One of the larger exchanges I've been to or seen. The post exchange section is more or less the same in terms of content and stock compared to others across the Army. Facilities are kept fairly clean and employees seemed professional and efficient with their roles. This exchange has other shops within the building more unique to Fort Eisenhower and they are worth taking a look. Food court seems bigger as well with the option of Smoothie king, so if you're on base, stop by for a açaí bowl! The food court is very crowded and hardly ever has seating due to how over populated every where is, but that's Eisenhower in general. Overall a good PX and worth checking out for your essential needs. read more

I've been to this PX a couple of times while up in Augusta and in my opinion, this PX is a nice one. (PX is short for Post Exchange in military language and depends on what military branch/post you're on, NEX for Navy Exchange, CGX for Coast Guard Exchange, BX for Base Exchange which is usually Air Force etc etc) It seems pretty new and is a lot nicer than some of the other PXs I have been to. (Not all exchanges of the different branches are created equal, I know, it's complicated). The Exchange main store is a pretty decent size and has all the basic things I would expect from one. For non-military folk, these exchange stores are like small department stores for military families wherever they are stationed in the world. The Mall Complex for Fort Gordon includes a Military Clothing Store (MCS), a Class Six Store (liquor), and the following operated services: Dry Cleaners & Alterations, Tactical, GNC, GameStop, Enterprise Car Rental, UPS, and a Pharmacy. The food court includes: Starbucks Popeye's Boston Market Charleys Taco Bell Subway Arby's During the pandemic, the seating area of the food court is closed, but all of these places are still open for take out! There was a time you would save money shopping at the exchange, but between the much higher prices, poor options and the staff not willing to help when you ask for assistance, it's not worth the trip. If you need help, you better go to customer service because the floor staff doesn't make the time for you in electronics. read more

I would like to update my review. My last review was not as detailed. I've been shopping here since I was a teenager (1990's, yeah... I'm old!) PX has come a long way. My mom has been an employee for the Post Exchange for more than 25 years and I've always been happy with the products bought there (shoes, clothes, etc). I agree with some of the reviews that sometimes they do not have certain name brand items in stock. Eventually they will. I would rather wait then to pay full price and on top of that, it's tax free! Can't beat that! Over the years, I noticed small changes. Back in the day, they did not have a food court and the PX was at another building. Now Fort Gordon has renovated and expanded the store. I am really impressed with the new changes. They now have a toy section, hardware, home/garden, furniture, and recently a Christmas section (seasonal). They are slowly improving the parking lot and some sections in the building are still under construction. I appreciate that when I come home (now residing in Cincinnati), I'll have a place to go shopping and get good deals. This PX is fairly decent. They have an actual Starbucks, not the "Service Starbucks" coffee... you all know what I mean. They have closed down the food court to dine-in patrons due to COVID, and are offering curbside and takeout. The PX itself, has your typical merchandise, brands, decent workout clothing, gear, etc. Can't complain. I've seen worse. read more

Finishing christmas shopping and a little lunch in the food court. As mentioned in my previous review this is a great place to shop. A steady flow of shoppers during the week at this time of day. All venders on board ready to offer their goods at reasonable prices. Clothes, jewelry, flowers, oils and household what nots. No extremely long lines today. Not a bad exchange overall. It is new-ish and has a decent food court and related services. The parking lot is a bit small. The electronics section is decent, but they are only so-so on inventory. read more

If you been to one exchange normally they all are similar. Some are better than others. Fort Gordon's is an average exchange. The food court has a variety of fast food options to appease anyone's palate. The food court consists of Boston Market, Popeyes, Subway, O'Charley's, and more. There's a Tropical Smoothie Cafe opening soon. There's also a Starbucks inside as well. It's congested during lunch time which is to be expected as well as the beginning and middle of the month. The Exchange itself sells everything from clothes, food, household goods, electronics, and more. Great spot to stop by and grab things for less. read more

As I am stationed on Fort Gordon, I do make the occasional trip to the PX and the food court. There is nothing special about the PX, really. However - since they have remodeled it (versus 5 years ago when i got here), it's a ton better. Everything is much nicer and cleaner, they've added a Boston Market, Starbucks, GNC, Subway, etc. Overall, I don't really feel one way or the other about the exchange, but you can get what you need here. read more

This is a pretty average PX. The stuff they sell and the stores attached are the same as everywhere else. The food court just added some health food place and the rest of the places in the food court are your standard food court restaurants. The place is always packed and they only ever have like two cashiers on duty at a time so the lines are always long. At any given time during the day there's at least 7,000 AIT students in the PX because apparently the trainees never do any training they just live at the PX. The amount of parking spaces available is inadequate. If you go around lunch time parking is a nightmare. Good thing the AIT students aren't driving there or you'd have to park at the commissary to get a spot. And for all you nerds out there like me, the PX is a PokeStop, but you have to go back by the guns to get it, or I do at least. read more

What can you say about the post exchange. This the first exchange I came too, that you have to change your own battery on your watch. It's always good to go by the clearance aisle. I found al lots of good stuff their. Everything is well organized. Almost they price match with other store.. Don't forget you never pay tax. Why does the checkout lines look like Walmart. Small selection. Not much food or snacks. Prices aren't very cheap either. With growing up in San Diego, I've experienced the Navy Exchange and it is a ton better than the Ft. Gordon PX. I would recommend going somewhere off post for most things. read more

We have visited a few times since moving here. Our family enjoys the food court and vendors in the hallways.

I think this PX is smaller. Though, great service. Everything is organized and neat.

It's the exchange. Better than some I have been to. I'm glad that I dont have to pay tax.

Currently partially under construction. They're putting in a boston market, which is the first time I've ever seen that. All in all, I can't say I complain at all. It's a nice little PX and it looks very sharp after all the work they've put into it. I look forward to seeing what they finish doing with it. read more
