Sunday afternoon to get a burger. We were ignored 5 minutes, we almost walked out. The service is great - really friendly server, and she and the runner worked hard to take care of our large-ish group. It was a pretty busy when we went, and we had several pizzas in our group, as well as other items. It took a while for the food to come out, but they timed everything well, so we all got our items within minutes of each other. I've been to Norm's several times now, and everything I've tried has been great, from the Detroit pizza to sandwiches to fish. read more

Its been a number of years since we've been back but decided to give it a try while we were in the area for a Comedy Show being put on down the road. Its Norm's... Hwy 55 sports bar kinda place! We stopped in at 630pm and was greeted right away and warned they are down a cook. Shortly after we got our order in and about 2hours later...pizza's came out. Def a bummer when you dont drink and have that "entertainment" to kill time and its tooo late to go someplace else.. It was good pizza..and an unfortunate cook issue. Felt horrible for the server as it looks like she was running from one end of the bar to the other side of the restaurant. Have no idea if we'll head back here as we have friends that all live around here or plan to find another spot in a sistering town... read more

My friend told me to check Norms for some Detroit style pizza I am glad I did! We got the supreme sizzle small and it was perfect for two people (we had two left over pieces)! We also ordered the fried pickles which are speers and not chips. If you like pickle speers better you know they are hard to find!! The service was exception and our server was great!! Wow! This place just keeps getting better. The best pizza you will find! Worth the wait. They have car shows the 1st Thursday of the summer months and the interior decor has a fun vibe. We had a party of four and fabulous service from Linda. She managed a huge number of tables and was pleasant and efficient. Thank you Linda for showing up while help wanted signs are prevalent in many businesses right now. The food is delicious and the happy hour specials are a good deal. It gets busy and can get loud with everyone having a good time so if you are crabby and in a hurry, you might want to keep going....but then you are missing out on some yummy food! read more

Three strikes and your out. I went from loving their food and tolerating their horrible service to now hating both. We went back since we missed their Detroit pizza Saturday 1/7 and it took over an hour to get said pizza and it was horrible. Something was off with the crust and it gave us a horrible stomach ache when we got home. My daughter fries were barely fried - no body wants a soggy cold fry. After getting fed our horrible food and just wanting to go home it took another hour to get our check. They should really just keep it a bar with the apps and stop serving food. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Needs new owners ASAP read more

This used to be one of my favorite spots to drive up from the cities and have some amazing food and drinks. Although this past year I was a bit horrified when I walked in. First of all wow the political stuff was everywhere, to each their own views wise, but I can guarantee half of the people showing up will not come back. I unfortunately am probably one of them. The only reason I would've considered it would be because of their fantastic menu. However the usual Messy Burger I ordered was burnt and did not have the same taste I had grown accustomed to. Service was amazing and food was very good! I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was spicy (for my Midwest tastebuds). Anyone who likes spice will think it's mild. My friend had the spicy shrimp appetizer and gets it every time. I tried a couple of them and they weren't too spicy, more Cajun flavor. Had the Norm's brew beer, it was similar to a Mich Golden Light. Reviews weren't very good for this place so I was hesitant to try it, but I'd go back! read more

we frequent Norms 2 to 3 times a month. we ordered the chicago style pizza and it was burnt to the point of not enjoying it. Way better this time around! Fast service! Super attentive again! The food is fresh and made with love. We got the recommended Detroit style pizza and Was great! A tad more sauce and a tad less oregano (or whatever spice I'm tasting) and would be perfect! But great stop after golfing all day! We will be back! read more

Interior was good. Every thing was clean and had lots of features. Our waiter was nice too. We got our drinks and my sister got a kitty cocktail and it smelled and tasted like coke but got a lemonade and tasted like lemonade. I checked out the bathroom and it was so small and there were pictures of women in bikinis in there. I live probably 5 miles from Norms. Love the atmosphere and love the food. However, my one star rating is for service. We waited over 20 minutes for a waitress- that I had to waive over. Mind you in that 20 minutes, I personally cleaned off our table and another parties table, who were in the same boat, and grabbed menus. The waitress was so rude when she finally came over and basically yelled at me for grabbing menus. The service that day was enough for me to never go back. I love giving back to my community, but Norm's is not worth it. Our entire visit took two hours for one pizza and cheese bread. Go elsewhere. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love heading out of the city and going to places like this. Our group stopped out on a recent Sunday. The menu looked awesome - burgers, pizzas, sandwiches. Unfortunately, we were there on a Sunday at noon and they serve breakfast until 1! I don't want breakfast at noon on any day of the week because burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches are much more delicious, in my opinion. The beer list was good as some have noted. There is an indoor typical bar roadhouse atmosphere, and an outdoor covered deck, plus open air patio. From the deck you can see a local gal pulling up in her boat in a bikini :) J/K it's a mannequin. I would elevate the review to three stars if they did one simple thing - clean all the cobwebs that were well established by the tables on the outdoor deck. Have eaten at Norm's a couple of times while in Buffalo (pre-covid) and stopped in once during covid, but left after seeing no masks or other recommended safety measures used by the staff etc). Drove by the other day to see a huge sign out front, 'Gov Walz is a Dick Wad'. Assuming this is the owner's response to Walz closing restaurants due to spiking covid cases and deaths. It's businesses run like this that directly contribute to the spike in covid cases and deaths. Ideally, natural selection will prevail and businesses like this won't make it post-covid. read more

Went after work, with co workers. Corned beef sandwich was literally the best I've ever had!! Corned beef had different spices, flavor than any before. Excellent beer selection and its COLD! Coworkers had cocktails and commented they were great and strong.... A couple days later and we had Norms provide lunch for our company training, they provided racks of ribs...AWESOME RIBS!! We have lived near Norm's since it opened. I'd say we're batting .300 on whether we've stayed to eat out of the 15 or so times we've gone there. Food is great, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the food and would recommend it for sure. It's either closed when it should be open or the service is so bad we walk out before even order drinks. We have been here twice. Both times ordering their pizza because we heard it was good. We ordered the Detroit style a couple weeks ago and it was very dry so we decided to order the hand toss this time, the Wayside specialty. We got the pizza and it looked great, but then started eating and it seemed like there was no sauce and all we could taste was onion. We asked the waitress for a side of sauce and by the time we got it, it was 15 min later and the pizza was cold. We just packed up the pizza and took it home to reheat and put more sauce on it. The waitress knew she took a while for the sauce because when she brought it to us she apologized and ignored us the rest of the visit until she brought us out tab and box. read more
