For months, I made repeated phone calls, left multiple voicemails, and sent multiple emails, and I still could not get a timely response. From the start, I felt ignored and dismissed, and that set the tone for everything that followed. After I signed the lease, I expected things to improve, but they did not. I was given no notice that the garage would be paved, and I moved in with a U-Haul full of furniture only to find the garage closed, and the area congested with cars along the one-way. For weeks, I was stuck parking outside in the elements on a narrow street while still paying for two garage spots and expensive monthly parking fees on top of high rent. That was a frustrating way to start living somewhere that is supposed to be a luxury apartment community. On move-in day, my apartment was not even cleaned yet. The floors were dirty, and there was still leftover material from what appeared to be a previous tenant. I was forced to leave my furniture, clothes, and other belongings in the hallway until the apartment was cleaned. That was an unacceptable way to begin living there. I also personally dealt with the smoking policy not being enforced. I regularly smelled weed in the building, and there were times when the fire alarm went off late at night and in the early morning hours. In my experience, the alarms were not shut off until the fire department arrived. An email notice went out, but I did not see any real enforcement after that. I also found mold on the dryer when I moved in, which I had to clean myself, and that should not be something a resident has to handle in an expensive apartment. The walls were very thin, so walking and stomping from the apartment above could clearly be heard. Pet waste was also regularly found outside, and notices seemed to go out without much actual follow-through. The maintenance staff was the one positive part of my experience because they were quick and helpful. Other than that, I would not live here again. After moving out, I was transferred to a manager about my security deposit, but I still did not get a returned call or voicemail back. I never received clear communication about my deposit, and even now I am still being ignored.

The apartments are clean and comfortable, and the common areas are modern, welcoming, and very well maintained. The maintenance crew deserves special mention, as they have been consistently friendly, respectful, and quick to respond whenever we've needed assistance. We do have a few pending maintenance items, but the team has been working with us to address everything step by step. Overall, we appreciate the effort and communication so far. I'm hopeful everything will be resolved soon and look forward to updating this review with good news.

Lauren, the building manager, is really helpful. I have had no problems living here. One thing that has struck me is the honesty of the people living here. Because the delivery people leave packages all over the place. We have never had anything go missing. The apartments are quiet, people are friendly. Very easy walk to the commuter rail station so getting to Boston is really easy. Lots of things going on here. Very good place to live.

Conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Melrose, a pleasant residential suburb with good local schools, the area also provides easy access to the Fells hiking trails and public transportation to downtown Boston with the nearby commuter rail (which is far enough to not cause noise issues). Although they do not offer as many shared amenities as other locations, the apartments are well-fitted with modern accommodations, including washer/dryer and premium kitchen appliances. Rent prices are comparably affordable for the area. With regard to service, they have been exemplary in my experience. Specifically, they were gracious and understanding of my situation when a family member was ill and I had to be away for an extended period of time. Walked around a bit after checking out the inside and was even-more pleased - there is an awesome little strip of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars right around the corner that is lined with hanging and potted planters (adorable). I chatted with a few people while walking and everyone I came into contact with was really sweet and friendly - love that community feel. There's a dunks like 50 feet from the building (super convenient), and there are parks and green spaces all over the place. Seriously great spot!

On top of this, construction is taking place outside my window on the road leading to the apartment building. Nothing says welcome home like a jackhammer going on at 9:00 at night. When they have resident events, they are so early that I don't understand how they expect anyone to show up in time from leaving work. And when I do arrive, all the food is gone. Close to Boston without being in Boston itself. Located within walking distance to a grocery store and CVS. Movie theater about a 5 minute drive away. Cons: Limited storage space in the unit. Limited on-site amenities, small gym and no pool, only one bench outside (with a grill) which is not an ideal scenario for enjoying sunny days. There is not much green area, although they did recently open a small (emphasis on small) dog park. Parking is not assigned and can really get competitive. The front office is not the best at answering the phones. Limited food options in the area.

The layout feels modern and is designed, with many additional features that add to the overall appeal. The amenities pool, gym, rooftop and more are top-notch and truly luxurious. What really stood out was the leasing team. Michael, the leasing agent, is amazing, professional, knowledgeable, incredibly patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the tour. He not only guided me through everything thoroughly but also answered what felt like a million questions and was extremely helpful while completing all the paperwork. Manager Jen was also very warm and welcoming, making the experience feel comfortable and personal. Overall, a beautiful community with excellent amenities and an outstanding staff, I can't wait to move in.

You -might- luck out and not have crappy neighbors but truth of the matter is that the floors and walls are extremely thin and this place was clearly built with cheap materials. You literally hear every single step someone makes above you and good luck getting any sleep if your next door neighbors are playing music or watching videos. Hell, one of my neighbors cranks up her sound-bar and does karaoke as annoyingly as possible every weekend. I now carry immense hatred for karaoke and for whoever bought and approved the building material for this flimsy and overpriced hack of a building. There's no way to sugarcoat this. OneBeachmont is built and managed to feel like an extended-stay hotel. It's clearly meant for people who party and have too much money to piss away. If you're a working professional or have a family -- I would not recommend this place because you won't have any peace or rest. The management doesn't do anything about it because they feel like not everyone is bothered by noise but none of them actually live here, lol. Good luck if you need something in middle of the night because the support number gets you connected to a rep from India who basically tells you that they can't help you but they sure 'understand' how it feels. The upstairs party area on 6th floor is nothing short of a circus-show because it's too many tenants trying to hoard it at the same time. You have insulting (to ears) music overlapping from 4-5 different tenants bluetooth speakers and it's just awful and impossible to enjoy. There was a high turn-over with management (they employ 'gotcha' tactics by shuffling building managers/leasing agents so they're not liable for anything.) and everything feels like a crapshoot. Amazon lockers are convenient but that's about it. Crackheads roam around the parking lot and building at night and you really need to watch your back and your car. Tenants inviting dozens of guests who hoard the pool and lawn area are the worst. Management doesn't have a way to deal with this and you need to expect the worst because that's what you'll get. There should be a limit to how many people you can invite here because the place is seriously far too small and over-crowded. You have 2-3 tenants with large families who roll-in and take over everything so you're better off just going out. Where's your value here when few people hoard all the common areas? The gym is way too small for 300+ tenants. Good luck trying to get anything done because 5-6 people love to hoard the few pieces of gym equipment this place has. Last year we had a tenant who stole equipment and the email that the management sent was laughable. 'We have you on video but we'll give you a chance to come clean to us.' -- There was no video. Nothing is recorded. The cameras they use are only useful during the day and only when someone is there to physically watch what's going on. You really think this place has money to spend on video recordings and bandwidth that it requires? I think other people have commented plenty over how much dog crap is around the building. Some of these owners should really be banned from owning pets. The rent is incredibly and -insultingly- high for what you get here. Things across the street at their sister building Ocean 650 aren't any better. Read the reviews carefully. Covid19 situation was handled horrendously.
