You'll immediately see shelves of older, vintage style books. If you love history, natural sciences, Texas, art, etc, this shop is especially for you. While I personally would've loved to have seen more in the fiction and literature areas (it's admittedly not their specialty), there is definitely something for everyone. From rare collectibles, to bargain priced paperbacks, this shop is a quiet, fun stop worth giving yourself some extra time to browse all the shelves. And that old book smell just can't be beat! No candles in this store. Its authentic! Check it out. Shop local. Enjoy the charm and smile of the proprietor. In an Amazon Prime society, this shop invites you to slow down and remember that people are what make magical places like this truly magical.

It felt like a quiet sanctuary filled with pages waiting to be turned. When I shop for used books, most of the time I'm not looking for anything in particular. I love to go for the thrill of finding something I didn't know I needed. The owner was helpful by way of suggesting some books that just came in. He went to the back of the store and brought the box to me. I didn't find anything additional to what I'd already chosen. Being a book lover, it's hard to say no but I also find pleasure in building my to be read book list. The prices are fair. I bought two books for under $10 which made my book-loving heart (and budget) very happy.

I love supporting bookstores, new or used. This Barnes & Noble will definitely be seeing me soon…read more They have a wide selection of books from many genres to choose from. While there I discovered their Travel Writing section which I didn't know existed. These are two of my favorite categories to explore. I found a book that I'm excited to dive into. It's been a book on my to be read list for a year now. And, there are many others I'm looking forward to buying soon. Sure I can buy these books online for half the price but if you're interested in supporting the lifespan of bookstores (like me) then you don't mind paying full price. The book I purchased was reasonable for a brand new book that was published just last year. Upon checkout, the bookseller was very helpful getting my daughter signed up with her own membership. To me, they truly value the customers that choose to walk into a bookstore when they know they could easily purchase their books online.

Of course I feel instantly happy once I walk in and breath in all the books. All the books nicely…read moredisplayed and neatly organized and cared for. My kids love the kids section even though they can't read but they sure do know to pretend real well. It almost like a one stop shop here because you can buy toys, dolls, figurines. Always a great place to go to for Harry Potter items. I do love that I have been seeing them step up their game on more spray edges and special editions. They just feel so one of a kind! I would like to see kiosk around the bookstore so that you can find out what genre of the books you are looking for. I know there is an info desk but sometimes I've gonna to far in and don't want to go back. There is also a me problem of telling myself " I'm pretty sure I can find it" When I was in college many moons ago I use to study here and it's such an awesome study vibe. I knocked out a star because there no longer is a Starbucks. Honestly it doesn't have to be a Starbucks....I just loves being able to snack on something and sip on a beverage while looking for books. Plus this location misses out on that $5 book deal when you buy any cafe item. Never had issues with parking it's a shared parking lot but they get the corner of the lot so plenty of parking. The employees are friendly, helpful, and are truly fellow book lovers.

My husband frequents this shop but I've been in maybe once in the last few years. Until recently…read moreshopping for Christmas gifts did I decide to check out their selection and I was pleasantly surprised by the huge variety they carry for all ages. When I saw Bluey books displayed I was surprised as it's not something a "comic book"/"nerd" shop is going to carry especially since they have a lot of independent TTRPG games I'm not familiar with. Then I found their youth selection of books -Goosebumps to The Babysitter's club to horror genre for young adults. They're not just a shop that caters to Funko Pop Culture to get by so they can have their Indy games and Call of Cthulhu game sessions. The staff was so helpful in giving me a ton of information and helping me with my needs. I had so many recommendations and they knew what they were talking about. I love that this place is about cultivating from a young age a love of books. I highly recommend this store over the other "nerd" stores in the surrounding area. I've been to them and was so disappointed with their selection of games and books and also the lack of professionalism.
