I went to the register-same attitude-as if waiting on people was a chore. I can go online and find used books. Every once in a while it is nice to go into a real store. Management...train your workers to be mindful of this. Thrift Books and Abe Books online are more convenient and often cheaper than Half Price. So, when I make the effort to go to Half Price I should be treated with common respect.

He went to the back of the store and brought the box to me. I didn't find anything additional to what I'd already chosen. While there I discovered their Travel Writing section which I didn't know existed. These are two of my favorite categories to explore. I found a book that I'm excited to dive into. It's been a book on my to be read list for a year now. And, there are many others I'm looking forward to buying soon. Sure I can buy these books online for half the price but if you're interested in supporting the lifespan of bookstores (like me) then you don't mind paying full price. The book I purchased was reasonable for a brand new book that was published just last year. Upon checkout, the bookseller was very helpful getting my daughter signed up with her own membership.
