Forget Me Not...I won't forget you ever! We walked in and the place was small and honestly it didn't look like much. However the good smells, big smiles and cleanliness of the place drew us in right away! It is seat your self here and we went for a side by side table looking right out the front window.Very nice spot for a couple on a date! Celebrating our 21st anniversary and very hungry we dived right in to the menu. My wife and I both decided to go with omelettes! My wife went with the "Nittany".It has bacon, peppers, sausage and tomatoes on the top with cheddar cheese. The presentation was awesome and the flavor was even better. It was a well seasoned omelette. The breakfast potatoes were fried to perfection. I went with the old faithful which has bacon, sausage peppers, onions, white cheddar, and a hollandaise sauce on top yummy. These have to be the best hashbrowns I've had at a café, in a long time. They were moist and crispy on top well seasoned. Our server was a young chap well knowledgeable about the menu.He had tasted most of the food at the café, and had good advice! Talks a little too fast but it wasn't a big deal. This place is downtown Buffalo, close to the River.Parking is kind of tight. If you go early in the morning during the weekdays.I'm sure parking will be fine. I'll be back Forget Me Not Café because we cannot forget you

Such a cute breakfast spot! Cozy and casual. Lots of items to choose from. The servers were incredibly kind and friendly. It was pretty busy but it was to be expected for a Sunday morning. We sat at the counter and we had plenty of comfortable space. We ordered : - Hot Chocolate - 10/10 was super hot but the presentation was adorable! It was perfectly sweet. - MN Wild Rice Skillet - 7/10 we were just a little disappointed that even though this was on a skillet, it was the coldest dish. The flavor was good though! - Raspberry Lemon Pancakes w/ ham and eggs - 8/10 I really like that they give you the choice of bacon, sausage, or ham! Had to go with the ham and it was delicious. Eggs were prefect. The pancake combination of raspberries lemon was so good! There is a layer of a sweet lemon icing between the pancakes with fresh raspberries. - Side of hash browns - 9/10 crispy and salty! - Caramel Roll - 11/10 so good and sweet and soft! This was my favorite! Would absolutely come again to explore more of their menu.

You MUST visit this new cafe!! I've eaten here twice now and the food and service were AMAZING on both occasions! This small family owned cafe is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch! They offer a wide variety of fresh dishes. My first time I tried the vegetable omelet, gluten free pancakes and nisu roll. All were nothing short of amazing! I think I've developed an addiction to the nisu roll! On my second visit I had coffee, blueberry pancakes with sausage and eggs. Again, it was nothing short of amazing! Fresh blueberries in giant pancakes, what's better?! I can't wait to visit again and try something new! They offer gluten free and vegan choices, which is always great.

Harry Potter would not be disappointed here!…read more The Ettlin's Cafe was probably one of the cutest spots I've been in a while for its own unique reasons! This cafe is found in a quiet spot in the town of New Prague. The restaurant gives off small town vibes but their special drink flights are spectacular! Now, of course we chose to visit this place for their Harry Potter themed drinks and I am so glad we did. This cafe actually creates 4 themed drink flights! 3 unique coffee flights - Harry Potter, Star Wars, & Peanuts, and 1 boozy Harry Potter themed flight. The presentation of these flights were gorgeous! Each one comes out in a beautiful wooden deco box with different themed Harry Potter stickers on the sides; as well a fun character toy brought to your table - we had both the Sorting Hat and Dobby. The booze flight also arrives with one drink aflame! There is a drink designed per-house. Majority of theme were delicious. The one set on fire did have a bit of an off-putting taste to it due to the flammable component drizzled over top. Besides this, the drinks were very nice. Not a fan of any of the themed flights? Don't worry, they have a regular mimosa flight for muggles as well On to the food. I chose to order the #3 From the Hen (2 eggs, choice of meat, hash browns, and toast). The food was absolutely delicious and extremely filling. Let me put you on one really quick.... The sausage is out of this world, the best I have had in years! I had a moment to sing my praises to the owner and he clued me in that they actually get their breakfast sausage from a local butcher near by! This all makes sense. The sausage was HUGE great flavor, thick and juicy in texture. It reminded me of a true German sausage. I would come back for that breakfast alone! All love to small businesses supporting small businesses! Overall really enjoyed my time here! If you haven't been out to try Ettlin's I might suggest adding it to your list!

