Everything looked great until the end of the first night when my son noticed the grounding pin had been broken off in the charging cable. The first and second night it charged fine. The morning of return pickup we noticed the unit had not totally charged. I made sure meet the rental staff when they picked it up to inform she. She frankly immediately copped an attitude and said she would charge us for the cord and also for not having the unit charged up on pickup. She indicated we should have called immediately when we noticed. Bottom line, I understand both sides, but we were honest and felt like we were accused of lying. I don't care about the extra charges if warranted, but we didn't damage the cord. They provide great carts. My suggestion? Double check everything and pester the crap out of them if anything is not working. They deserve 5 stars, but copped an attitude. We're not all stupid tourists....

The golf cart was brand new, and very fancy. Gina was very informative in explaining the operation of the cart, but more importantly, she explained the local laws to avoid gettin trouble. We rented our cart shortly after a tropical storm, and I don't know if all the water on the streets made our lights go out. We called, and they immediately responded by bringing us another cart. With the weather conditions the way they were, I am not surprised by the issue we had. Things happen, but it was very impressive on how responsive they were on helping us and switching to another cart. I firmly believe that you find out more through adversity than when things are trouble free. I highly recommend Rally By the Beach, and will definitely use them again when in Panama City Beach. We rent a golf cart at least once each time we come down. This is *THE* place to rent a golf cart in PCB! The process of checking out and returning the vehicle was as easy as it could possibly be. Yet, it does not happen very often. My wife and I just booked a House in Destin for mid-October. I wanted a golf cart. By the way, I used to live in Destin so I knew, the Golf Cart was very important. I called two places. The second was Beach Better Golf Cart Rentals. I got a message however it said I could text them on that number. I did and got a reply back in less then two minutes. The prices were more then reasonable and I could take care of the entire transaction online. Now for the rest of the story!!!! The home we rented is one of my personal friends. I asked him which Golf Cart rental place he uses. He said, "None". The home comes with a six passenger golf cart. So I did not have to rent a golf cart after all. BUT, when I do and that will happen, this is the ONLY place I will consider. The world needs to remember that we clients just want professionalism and prompt communication. We will pay more to get it. Customer service is the key.

The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful by going to another location to pick up the trike I wanted to rent. The Schwinn trike was in very good condition and worked without problems. The cost for 24 hours rental was less than $25. I definitely would rent equipment from Beach Bum Essentials if I'm at St. George in the future.
