I arrived a bit late for a full tasting since they stop tastings after 4 PM, but the staff was still kind enough to let me sample four different wines. I ended up enjoying them so much that I bought three bottles to take with me--two reds and one sparkling. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Honestly, everyone I met in Las Cruces seemed that way. At one point, a local woman nearby even asked if it would bother me if she smoked. I thought that was such a polite and considerate thing to do. Between the mountain backdrop, the relaxed atmosphere, and the friendly people, it was a really pleasant stop. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

They feature an inside area where you can sample different types of wines and they also have a large room where you can host special events. They offer three free tastings. You can then purchase wine by the glass by the bottle or enjoy flights. They have plenty of seating in the outside area with rocking chairs or picnic tables and if you get hungry, they do have a food truck where you can purchase barbecue themed dishes, or charcuterie boards. If you visit on a Saturday or Sunday, they have live music from 12 to 4 PM. Make sure to get there early as it gets pretty packed and most seats will be taken if you arrive after 2 PM. You can also bring your own chairs just in case there's no seating available. They do have a resident indoor cat named truffles. If you're inside you'll probably get to meet him. Highly recommended.

The manager incorrectly stated that service dogs must wear a vest to be recognized as service animals and demanded that we provide a "service animal certificate." We were then told that such certificates were not valid and that service animals must be registered in New Mexico before being allowed into the restaurant. None of these statements are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service dogs are not required to wear vests, carry certificates, or be registered with any state in order to access public accommodations. It is deeply concerning that a manager responsible for serving the public appears to have such a poor understanding of federal disability law. The experience was embarrassing, discriminatory, and completely unnecessary. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States with my service dogs and have never been treated this way. I strongly encourage management to educate staff on ADA requirements before another customer is subjected to the same treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who relies on a service animal.