The cafe is remodeled and super cute with a fair amount of seating and the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. They have walk up service where you order at the counter and I just wanted a simple iced almond latte. I waited 20 minutes for it. And I was not the only one. The young girl at the front counter finally had to go in the back to find the barista because a lot of people were waiting for drinks. It's summer so a lot of iced drinks being ordered but they were not prepared and they ran out of lids for their iced cups so were using regular cups. And the latte literally just tasted like cold almond milk. :( I was already running late for my hair appointment because of the long wait so didn't have time to go back in to get them to remake it. I will not be going back there for coffee.

I walked in and saw you could either order on a large touch screen on with a person at the front. I don't mind touch screens, so I went to start my order. The problem is that there are no pictures... so you're not 100% sure what you are ordering. I stopped the order and walked over to the case to order with the employee instead. There was one woman in front of me and she got her items quickly. I ordered 5 items. (See pic below) All of them were fantastic! I really do judge a place by how well they can do a croissant, and this place does them very well!! The employees were very polite but for some reason my order took almost 15 mins to fill... I watched them pull the items from the case, so I'm not sure why it took them so long to do the order. There was only one other person who ordered after me and she had a drink and a box of pastries too... she received her items first. As for the space, it is bland and feels like an old Carribou coffee.... There really wasn't anything that felt "Paris or French" here. Very bland and not very cozy. If you plan on going(the food was very good) order it to go...

It comes in three flavors. We ordered the blueberry and let me tell you, KNOCK OUT! I wish I had only ordered that! I did order a breakfast special and it was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary for a breakfast joint. The food came relatively quickly and the portion size was big! Especially the pancakes. I had an awesome breakfast burrito and their awesome Tirimasu Latte (iced), and they have other offerings that will lure me from St Paul for future visits. But I'll probably come back for brunch on a weekend pretty soon and get more coffee, as well as something from their bakery. But also, yes, brunch; the eggs in my burrito were really perfect. I was there at around noon on a Sunday; peak busy times so parking was a little hairy but I eventually found a spot. I absolutely recommend coming with a bunch of pals and hanging out for a good long time, but maybe don't all drive separately if it's noon-ish on a weekend. I immediately started looking at coffee shops that I could relocate to in order to work. I had been wanting to go try Smiths for a while but the opportunity just never presented itself despite being just down the road. I arrived and the driveway leading to the parking lot was lined with cars, but I was able to find a spot in the parking lot after a minute or so. It was definitely a full lot for sure. The location is absolutely adorable as this is a historic house. It was once a Dunn Brothers, but I do love that it is its own thing now rather than a chain. They had a outdoor patio that people were enjoying but it was a bit chilly for working and sitting outside, one person even had a dog which I LOVE! Inside the front door you are greeted with a welcoming counter that you can order. I opted to try the salted caramel iced latte. If you are consuming there (which I was) they give you a number to bring to your table and they bring the drink. I really liked this idea especially in the aspect of not having to stand and wait for a drink. The price was a bit high (7.55 for a 16 oz with $1 tip), but then again everything is getting expensive these days. I walked back to the seating area and there are essentially 3 rooms downstairs, I walked through all 3 to see where working would be ideal. I went upstairs but there was a woman in the room so I assumed it was a group that was meeting or something so I opted to not investigate further. I found seating downstairs in what felt like the quietest part, but there were a lot of people there talking and the acoustics were not exactly fantastic. I did have a call which I took via teams and air pods and discovered the sound in the room was actually really not awesome for a meeting as it was quite loud and the wifi was not strong enough to support the video on the teams call. So would I recommend working from Smith, not if you have a meeting, but if you are looking for a place that has some background noise, I guess... However this is certainly a place that is perfect for meeting someone and enjoying breakfast or coffee and I love that. I did not order food this time, but everything I saw get delivered looked delicious. I also noticed they have a pizza night on Thursday nights and immediately made a note of that for a date night with the hubby.
