I was so excited for this internet. I am not an ex comcast employee like some might say below. I am a normal Fort Collins resident. We pay for a gig 1000 and are getting about 90 to 80 upload and download speed, even hardwired in. We have been going back and forth with customer service and technicians at our house. Every time we try to escalate to a supervisor or manager, we are told no one is there that can help us and they will call us. We still have not gotten a call. There are two of us in the house that work from home, this is literally our lively hood. We had an appointment for another tech to come to our place, and they canceled it without telling us. They sent an email after they were supposed to be here. They don't really seem to care about customer service at all. read more

I feel like a lot of these reviews are written by Comcast employees. We switched from Comcast cable to Connexion and there's simply no comparison: despite similar advertised upload/download speeds, Connexion is objectively faster and lower-latency than the Comcast connection while being similarly-priced. The static IP option is just $20/month more, whereas we would have to shell out for the Comcast business plan. Upload speeds on Connexion are like, 5x what they are on Comcast. read more

woohoo! FINALLY the long await high speed internet has arrived at our house and my family is beyond ecstactic! With school being online this year, or a lot of it, and our very slow slow internet through centurylink we are so happy we finally have something that is able to keep up with current needs! The customer service was VERY friendly and so easy to make an appointment with. We had to make some extra phone contacts since my husband travels for work. And that all went smoothly. They approved the set up process based on when he was last home. It was easy to get a date. We got a date a few weeks out from when we called to get service hooked up. The service guy came and was very professional and got it all hooked up and turned on in under an hour for us. Currently due to covid, if you are going to interact with their employees you do need to wear a mask. but its pretty minimal. We were so thrilled when we saw the door hanger on our step that we were ready to go. They also have a way you can get an email when connexion service is ready for your house. The internet is working awesome! We are SO happy and we highly recommend this service! read more

If you like slow internet and a provider that will completely trash your property, look no further. The installation process has been an absolute nightmare . The City's incompetent subcontractors have absolutely no regard for your property. They ran a giant black wire straight across the middle of the white wall on my front porch and around the door, driving probably a hundred screws through my siding. When they came back out to "fix" it, they refused to take it down because it will leave screw holes... of course it will, that's part of the problem! They caused thousands of dollars of damage to my house and have not worked to resolve the problem. All for internet that's worse than Comcast. read more

Every day and I mean every day while I am watching TV, I get the blue circle and then an error appears on the screen to try again or cancel. Such a bait and switch. I signed up for Fort Collins Connexion in August 2022 (as soon as it was available on my block) because of the competitive rates $59/mo and speed (1Gbps). Now, just 7 months later, Fort Collins Connexion raised its prices about 20% to $70/mo. Even Comcast would not raise rates so quickly and by so much. I know that Fort Collins Connexion is over budget and way behind on its installation through our city, but it should not tout its value to new subscribers and then jack up prices once we sign up and buy new equipment (which is necessary because unlike Comcast, Connexion's Wi-Fi router is too week to provide full home coverage). While Connexion's 1 Gbps speed is nice, normal home streaming only requires about 600 MBps for multiple tv's, computers and smart phones. So back to the process of shopping prices for fungible services.... Such a disappointment. read more

Great customer service! We had an accidental slice to our line in our yard. I called at 5pm one evening, got a LIVE LOCAL service rep within 2 rings on the phone. He walked through what I'd already tried and we knew it was likely a slice in the yard. Promised a message first thing the next morning re: appointment time. By 7-8am I had a text with a 10am-12pm appointment time. A tech came and assessed by 10:30. Promised someone here shortly after 1pm. At 1:30 another tech arrived, and by 3pm things were fixed, and up and running. Less than 24 hours after an incident WE created. I believe their names were Scott and Evan and I'm sorry if I got that wrong! Really grateful for the local, timely attention. Even more so-- they told me what to expect, and delivered what they said they would. KUDOS and thanks. read more

