If you like adventures, books, and finding treasures in piles you will love this spot Parking: There's plenty of parking and when I stopped by at about 530pm on a Thursday there was only 1 other person there Selection: The selection is huge ! From kids books to vintage and everything in between. They even have comic books. There are several rooms to explore and the books are literally floor to ceiling Some areas are overwhelmed with stacks of boxes of books which is fun, but not always ideal (especially the stacks at the front when you enter- it's a bit chaotic) Prices: Prices are very reasonable (at least in the few books I looked at ) Unfortunately I didn't stay long because their AC was out making it too hot for me personally to stay in there. They said they had it scheduled to be repaired so I'll need to make another trip to really deep dive into this treasure trove

I was so excited when I actually found the book I was looking for and ended up walking out with that book +6 others that I couldn't leave the store without lol. The sweet lady who owns the store was very friendly and helpful. From now on this store will be my first stop when I'm hunting for a book!

You'll immediately see shelves of older, vintage style books. If you love history, natural sciences, Texas, art, etc, this shop is especially for you. While I personally would've loved to have seen more in the fiction and literature areas (it's admittedly not their specialty), there is definitely something for everyone. From rare collectibles, to bargain priced paperbacks, this shop is a quiet, fun stop worth giving yourself some extra time to browse all the shelves. And that old book smell just can't be beat! No candles in this store. Its authentic! Check it out. Shop local. Enjoy the charm and smile of the proprietor. In an Amazon Prime society, this shop invites you to slow down and remember that people are what make magical places like this truly magical.

It felt like a quiet sanctuary filled with pages waiting to be turned. When I shop for used books, most of the time I'm not looking for anything in particular. I love to go for the thrill of finding something I didn't know I needed. The owner was helpful by way of suggesting some books that just came in. He went to the back of the store and brought the box to me. I didn't find anything additional to what I'd already chosen. Being a book lover, it's hard to say no but I also find pleasure in building my to be read book list. The prices are fair. I bought two books for under $10 which made my book-loving heart (and budget) very happy.

I love supporting bookstores, new or used. This Barnes & Noble will definitely be seeing me soon…read more They have a wide selection of books from many genres to choose from. While there I discovered their Travel Writing section which I didn't know existed. These are two of my favorite categories to explore. I found a book that I'm excited to dive into. It's been a book on my to be read list for a year now. And, there are many others I'm looking forward to buying soon. Sure I can buy these books online for half the price but if you're interested in supporting the lifespan of bookstores (like me) then you don't mind paying full price. The book I purchased was reasonable for a brand new book that was published just last year. Upon checkout, the bookseller was very helpful getting my daughter signed up with her own membership. To me, they truly value the customers that choose to walk into a bookstore when they know they could easily purchase their books online.

My kids love the kids section even though they can't read but they sure do know to pretend real well. It almost like a one stop shop here because you can buy toys, dolls, figurines. Always a great place to go to for Harry Potter items. I do love that I have been seeing them step up their game on more spray edges and special editions. They just feel so one of a kind! I would like to see kiosk around the bookstore so that you can find out what genre of the books you are looking for. I know there is an info desk but sometimes I've gonna to far in and don't want to go back. There is also a me problem of telling myself " I'm pretty sure I can find it" When I was in college many moons ago I use to study here and it's such an awesome study vibe. I knocked out a star because there no longer is a Starbucks. Honestly it doesn't have to be a Starbucks....I just loves being able to snack on something and sip on a beverage while looking for books. Plus this location misses out on that $5 book deal when you buy any cafe item. Never had issues with parking it's a shared parking lot but they get the corner of the lot so plenty of parking. The employees are friendly, helpful, and are truly fellow book lovers.

Parking- easy, shared spaces with the commercial strip of businesses. Drinks- they had a holiday menu of options. But they all looked kind of sweet to me. I went with the brown sugar espresso (with sugar free syrups). I did not want it overly sweet. I meant to say half a pump rather than a full one. Will remember that for next time. But I appreciated the sugar free option of syrups. When we first walked in we saw the wall of books. I actually was looking for a book, but they didn't have it in stock. But they recommended that I can go online and order. The nice staff member also said they have a lot of community events that they post. There was a book meet up that upcoming Sunday. Service- Kayla was our barista and she was wonderful. When I received my order it came out iced. But I had actually wanted it hot. She went back and changed it to hot - with zero hassle and a smile, very nice. Patrice was another wonderful staff member that walked us through the bookstore space and shared info about there event calendar. There was a few kids in the Readers to Leaders area. And couple of others enjoying the space. They had some work space tables and couches. I can tell they are really trying to make an impact into the community. With lots of cool events. When in the area, I am definitely coming back to support this Black owned business. Wishing them well!
