You will do most of the legwork in terms of interacting with the vendors, but your contact at Weddings Inc is there to help you along the way as the sort of "umbrella contact" - answering any questions you may have about the process and helping to coordinate with the vendors if you need it. I was happy to have Ashlie there on my wedding day to act as the behind the scenes master of ceremonies. She kept things going at a good pace (while never over stepping her bounds) and helped with tips here and there during the reception to ensure things went smoothly. We worked closely with her for 10 months. She assisted with vendor meetings and maintaining vendor relations to facilitate a successful event. Our wedding day went exactly according to schedule, on time and was managed properly with a wide array of vendors. We stumbled across her card in a drawer (we must have gotten it at a convention a few years prior) and immediately looked up her website and it felt like fate. The wonderful combination of glamor and nerdiness was *perfect* for us and our wedding, and Debbie seemed to be the exact kind of 'geek' we could get along with. The first few meetings with her she was extremely personable and fun and we thought we were in good hands. Then she disappeared for a month and didn't reply to our emails. Since we were so far out from our wedding, we didn't stress. It was the holidays, and 2021 was the nightmare pandemic year, so if she didn't reply to an email in December, we weren't too worried. She eventually got in contact with us again in January and reassured us that she hadn't ghosted, but had simply gotten sick with covid. Debbie then told us it was time to get to work on wedding planning, and set up bimonthly check-ins for us, starting with a few vendor recommendations. She told us we needed to pick a photographer and a DJ, and gave us recommendations to choose from which we would do at the next check-in. Then she post-poned the check-in, apologized and rescheduled. Then she canceled the rescheduled check-in with a note that she had to cancel, no reason provided, no offer to reschedule. Then she didn't show to the following four check-ins (over almost two months), no notes, no apologies, no notice, and no response to any of our emails. We finally told emailed her that if she wasn't going to bother to show up to any of the meetings *she* scheduled, or even reply to our emails at *all*, we would have to find another wedding planner. She didn't respond to that email, but she *did* immediately remove us from her aisle planner account she had set up, proving she was at least reading them. I'm so infuriated but also honestly just... shocked she did this. I didn't expect this from her at all, given how wonderful her other reviews were and how friendly she seemed in the few meetings she did bother showing up to. Now my fiance and I have lost out on a good chunk of our wedding budget and are scrambling for a replacement planner and new recommendations (we don't feel comfortable using the ones she recommended to us, even if we never actually got to contact them). All in all, I would *not* recommend Fandom Affairs or Debbie to anyone looking to plan a wedding with any kind of communication with your wedding planner at all. I know we're still fairly far away from the wedding date, but hell, we would have even accepted a carrier pigeon. Perhaps a message in a bottle? A voice on the wind? Literally anything at all would have been better than absolutely nothing.

We had Deirdre and from our first meeting with her she didn't have any wedding ideas or visions. She basically went through a timeline and asked a bunch of questions, most of which we couldn't answer because my daughter has never had a wedding before. We hired a planner to do just that, help plan and guide us. We had a bad feeling about Deirdre and contacted Blush hoping they would give us someone else. They stood behind her. I wish we pushed it because our concerns showed up on the wedding day. Deirdre was hardly around at all during the entire wedding. Apparently she had an assistant whom we never met or saw. There should have been three people from Blush for a large wedding. We communicated to her that the couple wanted to attend the cocktail party doing photos before so that could happen. Deirdre escorted them to a room for a private cocktail time, which was nice, however she never went back to get them. They finally left on their own with little time to visit with guests. My daughter kept looking over her shoulder for Deirdre, as she witnessed during her friends weddings their planners were at the brides hip most of the time. During the ceremony she wasn't behind the bride to fix her dress before walking down the aisle. It was off to the side for the pictures. Worst bride nightmare! After picking out a perfect train and veil to have it crumbled up walking down the aisle. She also didn't come the rehearsal so Blush should have replaced her then with the planner who did, as that Is part of the reason things went wrong. Things happen so I understand her not being able to make the rehearsal, however there should have been someone at the wedding who did make it to the rehearsal. This totally falls on Blush. Deirdre gave the band and the DJ the wrong opening songs. We were never introduced to the catering manager, which I shouldn't have needed, but our table was out of water and wine during most of dinner and we had to get up and find a server because I couldn't find Deirdre. She should have pointed out the host table to the manager at least. The cake was cut and served on a side table but she didn't tell the band to announce it so the majority of the cake went to waste. We extended the after party and the bus to take people back to the hotel's till 12:45. At 11:30 she announced the LAST bus was leaving so people panicked and left. She was in charge of getting the card box to my car, however the box was a little small and some cards were left on the table. There are a handful of cards guests left that never made it back to us. BLUSH single handedly ruined much of the wedding that took over a year to plan, not to mention the expense. You rely on wedding planners to help make your dream wedding a reality, not to be stressed the day of and very disappointed. I called and left a message with Brandee a couple of days ago asking to return my call, but I haven't heard back yet.
