I decided to try New Hartford Shoes and Service since my parents still live in Utica, and I am very happy that I did. I guess there is a new owner and he was incredibly thorough. He repaired the issues that were requested, but he noticed some other issues that werent apparent to me and made sure that those issues were also repaired. During this visit I brought in a pair of leather heels that had an intricate design that was slightly damaged. I also had issues with the one of the heels. He matched the leather almost perfectly and you can't even tell the shoe was repaired. Unless I find a shop in Albany that has established the same level of quality standards and professionalism, I will most certainly continue to be a customer of New Hartford Shoe and Service.
