They have some of their original shirts but a lot of new stock too. I ended up buying another Saints shirt because you need to be able to wear black & gold for 2 weeks without a repeat, right? There were a few things that happened last year to prompt me to update this review and give you that much deserved fifth star. 1. I ordered gifts online for Christmas. Not only were they opened and greeted by my recipients with pure and unabated joy, you shipped them overnight. For no extra charge. Hello awesomeness. :) I realize that I'm right across the lake and all, but that is customer service at its finest. 2. I received a few gifts from you. Can I just say the merchandise is top notch? I had no clue that the soap (because I like to use soap) or the kitchen essentials (because I like to cook) were so fantastic. And here I was only shopping for tee shirts in your store. Silly me. 3. I found out you call your employees "Fleurty (insert first name here"). Can I come work for you guys? Please. I think that is adorable and I now make my kids call me Fleurty Mommy. Ok. My wife loved the bolt balm they sell, which is a glitter/aloe mix you put on your skin to glitter-fy yourself. If you're looking for a unique New Orleans themed gift, this is the place to find it. To give you just one example - if you've walked around the city, you've probably seen streets marked with blue and white tiles. Fleurty Girl sells those, too, and you can get it customized and framed. Pretty cool. Such a cool little store in NOLA! We both wanted to get something nice for our mothers and asked a local where we should go. He immediately recommended Fleurty Girl on Magazine and explained that it was a nice shop with some good NOLA flare. We popped by sort of early afternoon and didn't have much trouble finding paid parking right in front of the place. We were so surprised by all the items they offered! Tons of shirts and such that weren't too touristy and all not totally NOLA. It was a great shop full of witty knick knacks and clothing that was priced fairly reasonably. I've followed Fleurty Girl for many, many years from afar (used to live in the city). It's a fun store with a mix of fun New Orleans inspired gifts. I love that the store carries lots of locally made products. The shirt line with the witty sayings are always a big draw as well and seem to be the bread and butter of the business. I do have to agree with some reviews that some of the items the store has started to carry seem to be cheaper trinket type items that you could find in any of the souvenier shops in the French Quarter. While that's all well and good, people come to Fleurty Girl to find unique items local to the City. I hope FG continues to keep it local as that is what her store embodies. Customer service was a bit on the nonexistent side. Granted, it was early but the employee was a bit disheveled as if she just rolled out of bed. No real eye contact or interaction with us. She kept to herself, stuck to the counter and played with her phone. While I know not everyone is chipper 100% of the time, it's just not a good impression for the first timers visiting the store. Also, where's the fun music playing? It was silent and awkward while we were there. Pro tip- Double Stamp Tuesday on shirts only - make sure to get a stamp card ! read more

The staff was really helpful and offered friendly advice when my friend tried to decide which shirt he should buy (he's got a decent collection of Fleurty Girl shirts already!).
