Very rude and confusing- went online in search of bedroom suite and dressers for 3 bedroom home. I took an hour to goose many items an wrote down their item# (website says to call with item # for info) so I call. What happens?? I get transferred to 3 people and the 1 that finally answers says they aren't allowed to give out information over the phone to people. !?!? Really? I was unimpressed and I had some high expectations for a baller on a budget. I saw the place on tv and thought it looked like a discount store. I asked a coworker and she said she comes here all the time.. Also, its called liquidation sales; I was disappointed to see the prices on these mattresses. Wasn't nothing liquidation about the price tags. The place was empty and the workers congregated in the back. We could tell the place fell quiet when we came in and it was almost a hassle for the associate to come talk to us. Once he got there though, he gave me a picture perfect sales pitch... I mean total sales pitch, try touching this, try pushing these. Lay here, sit there, this will only last three years but over here, this will last for 10 years. It was just too much and once I saw the price, I was out the door anyway. Nice guys, nice stuff but not cheap as advertised. read more

After many months of looking through 12 furniture stores and at the point of us ordering something online without being able to set, feel, and knowing the exact colors of the furniture we decided to venture over to Unclaimed Freight. We weren't expecting to find anything but to our surprise they had many selections of sofas as well as recliners at very reasonable prices. J.C. helped us this day with our selections. He was very knowledgeable regarding each of the products and he was truly a bonus to have his expertise in our decision making. My wife and I spent over $5,000 on furniture from Unclaimed Freight, and it was the worst decision of our lives. We have had our furniture for 8 months now and within the first two weeks, we have literally had to replace everything because it was either. Or put together correctly or wood was broken. Since then, we have had wood inside of our couch break, we noticed a fracture in one of the legs of our table, our bench for the table also has a fracture in it, so we don't even use that anymore. Our table is all scratch up from me cleaning it with a paper towel as well. It's terrible. The company has not ever stood behind their products, and when we tried to return them after two weeks, they would not let us. Please do not buy from this company. read more

My wife and I went to Unclaimed Freight to look for bedroom furniture. This was our first time and the sales representative was very welcoming and nice. Provided us with a lot of good information. We decided to purchase a bedroom set along with a mattress. We informed him we would like delivery that following week. We wrote down to give us a call before coming to make sure we were home to let them in. On delivery day we called to double check when they would deliver. We were told they do not give that information because it is impossible to do. We had a scheduled doctors visit and only wanted a window so we could rearrange previous plans. We were then told they couldn't do that either because nobody gives a window for delivery. We informed him the customer service was not very good and he told us, "That's too bad." We informed him that it would be best to talk to the representative that helped us. We called the sales representative who helped us and he was able to let us know that the delivery could happen in the next 30 minutes. We agreed that would be ok and had to reschedule our appointment but appreciated the time frame. When the movers got there they did a great job and were very polite. Overall we are very happy with the bedroom furniture. read more

Unclaimed Freight Store Return Policy - Arlington, TX: 'Sorry your purchase didn't work out but we're not giving you your money back. But you can pick something else from our store for the same amount.' I was hoping to find some comfortable, light-color recliners for my small dark paneled den to replace my broken recliner. I bought what I thought was the perfect size and color for $549.00 ea. (Haverty's had something similar for $499.00, but it was push type, no handle.) The recliner leaflet stated that it had gel-infused memory foam for "cooler seating"; It was anything but cool. I couldn't stand the heat so I called to return them two days after they were delivered. I offered to pay the 20% restock fee just to get rid of them. But I was forced to replace them with two dark brown recliners that were a bit larger and not as comfortable as I was hoping to find. They were the only ones they had that would fit in my limited space. I even added a side table, which I didn't need, so that I could try to match the original purchase price. But they will not refund or give me credit for the balance. According to their policy, I have to buy something else that I don't want or need. They claim to be a discount store, but their price for the Ashley recliner I was forced to buy was $419.95. I could have gotten the same recliner at Ashley Furniture Store for $349.99 (I've copied their ad). The purchase ended up costing me even more because I had to pay another $99.00 for a second delivery. The salesman didn't inform me of their no return policy. I only noticed a sign when I sat down at the office and we were filling out the papers. Before then, I wasn't aware that any store could have such a policy (I moved to Arlington, TX recently). I didn't realize the implications then, especially when the $549 recliners looked so perfect. He told me that they could not give me credit for the balance because they can't renegotiate the contract with Wells Fargo and they also will not refund the balance. I don't see how submitting the balance as a payment would be renegotiating anything. I don't have room for any more stuff in my house. In fact, I need to get rid of some things. I just wanted to replace my broken chair with something nice. When I told the salesman that they don't have anything that I want or need in their store, he said, "Ok, but you still have credit." Because of their policy, I'm now stuck with recliners that I had to settle for instead of finding something I liked and could live with for years with satisfaction; and they are keeping my money. I know that I'm in this situation because of my ignorance of this type of store's existence, but I believe that their policy is unfair and I find it hard to believe that others haven't been trapped into buying something they don't want. I suggest that you shop elsewhere instead of gambling with a purchase at Unclaimed Freight. read more

If the option for NO star was available that is what I would have chosen. The old management was amazing. Current management and customer service is AWEFUL. We were assured 1.5 years ago that our bed was made of "solid wood" what they meant was cardboard, which I suppose they consider wood. The bed broke. It was out of warranty. They told us when we purchased the bed "don't worry about an extended warranty, we'll fix it if something goes wrong". They agreed to fix it for 1/2 of what we paid for it to begin with. Seriously??!! The customer service woman is not worth a second of your time, better off talking to a brick wall or helium ballon- she's that smart! Take your money elsewhere, get good customer service and furniture that won't break in the middle of the night whole you're sleeping. read more

I purchased a recliner back in late august 2018, it was the heavy duty comfort king by Lane, rated up to 500lbs. It broke on Dec 24th, on the 28th of Dec after being told not to bring it back but to send pics, I received an email from Andrea that they would order parts from Lane and it would take a couple of weeks, but she would give an eta. On the 15th of Jan 2019 I called her to get an eta she then said it could take 4 weeks. Well it is now Feb 4th and still no eta, but that's ok Andrea because I have took it upon myself to replace and fix the recliner with stainless steel bolts, not pewter bolts. This is the second lane recliner to have bolts break the first was out of warranty but I guess there never was a warranty both were bought at UFC on Division St in Arlington Tx as were couches and bedroom suit etc but not again. Instead we went to lazy boy last week to replace our couch. And we won't be back. read more