I signed up as soon as I could for this service since it was such a great deal but unfortunately it has slowly gotten worse and worse. I noticed early on that I was having to reset my modem/router on a bi-weekly basis at the modem/router that I purchased from them because I was not getting any internet connection. The modem/router has a light that indicates if there is a drop of signal when it turns red but 95% of the time the light would be blue which would indicate that there is a signal and the connection is good but I still would not have internet. Then came the issue with certain apps, it refuses to load apps such as Disney+, HULU and ESPN. For example, I can have Disney+ & many others running on my phone using 5G and it works fine as soon as I switch to my WiFi it refuses to work. The screen goes blank and nothing loads. On my FireTV I have to manually reset the modem every single time for Disney+ to work and even in the middle of a movie it will freeze the movie and say no connection even though it is the ONLY thing running on my 5Ghz speed but everything else will work fine. The saddest issue is that I have emailed a couple times with zero response. Hope this helps. read more

Hard to rate, because the service itself is quite good, but the installation process is terrible. There are many people involved in the install, and they don't coordinate with each other, much less with you. I was very proactive and I barely got an acceptable install. My mother in law was less lucky, and they put the ONT in a very different spot than she requested. Now we have to try to get them back out to put the ONT in the place that she requested (the obvious place -- in the basement where all the network cables for her house terminate), rather than the place that was the least work for them. read more

We signed up to get Connexion service. They ran the line to our house, set up all the exterior parts needed, then when the installer showed up he said he couldn't do the install and put the modem in our office (where our current modem is) because we have a finished basement and they don't fish lines. Only option was setting the modem in our living room - not an acceptable option for us. Installer said every house is different so they never know if it will work until they get there. You would think a home consultation would be a 1st step, not a last step in the process. The money spent on labor and supplies was wasted - your tax dollars at work. Might be good questions for you to ask before you sign up for the service to see if it's a possibility for your home. read more

Super rude customer service people. They talk super fast, too. I'm from the east coast and accustomed to fast talkers, but I had to ask both reps I spoke with to slow down and repeat things. I don't care how great a deal is their internet service. I won't tolerate being treated so rudely. I'll be sticking with Comcast Xfinity. Sure I have to pay more, but I don't have to deal with rudeness when I contact them. read more

I've spent over a year and half working with our HOA to get Connexion installed to our MDU's. At one point, Connexion was communicating with me and our HOA about getting it installed. A year ago, we were told we would get a pilot setup completed. They came and installed the infrastructure over 69months ago. Since then, they have not responded to any communications. I'm not sure what's happened, but this entire deployment has been a nightmare. The lack of communication about future installations was completely unnecessary, and caused many residents to sign long commitments to comcast without knowing when the service would be available. I was really looking forward to supporting my city by utilizing their services, but my money is now being sent to a corporation. read more

I have had Connexion since it was first available. The installation was excellent and done quickly. I have had no downtime that I was aware of since it was installed two + years ago. I've been good comments about Connexion and the 'product'. But today (9/8, late morning), when we'd finally decided to make the switch, we found customer service to be sadly lacking. Make that absent. (a) Parking is almost non-existent. (b) The "reception" area has one single chair. (c) The young man behind the glass window was less than helpful. In response to his "what do you want"? we explained that we wanted to signup for a Connexion account. To his "you do it on the phone", we explained that we'd like to speak with a rep, as we both found the online & phone protocols confusing and had questions. We'd been told (phone) that we could just come in and someone would set us up. We were not shown into another office or offered any other information. This young man was the only person in the office, and people were stacking up behind us to pay bills,etc. So we left and headed to the Comcast office. I have read some of the reviews, and I cannot believe how different my experience was and is. The contractor for trenching and placing our box was quick and efficient. I watered my lawn where they trenched, for me that was common sense but not for some of the other reviewing customers it seems. My lawn is fine. They tucked and hid the wires and you would never know there was a fiber line around my house. My service was only interrupted once and I later found out it was a wide outage for many other companies even in Denver. My internet speeds are amazing! The Cust Serv on the network side is knowledgeable and friendly. The person I talked to wasn't googling anything, they knew what they were talking about. Customer Service for my bill has always been top notch. When a rabbit chewed through my fiber line, the technicians that came out were fast, super friendly, efficient and made sure everything else was good. The price is right, and they are LOCAL customer service reps helping if you need it. read more
