabbed my baby was negative, then he checked his Temperature, Super High, started IV said he'd have to stay the night. My Baby passed like 3 hours later. Did not take accountabletly for the death of my dog, but rather saying they paid for his cremations out of the kindness of her heart.. Cheech was a healthy puppy, with no issues. When she gave us the call that Cheech was not doing good and that we needed to go pick him up, she said that he has hardly breathing with blood coming out of his mouth. Of course we head out asap to go get my boy,, on our way to her shop, she finally answers her phone to which she says "im on my way to the eastside anaimal clinic with Cheech, meet me there!" When we arrive, which we were way farther than she was and still beat her to the vet! Calling her, telling her that we are there, already waiting! When I first got there I immediately ask for my pup.. front desk says she has no dog there by that name.. I let them know whats going on, she checks again and continues to tell me that there were NO EMERGENCY CALLS ! About 10 mins go by and she finally shows up.. my dog was still alive, struggling to breathe..my husband picked him up and took him inside immediately. Watching my dog struggling to breathe and suffer and them deciding to take my dog to her clinic, approximately 13 mins away from her shop, becuase she has credit there! (How she paid for cremation) Come to find out, there is a vet clinic only 5 mins away from her shop, one man that was there was the one supposedly bathing Cheech when it happened, so she was not there alone. Why didn't she take my pup to the nearest clinic as soon as she saw something was wrong? Cheech died of anaphylactic shock (fluid in the lungs). They go on to send a text saying "the vet said it could of been anything".. truth of the matter is, he was in YOUR CARE, YOUR SHOP. "Could of been anything" IN YOUR SHOP! Nothing was wrong for my pup to just all of a sudden die..

While there Dr Favis injected her with a heavy narcotic so she could perform unauthorized testing on the cat. The drug damaged my cat's kidneys. Favis offered to sell me prescriptive cat food that could lengthen my cats life! This was a perfectly healthy cat! She came home heavily traumatized, vomiting, severely dehydrated. Coincidently Favis has a vested interest in selling catfood. ​​ It's been 2 weeks since the visit. Cat only eats Temptations & HydraCare. Took this long to get her purr back. Dont let Favis anywhere near your cat. I sincerely believe she's a cat hater.

They gave my dog a Bordetella shot due to the fact I did not have one when my dog was dropped off. The facility is sparkling clean and very impressed with their outdoor play facility. Few things I was disappointed with; was the quality of the bath that I paid $50 for, think I could have done a better job myself. I also left a few messages regarding how my dog was getting along and it took days for them to get back to me. Also, paid extra for a king size suite so I could check the web cam once in awhile. The instructions they gave me did not work. Overall, I was impressed with the facility and most likely take my dog back.
