I have been working with Albert & Fort Worth Billiards for 24 years now! I bought my first pool cue from him when I was 15. A (Earl Strickland white Cuetec) Then after becoming a better player I needed a more productive cue so, I purchased a Orignial Lucasi (which was my first "big boy" cue).. Went back a year later, and did a custom order on a Olhausen White Sierra table w/ black felt. I had them do a "III" customized on the nameplate. It was SO awesome! I have been going to him for years and years for cue service. I now own a Mike Lambros custom cue, and they were able to handle the tasks of high end cue remarkably. You can trust the "Elite Craftsman"Dereyk with any of your cue needs. From tip work, shaft cleaning, custom tapers and all exotic wraps, (he repaired my genuine elephant ear) and honestly the repair was WAY better than what buffalo bill did. This review is long over due! We purchased a pre owned pool table from Fort Worth Billiards in April 2019. From the moment we walked in, everyone was friendly and helpful. The store is bright and clean and every product is taken care of meticulously. This is our 1st pool table and when we explained what we were looking for, they were so helpful. We didn't plan on purchasing a pool table that day. We went in to look around and get information. We felt so confident in the store and service that we received that we decided to purchase the table that day. We never felt pressured. It was a great experience. The day of delivery went equally as smooth. The 2 guys who came to our home were considerate of our home and of us as they carried the heavy pieces to the 2nd floor. I am new to the pool table buying world. I searched for local billiards stores and FW Billiards came up. It was not easy to get to their location due to construction, but that's not their fault. Immediately upon entering the store I was greeted by a nice woman behind the counter. I was just there to browse so I didn't need anything. I just had my new Brunswick table delivered this weekend, and its the best purchase I've ever made. The staff at Ft. Worth Billiards were awesome to work with. They didn't try to oversell me at all. Actually they started me with the most moderately prices tables and allowed me to take my time and work up to the price point I wanted to buy. I was having new wood floors installed so the timing of my delivery had to be changed a couple of times, and they were great to work with me on it. I even purchased one too many Brunswick players chairs, and they took the extra back, no questions asked for a full refund. We just had a really spectacular experience with Fort Worth Billiards and Albert Trujillo. I researched tables and accessories for 4 weeks before buying a table (and a bunch of accessories and bar stools) from FWB. So I called them first and spoke with Albert, who listened carefully to our specific needs, and made a couple of suggestions for me to investigate before coming in. I did some additional research and when I went to the store and met with Albert, I already had a pretty clear idea what we wanted. Albert gave us a few terrific recommendations, with pros and cons of each, and helped guide us to a table that we've already fallen in love with. He then helped us pick out several stools and cues and put together a terrific package price. Part of my on-line research was of course pricing. FWB is as competitively priced as the most aggressive pricing on the internet, AND they're local, so that we have the same store that we bought the table from, set up the table. I couldn't beat the deal and service anywhere. This is a "no pressure" experience. Albert never "sold" us, he acted more as a consultant. We were very fortunate that they were able to deliver our table the very next day. The service guys who came out were very respectful of our home, very efficient, very knowledgeable, and very experienced. There is a LOT more that goes into setting up a table correctly than I ever imagined, and these guys know the right way to put it together and "fine-tune" the table for its best play. We've been playing on the table now for almost a week and it's been a wonderful table to play on and the sticks that Albert recommended have been incredible. WOW! Do not hesitate to purchase from Fort Worth Billiards. Albert Trujillo and his entire staff were very helpful, offered suggestions, listened to our needs, and answered our questions. There is a great selection of game room items. Our pool table is gorgeous and was delivered in one week. The delivery staff were very professional and discussed with us the best place to position the table for 'optimum play'. Before they left, they noticed the pool balls would leave a chalk mark on the felt. They called Albert. Albert then called us personally. Albert sent an employee that day with a different brand of balls, an upgrade that we didn't pay for. We were not told he would ship them to us, they hand delivered within a couple hours of the pool table being set up. This was a manufacturer issue, not a Fort Worth Billiard issue. Albert was awesome through the entire process of buying our pool table. It actually was a 9 month process in total because we were building a new home and made our first visit when construction was first started. We explained to him that we would not be making the purchase for a while, but he was fine with that and was very helpful in still explaining everything and answering all of our questions even knowing that a sale would not be coming for a while. We went in about 5 months later after picking colors for the house and made our final decisions on the table at that point, but still did not make the purchase. It was not until after we moved into our house that we went in for a third time and finally made the purchase. Albert remembered us from our earlier visits and asked about our house. He genuinely cared about us being happy and not just making his sale. We bought the pool table along with a ping pong conversion top. He explained in detail how the delivery and setup process was going to go and again answered all the questions we had. We setup our delivery date, which he was very flexible with and was able to get scheduled within the same week we bought the table. Installation was also an excellent experience. They setup the table and all the accessories that came with it and then they went into detail about keeping good care of the table and cleaning and once again answered all the questions we had. From start to finish, this was the best experience we have ever had making a large purchase like this. I highly recommend going to these guys to buy your pool table. me and my husband were pool table shopping one day and walked into this place. we let the sales man know we were in the market of buying a pool table so he showed us the greatest pool table ever!! we wanted it but we couldn't have it just yet because we were also in the market of changing our entire house by replacing the carpet. when we told our sales person that he told us that they would come and move our pool table if we bought carpet with no problems. So, that solved our issue so we decided to buy it then and there!!! the pool table was awesome and we were very happy until it was time to change the carpet. Three weeks later we called and told them we were ready to get the table moved and they said they would charge us 450.00 to take it apart and put it back up. Me and my husband were very confused, the guy who sold us the table basically called us liars and that they wouldn't say that, and clearly we heard them say that, I am not stupid!. So we ended up letting them call us liars and ended up paying to have them move it so we could install our carpet. Then, my husband checks the bank acct and sees them charging is 545.00 to take down and put back up. He calls them and speaks with Albert and he says they will fix it to 450.00. Keep in mind, my pool table is still broken down. I go on google and write a review on how I have had a bad experience and then they call my husband and tell him, that we need to find someone to come and put our pool table back up because they do not want our business anymore, but we have a LIFETIME warranty with them, and we have already paid for the re-assemble of the table. Make sure to take a tape recorder in when they make a deal with you! Oh how much i wish I could send this pool table back! I hate scam artists!!! read more
