Matthew & his assistant (didn't catch his name) came out promptly to fix my LG craft-icemaker which we had repaired by someone else twice before. He had the icemaker with him ready to install but when he gave us a cost estimate over $700 we said "Woah! " & inquired about buying the icemaker online. They encouraged us to do that & said that they would gladly come back out to install it, saving us about $300. We promptly ordered it online for $174 & are waiting for it to arrive. Our fairly new LG refrigerator had stopped working, so being under warranty we called LG and they contacted Fort Worth Refrigerator Repair, who immediately agreed to repair our fridge. They arrived the next day and got our fridge back in working order. I appreciate that they explained to me how to clean the vents and make sure there is enough air flow, to hopefully prevent this problem from appening again. Matthew is very knowledgeable and maintained communication with me throughout the repair process for my Frigidaire side by side. The inlet valve for water to the ice maker and water dispenser failed. Horrible company. They took our money to repair our ice maker and then when the repair did not take they are refusing to even come back out to work on the unit. The funny thing is that we didn't even want work done for free. We would gladly pay to have the unit working again. Do not use this company. Good companies don't leave clients hanging. I did not understand but did not need to try. After additional analysis and work my fridge is working great. Jack and Matthew were professional and did a difficult job as promised. Very disappointed in my experience with this company. I asked them to come out on a Saturday to look at my Kitchen-Aid refrigerator for water leaking on the floor. They looked at it for about 2 minutes (did not take any pieces of the refrigerator apart) and informed me that I needed to have the drip pan replaced. They advised that the cost to replace would be $300-$350. They also stated that this original part was poorly made out of an inferior material which was the reason for the malfunction. I called Kitchen-Aid to get more information about this part and to find out if these parts were subject any recall. Kitchen-Aid advised me that, although not subject to a recall, they would cover the cost of the part, but I would need to pay for labor. I called Jack back and my call was returned Monday morning. I asked him how much of his quote was attributable to the cost of the part. He said $50. I asked him to reconcile the $300-$350 quote minus the part. His explanation was that there was an $85 diagnostic fee (for apparently not actually inspecting the insides of the refrigerator) and then $75 for labor. When I informed him that $85+$75+$50 does not equal $300-$350, he noted that I needed to add tax. Unless there is a refrigerator tax that I am unaware of, I don't believe this gets us to his quote. He advised me that he would rather come in high than come in low. He further advised that he would call me back with an exact quote when he got to the office. I never heard back from him. I had a separate company come four days later and repaired my refrigerator. They inspected the refrigerator inside and out and determined that I had a clogged drain line. They further advised, in writing, that there was no need for a drain pan replacement. This was all done for a cost of $140. I called Jack back to ask him about this extreme discrepancy as well as why he never called me back. He said he was sick and lost five pounds and was unable to call me back. His answer to the difference in repairs/cost was "You got took" referring to his competitor. He said my refrigerator would most assuredly be leaking again because the problem was with the drip pan. My refrigerator has been working perfectly with no more water leaking since the repair of unclogging the drain line. I would definitely NOT do business with this company again. read more

My Dad and I had 2 refrigerators go out in 1 week and we called the local company to give them our business. They came out within an few hours diagnose the problem. This is a father and son team! They are professional and efficient. Our refrigerator is running perfectly and they even fixed a part on our ice maker at no charge! Jack the owner and his son Matthew were a joy to work with and they gave me a very competitive price compared to other companies I contacted. Our refrigerator was an older model and Jack convinced us that we should repair it instead of buying a new unit as the older units are made more soundly...he said he had just installed a compressor on a very expensive year old electronically controlled LG that cost $5k! On leaving Jack said if I had any problems to call right back and they would come and address it ASAP. I know who I will call if I ever have to repair this unit...and he said if I keep the condenser clean that it should run at least 15 years! Incredibly satisfied! read more

Terrible service. Had ice building up in our freezer and refrigerator was no longer getting cold. They came out and said they knew exactly what it was and needed to order a part. Called several times after then and no answer. Finally got a hold of them months later and evidently they forgot to order the part--blamed it on covid. Part came in a week later and they came to install part. Problem has continued after they claimed to have fixed it. Called to have them come out again, since their service was under warranty. Was told it was a different issue (even though it wasn't) and they'd be at my home to look at it again. Stated they'd text with a time the morning of the appointment. Waited around all day and never received text. Have called and text multiple times since and they're no longer replying/answering. Way to stick by your work...will never use them again. Already have another repair company coming out tomorrow. read more

I wouldn't trust anyone else to repair my refrigerator. I scheduled my repair and they came out exactly when they said they would. There wasn't any 4 hour window like the GE repair center has. I told them when I wanted it done and that's when they showed up. It took 30 minutes and he was done. Refrigerator works great. read more
